Asaddhammoti asata½ n²cajan±na½ dhammo. G±madhammoti g±mav±s²na½ sevanadhammo. Vasaladhammoti vasal±na½ dhammo; kilesavassanato v± sayameva vasalo dhammoti vasaladhammo. Duµµhullanti duµµhuñca kilesehi duµµhatt±, th³lañca anipuºabh±vatoti duµµhulla½. Ito paµµh±ya ca t²su padesu “yo so”ti ida½ parivattetv± “ya½ tan”ti katv± yojetabba½– “ya½ ta½ duµµhulla½, ya½ ta½ odakantika½, ya½ ta½ rahassan”ti. Ettha ca yasm± tassa kammassa pariv±rabh³ta½ dassanampi gahaºampi ±masanampi phusanampi ghaµµanampi duµµhulla½, tasm±pi ta½ kamma½ duµµhulla½. Ya½ ta½ duµµhulla½ so methunadhammo. Ki½ k±raº± vuccati methunadhammoti? Ubhinna½ ratt±na½ s±ratt±na½ avassut±na½ pariyuµµhit±na½ ubhinna½ sadis±na½ dhammoti, ta½ k±raº± vuccati methunadhammoti.
Paµisevati n±m±ti ida½ “paµiseveyy±”ti ettha yen±k±rena paµiseveyy±ti vuccati, tass±k±rassa dassanattha½ m±tik±pada½. Yo nittena nimittanti-±d²su yo bhikkhu itthiy± nimittena attano nimitta½, itthiy± aªgaj±tena attano aªgaj±ta½ sabbantimena pam±ºena ekatilab²jamattampi v±tena asamphuµµhe allok±se paveseti, eso paµisevati n±ma; ettakena s²labheda½ p±puº±ti, p±r±jiko hoti.
Ettha ca itthinimitte catt±ri pass±ni, vemajjhañc±ti pañca µh±n±ni labbhanti. Purisanimitte catt±ri pass±ni, majjha½, uparic±ti cha. Tasm± itthinimitte heµµh± pavesentopi p±r±jiko hoti. Uparito pavesentopi, ubhohi passehi pavesentopi catt±ri µh±n±ni muñcitv± majjhena pavesentopi p±r±jiko hoti. Purisanimitta½ pana heµµh±bh±gena chupanta½ pavesentopi p±r±jiko hoti. Uparibh±gena chupanta½ pavesentopi, ubhohi passehi chupanta½ pavesentopi, majjheneva chupanta½ pavesentopi samañchitaªguli½ viya majjhimapabbapiµµhiy± saªkocetv± uparibh±gena chupanta½ pavesentopi p±r±jiko hoti. Tattha tul±daº¹asadisa½ pavesentass±pi catt±ri pass±ni, majjhañc±ti pañca µh±n±ni; saªkocetv± pavesentass±pi catt±ri pass±ni, uparibh±gamajjhañc±ti pañca µh±n±ni– eva½ sabb±nipi purisanimitte dasa µh±n±ni honti.
Nimitte j±ta½ anaµµhak±yappas±da½ cammakh²la½ v± pi¼aka½ v± paveseti, ±patti p±r±jikassa. Naµµhak±yappas±da½ matacamma½ v± sukkhapi¼aka½ v± paveseti, ±patti dukkaµassa. Methunass±dena loma½ v± aªguli-aªguµµhab²j±d²ni v± pavesentass±pi dukkaµameva. Ayañca methunakath± n±ma yasm± duµµhull± kath± asabbhikath±, tasm± eta½ v± añña½ v± vinaye ²disa½ µh±na½ kathentena paµikk³lamanasik±rañca samaºasaññañca hirottappañca paccupaµµhapetv± samm±sambuddhe g±rava½ upp±detv± asamak±ruºikassa lokan±thassa karuº±guºa½ ±vajjetv± kathetabba½. So hi n±ma bhagav± sabbaso k±mehi vinivattam±nasopi satt±nudday±ya lok±nukamp±ya sattesu k±ruññata½ paµicca sikkh±padapaññ±panatth±ya ²disa½ katha½ kathesi. “Aho satthu karuº±guºo”ti eva½ lokan±thassa karuº±guºa½ ±vajjetv± kathetabba½.

Ýh±nesu p±r±jika½, ettakesu thullaccaya½, ettakesu dukkaµan”ti. Tasm± suºantenapi kathentenapi b²jakena mukha½ apidh±ya dantavida½saka½ hasam±nena na nis²ditabba½. “Samm±sambuddhen±pi ²disa½ kathitan”ti paccavekkhitv± gabbhitena hirottappasampannena satthupaµibh±gena hutv± kathetabbanti.

Tattha ahiggahaºena sabb±pi ajagaragonas±dibhed± d²ghaj±ti saªgahit±. Tasm± d²ghaj±t²su yattha tiººa½ magg±na½ aññatarasmi½ sakk± tilaphalamattampi pavesetu½, s± p±r±jikavatthu. Avases± dukkaµavatth³ti veditabb±. Macchaggahaºena sabb±pi macchakacchapamaº¹³k±dibhed± odakaj±ti saªgahit±. Tatr±pi d²ghaj±tiya½ vuttanayeneva p±r±jikavatthu ca dukkaµavatthu ca veditabba½. Aya½ pana viseso– pataªgamukhamaº¹³k± n±ma honti tesa½ mukhasaºµh±na½ mahanta½, chidda½ appaka½, tattha pavesana½ nappahoti; mukhasaºµh±na½ pana vaºasaªkhepa½ gacchati, tasm± ta½ thullaccayavatth³ti veditabba½. Kukkuµiggahaºena sabb±pi k±kakapot±dibhed± pakkhij±ti saªgahit±. Tatr±pi vuttanayeneva p±r±jikavatthu ca dukkaµavatthu ca veditabba½. Majj±riggahaºena sabb±pi rukkhasunakha-muªgusa-godh±dibhed± catuppadaj±ti saªgahit±. Tatr±pi vuttanayeneva p±r±jikavatthu ca dukkaµavatthu ca veditabba½.
P±r±jikoti par±jito, par±jaya½ ±panno. Ayañhi p±r±jikasaddo sikkh±pad±pattipuggalesu vattati. Ayañhettha attho– “ta½ sikkh±pada½ v²tikkamanto ±pattiñca ±panno puggalo cuto hot²ti sabba½ yojetabba½. Tena vuccat²ti yena k±raºena assamaºo hoti asakyaputtiyo paribhaµµho chinno par±jito s±sanato, tena vuccati. Kinti? “P±r±jiko hot²”ti.
Saha vasanti etth±ti sa½v±so, ta½ dassetu½ “sa½v±so n±m±”ti vatv± “ekakamman”ti-±dim±ha. Tatr±ya½ saddhi½ yojan±ya vaººan±– catubbidhampi saªghakamma½ s²m±paricchinnehi pakatattehi bhikkh³hi ekato kattabbatt± ekakamma½ n±ma. Tath± pañcavidhopi p±timokkhuddeso ekato uddisitabbatt± ekuddeso n±ma. Paññatta½ pana sikkh±pada½ sabbehipi lajj²puggalehi sama½ sikkhitabbabh±vato samasikkhat± n±ma. Ettha yasm± sabbepi lajjino etesu kamm±d²su saha vasanti, na ekopi tato bahiddh± sandissati, tasm± t±ni sabb±nipi gahetv± “eso sa½v±so n±m±”ti ±ha. So ca vuttappak±ro sa½v±so tena puggalena saddhi½ natthi, tena k±raºena so p±r±jiko puggalo asa½v±soti vuccat²ti.

Eva½ uddiµµhasikkh±pada½ pad±nukkamena vibhajitv± id±ni ya½ ta½ “paµiseveyy±”ti ettha yen±k±rena paµiseveyy±ti vuccati, tass±k±rassa dassanattha½ “paµisevati n±m±”ti ida½ m±tik±pada½ µhapetv± “nimittena nimitta½ aªgaj±tena aªgaj±tan”ti vutta½. Tattha yasm± na kevala½ itthiy± eva nimitta½ p±r±jikavatthu, na ca manussitthiy± eva, suvaººarajat±dimay±nañca itth²nampi nimitta½ vatthumeva na hoti; tasm± ya½ ya½ vatthu hoti, ta½ ta½ dassetu½ “tisso itthiyo”ti-±din± nayena yesa½ nimitt±ni vatth³ni honti, te satte vatv± “manussitthiy± tayo magge”ti-±din± nayena t±ni vatth³ni ±ha.
Tattha tisso itthiyo, tayo ubhatobyañjanak±, tayo paº¹ak±, tayo puris±ti p±r±jikavatth³na½nimitt±na½ nissay± dv±dasa satt± honti. Tesu itthipuris± p±kaµ± eva Paº¹aka-ubhatobyañjanakabhedo pabbajj±khandhakavaººan±ya½ p±kaµo bhavissati.
Manussitthiy± tayo magge methuna½ dhamma½ paµisevantass±ti ettha ca manussitthiy± t²su magges³ti attho veditabbo. Eva½ sabbattha. Sabbe eva cete manussitthiy± tayo magg±, amanussitthiy± tayo, tiracch±nagatitthiy± tayoti nava; manussa-ubhatobyañjanak±d²na½ nava; manussapaº¹ak±d²na½ dve dve katv± cha; tath± manussapuris±d²nanti samati½sa magg± honti. Etesu nimittasaªkh±tesu yattha katthaci attano aªgaj±ta½ tilaphalamattampi pavesetv± methuna½ dhamma½ paµisevanto p±r±jika½ ±pajjati.
