Tesa½ pak±sanato aya½ pakaraŗappadeso paµµh±nanti veditabba½.
“Sa½kilesabh±giyan”ti-±d²su sa½kilissati eten±ti sa½kileso. Sa½kilesabh±ge sa½kilesakoµµh±se pavatta½ sa½kilesabh±giya½. Imin± nayena tepi gahetu½ sakk±ti p±¼iya½ sa½khitt±ti daµµhabba½. Tath± hi vakkhati– “im±ni catt±ri sutt±ni, s±dh±raŗ±ni kat±ni aµµha bhavant²”ti-±di. Tattha yasm± katthaci sutte taŗh±sa½kilesova niddis²yati, katthaci diµµhisa½kilesova, katthaci duccaritasa½kilesova niddis²yati, tasm± sa½kilesabh±giya½ sutta½ tidh± vibhajitv± uddiµµha½ “taŗh±sa½kilesabh±giya½ suttan”ti-±din±. Tath± vod±na½ n±ma sa½kilese sati hot²ti vod±nabh±giya½ sutta½ sa½kilesavibh±gena tidh±va uddiµµha½ “taŗh±vod±nabh±giya½ suttan”ti-±din±. Ta½ pana atthato v±san±bh±giy±di eva hoti. Ayańca nayo kesuci potthakesu natthi.
“Tattha sa½kileso tividho”ti-±di sa½kilesapaµipakkhato samath±diniddh±raŗavasena v±san±bh±giy±disutt±na½ visayadassanattha½ ±raddha½. Tattha yadi ±satti uppajjati bhaves³ti bhavesu chandar±ga½ pajahitu½ asakkontassa yadi bhavapatthan± uppajjati. Eva½ s±yanti evamassa puggalassa aya½ samathavipassan±bh±van±maya½ puńńakiriyavatthu bhavati pujjabhavaphalanibbattanato. Tatr³papattiy± sa½vattat²ti tatra tatra bhave upapattiy± sa½vattati. Im±ni catt±ri sutt±n²ti im±ni sa½kilesabh±giy±d²ni catt±ri sutt±ni. S±dh±raŗ±ni kat±n²ti sa½kilesabh±giyańca v±san±bh±giyańca, sa½kilesabh±giyańca nibbedhabh±giyańca, sa½kilesabh±giyańca asekkhabh±giyańca, v±san±bh±giyańca nibbedhabh±giyańc±ti eva½ padantarasa½yojanavasena missit±ni kat±ni. Aµµha bhavant²ti purim±ni catt±ri im±ni catt±r²ti eva½ aµµha bhavanti.

Tattha g±th±ya g±th± anuminitabb±ti aya½ g±th± viya g±th± sa½kilesabh±giy±ti v± v±san±bh±giy±ti v± nibbedhabh±giy±ti v± asekkhabh±giy±ti v± anuminitabb±, anu anu minitv± takketv± j±nitabb±ti attho. Sesapadesupi eseva nayo. Ettha ca g±th±veyy±karaŗavinimutt± sabb± pariyatti “sutten±”tipadena saŖgahit±ti daµµhabb±.
90. Id±ni sa½kilesabh±giy±d²ni sutt±ni yath±niddiµµh±ni ud±haraŗavasena vibh±vetu½ “tattha katama½ sa½kilesabh±giya½ suttan”ti-±di ±raddha½. Tattha “k±mandh± j±lasańchann±”ti g±th±ya attho heµµh± vuttoyeva. Yath± imassa, eva½ ito par±nampi heµµh± vuttatth±na½ utt±napad±nańca attha½ na vaŗŗayiss±ma.
Agatigaman±n²ti k±y±d²hi ayuttagaman±ni, akattabbakaraŗ±n²ti attho. Chand±ti chandahetu icch±paccay±. Agati½ gacchat²ti agantabba½ gati½ gacchati, akattabba½ karot²ti attho. Dhammanti s±dh³na½ ariy±na½ dhamma½. Ativattat²ti atimadditv± v²tikkamati. Nih²yat²ti h±yati. Yasoti kitti ca pariv±ro ca.
“ManopubbaŖgam± dhamm±”ti g±th±ya½ manoti yadipi k±m±vacarakusal±dibheda½ sabbampi catubh³makacitta½ mano, imasmi½ pana µh±ne cakkhup±lattherassa (dha. pa. 1-2; therag±. 95) purimaj±tiya½ vejjabh³tassa uppannavasena niyamiyam±na½ paµighasampayuttacittameva labbhati. So mano pubbaŖgamo etesanti manopubbaŖgam±, manas± paµhamag±min± samann±gat±ti attho. Dhamm±ti nissattanijj²vaµµhena dhamm±, te pana vedan±dayo tayo ar³pino khandh±. Ete hi manopubbaŖgam±. Katha½ panetehi saddhi½ ekasmi½ vatthusmi½ ekasmińca ±rammaŗe ekakkhaŗe uppajjam±no mano pubbaŖgamo n±ma hot²ti? Upp±dapaccayaµµhena. Yath± hi bah³su ekato g±magh±t±dikamm±ni karontesu “ko etesa½ pubbaŖgamo”ti vutte yo tesa½ paccayo hoti, ya½ ya½ niss±ya te ta½ kamma½ karonti, so datto v± mitto v± tesa½ pubbaŖgamoti vuccati, eva½sampadamida½ daµµhabba½. Iti upp±dapaccayaµµhena mano pubbaŖgamo etesanti manopubbaŖgam±. Na hi te mane anuppajjante uppajjitu½ sakkuŗanti, mano pana ekaccesu cetasikesu anuppajjantesupi uppajjati eva.
Adhipativasena mano seµµho etesanti manoseµµh±. Yath± hi cor±d²na½ corajeµµhak±dayo adhipatino seµµh±, tath± tesampi mano seµµho. Yath± pana d±ru-±d²hi nipphann±ni bhaŗ¹±ni d±rumay±d²ni n±ma honti, tath± etepi manato nipphannatt± manomay± n±ma. Paduµµhen±ti abhijjh±d²hi dosehi paduµµhena d³sitena bh±sati v± karoti v±. So hi bh±santo catubbidha½ vac²duccaritameva bh±sati, karontopi tividha½ k±yaduccaritameva karoti, abh±santo akaronto tehi abhijjh±d²hi paduµµhamanat±ya tividha½ manoduccarita½ p³reti. Evamassa dasa akusalakammapath± p±rip³ri½ gacchanti. Tato na½ dukkhamanvet²ti tato tividhaduccaritato ta½ puggala½ dukkha½ anveti duccarit±nubh±vena cat³su ap±yesu dukkha½ anugacchati. Yath± ki½? Samparivattas±y²ti seyyasukhapassasukh±na½ anuyuńjanavasena samparivattakasayanas²lo Niv±papuµµhoti kuŗ¹ak±din± s³karabhattena puµµho.
