Yath±ha– “yattha kho, ±vuso, na j±yati na j²yati na m²yati na cavati na upapajjati, n±ha½ ta½ gamanena lokassa anta½ ñ±teyya½ daµµheyya½ patteyyanti vad±mi; na c±ha½, ±vuso, appatv±va lokassa anta½ dukkhassa antakiriya½ vad±mi. Api c±ha½, ±vuso, imasmi½yeva by±mamatte ka¼evare sasaññimhi samanake lokañca paññapemi lokasamudayañca lokanirodhañca lokanirodhag±miniñca paµipada½.
“Gamanena na pattabbo, lokassanto kud±cana½;
na ca appatv± lokanta½, dukkh± atthi pamocana½.

Yasm± panesa sabbesampi satt±na½ ±saya½ j±n±ti, anusaya½ j±n±ti, carita½ j±n±ti, adhimutti½ j±n±ti, apparajakkhe mah±rajakkhe tikkhindriye mudindriye sv±k±re dv±k±re suviññ±paye duviññ±paye bhabbe abhabbe satte j±n±ti, tasm±ssa sattalokopi sabbath± vidito. Attano pana guºehi visiµµhatarassa kassaci abh±v± natthi etassa uttaroti anuttaro. Tath± hesa s²laguºen±pi sabba½ lokamabhibhavati, sam±dhi…pe… paññ±… vimutti… vimuttiñ±ºadassanaguºen±pi, s²laguºen±pi asamo asamasamo appaµimo appaµibh±go appaµipuggalo…pe… vimuttiñ±ºadassanaguºen±pi. Yath±ha– “na kho pan±ha½, bhikkhave, samanupass±mi sadevake loke sam±rake…pe… sadevamanuss±ya attan± s²lasampannataran”ti vitth±ro.

Purisadamme s±ret²ti purisadammas±rathi, dameti vinet²ti vutta½ hoti. Tattha purisadamm±ti adant± dametu½ yutt± tiracch±napuris±pi manussapuris±pi amanussapuris±pi. Tath± hi bhagavat± tiracch±napuris±pi apal±¼o n±gar±j±, c³¼odaro, mahodaro, aggisikho, dh³masikho, dhanap±lako hatth²ti evam±dayo damit±, nibbis± kat±, saraºesu ca s²lesu ca patiµµh±pit±. Manussapuris±pi saccakanigaºµhaputta-ambaµµham±ºava-pokkharas±ti-soºadaº¹ak³µadant±dayo. Amanussapuris±pi ±¼avaka-s³ciloma-kharaloma-yakkha-sakkadevar±j±dayo damit± vin²t± vicitrehi vinayan³p±yehi. “Aha½ kho, kesi, purisadamma½ saºhenapi vinemi, pharusenapi vinemi, saºhapharusenapi vinem²”ti (a. ni. 4.111) idañcettha sutta½ vitth±retabba½. Atha v± visuddhas²l±d²na½ paµhamajjh±n±d²ni sot±pann±d²nañca uttarimaggapaµipada½ ±cikkhanto dantepi dametiyeva.
Atha v± anuttaro purisadammas±rath²ti ekamevida½ atthapada½ Bhagav± hi tath± purisadamme s±reti, yath± ekapallaªkeneva nisinn± aµµha dis± asajjam±n± dh±vanti. Tasm± “anuttaro purisadammas±rath²”ti vuccati. “Hatthidamakena, bhikkhave, hatthidammo s±rito eka½yeva disa½ dh±vat²”ti idañcettha sutta½ (ma. ni. 3.312) vitth±retabba½.
Diµµhadhammikasampar±yikaparamatthehi yath±raha½ anus±sat²ti satth±. Apica satth± viy±ti satth±, bhagav± satthav±ho. “Yath± satthav±ho satthe kant±ra½ t±reti, corakant±ra½ t±reti, v±¼akant±ra½ t±reti, dubbhikkhakant±ra½ t±reti, nirudakakant±ra½ t±reti, utt±reti nitt±reti pat±reti khemantabh³mi½ samp±peti; evameva bhagav± satth± satthav±ho satte kant±ra½ t±reti j±tikant±ra½ t±ret²”ti-±din± (mah±ni. 190) niddesanayenapettha attho veditabbo.
Devamanuss±nanti daev±nañca manuss±nañca ukkaµµhaparicchedavaseneta½ vutta½, bhabbapuggalaparicchedavasena ca. Bhagav± pana tiracch±nagat±nampi anus±sanippad±nena satth±yeva. Tepi hi bhagavato dhammasavanena upanissayasampatti½ patv± t±ya eva upanissayasampattiy± dutiye tatiye v± attabh±ve maggaphalabh±gino honti. Maº¹³kadevaputt±dayo cettha nidassana½. Bhagavati kira gaggar±ya pokkharaºiy± t²re camp±nagarav±s²na½ dhamma½ desayam±ne eko maº¹³ko bhagavato sare nimitta½ aggahesi. Ta½ eko vacchap±lako daº¹amolubbha tiµµhanto tassa s²se sannirumbhitv± aµµh±si. So t±vadeva k±la½ katv± t±vati½sabhavane dv±dasayojanike kanakavim±ne nibbatti. Suttappabuddho viya ca tattha acchar±saªghaparivuta½ att±na½ disv± “are, ahampi n±ma idha nibbattosmi! Ki½ nu kho kamma½ ak±sin”ti ±vajjento n±ñña½ kiñci addasa, aññatra bhagavato sare nimittagg±h±. So ta±vadeva saha vim±nena ±gantv± bhagavato p±de siras± vandi. Bhagav± j±nantova pucchi–
“Ko me vandati p±d±ni, iddhiy± yasas± jala½;
abhikkantena vaººena, sabb± obh±saya½ dis±”ti.
“Maº¹³koha½ pure ±si½, udake v±rigocaro;
tava dhamma½ suºantassa, avadhi vacchap±lako”ti. (Vi. va. 857-858).
Bhagav± tassa dhamma½ desesi. Desan±vas±ne catur±s²tiy± p±ºasahass±na½ dhamm±bhisamayo ahosi. Devaputtopi sot±pattiphale patiµµh±ya sita½ katv± pakk±m²ti.
Ya½ pana kiñci atthi ñeyya½ n±ma, tassa sabbassa buddhatt± vimokkhantikañ±ºavasena buddho. Yasm± v± catt±ri sacc±ni attan±pi bujjhi, aññepi satte bodhesi; tasm± evam±d²hipi k±raºehi buddho. Imassa catthassa viññ±panattha½ “bujjhit± sacc±n²ti buddho, bodhet± paj±y±ti buddho”ti eva½ pavatto sabbopi niddesanayo (mah±ni. 192) paµisambhid±nayo (paµi. ma. 1.162) v± vitth±retabbo.
Bhagav±ti ida½ panassa guºavisiµµhasattuttamagarug±rav±dhivacana½. Ten±hu por±º±–
“Bhagav±ti vacana½ seµµha½, bhagav±ti vacanamuttama½;
garu g±ravayutto so, bhagav± tena vuccat²”ti.
Catubbidhañhi n±ma½– ±vatthika½, liªgika½, nemittika½, adhiccasamuppannanti. Adhiccasamuppanna½ n±ma lokiyavoh±rena “yadicchakan”ti vutta½ hoti. Tattha “vaccho dammo balibaddo”ti evam±di ±vatthika½. “Daº¹² chatt² sikh² kar²”ti evam±di liªgika½. “Tevijjo cha¼abhiñño”ti evam±di nemittika½. “Siriva¹¹hako dhanava¹¹hako”ti evam±di vacanatthamanapekkhitv± pavatta½ adhiccasamuppanna½. Ida½ pana bhagav±ti n±ma½ nemittika½, na mah±m±y±ya na suddhodanamah±r±jena na as²tiy± ñ±tisahassehi kata½, na sakkasantusit±d²hi devat±visesehi. Vuttañheta½ dhammasen±patin±– “bhagav±ti neta½ n±ma½ m±tar± kata½…pe… vimokkhantikameta½ buddh±na½ bhagavant±na½ bodhiy± m³le saha sabbaññutaññ±ºassa paµil±bh± sacchik±paññatti, yadida½ bhagav±”ti (mah±ni. 84).
Ya½guºanemittikañceta½ n±ma½, tesa½ guº±na½ pak±sanattha½ ima½ g±tha½ vadanti–
“Bhag² bhaj² bh±g² vibhattav± iti;
ak±si bhagganti gar³ti bh±gyav±;
bah³hi ñ±yehi subh±vitattano;
bhavantago so bhagav±ti vuccat²”ti.
Niddese vuttanayeneva cettha tesa½ tesa½ pad±namattho daµµhabbo.
