Neruttanti nirutta½ nibbacananti attho. Niruttameva nerutta½. Tenev±ha– “y± niruttipadasa½hit±”ti. Tassattho– y± nirutti, ida½ nerutta½. K± pana s± nirutti? Padasa½hit±ti padesu sa½hit± yutt±, liªgavacanak±las±dhanapuris±divisesayogena yo yo attho yath± yath± vattabbo, tath± tath± pavattasabh±vanirutt²ti attho. Tath± hi vutta½ “ya½ dhamm±na½ n±maso ñ±ºan”ti.
Tattha yanti hetu-atthe nip±to, y±ya k±raºabh³t±y±ti attho. Dhamm±nanti ñeyyadhamm±na½. So panassa atthe pavattinimittabh³t±ya paññattiy± gahit±ya eva hot²ti s± pana paññatti niruttisaªkh±tapadena sa½hit± padattha½ bodhet²ti padasa½hit±ti vutt±. “Yad± hi bhikkh³”ti-±din± “dhamm±na½ n±maso ñ±ºan”ti padassa attha½ vivarati.
Tattha atthass±ti sadd±bhidheyyassa atthassa. N±ma½ j±n±t²ti n±mapaññattivasena aya½ n±m±ti n±ma½ j±n±ti. Dhammass±ti sabh±vadhammassa. Tath± tath± na½ abhiniropet²ti yo yo attho dhammo ca yath± yath± ca voharitabbo, tath± tath± na½ n±ma½ voh±ra½ abhiniropeti deset²ti attho. Eva½ sabb±ni k±tabb±ni, janapadanirutt±n²ti yattak±ni sattavoh±rapad±ni, t±ni sabb±ni yath±sambhava½ sutte nibbacanavasena k±tabb±ni vattabb±n²ti attho. Sabb± ca janapadaniruttiyoti sabb± ca lokasamaññ±yo yath±raha½ k±tabb±. “Samañña½ n±tidh±veyy±”ti hi vutta½. Tath± hi sammutisaccamukheneva paramatthasacc±dhigamo hot²ti.

K±mandh±ti kilesak±mena andh±. J±lasañchann±ti taºh±j±lapaliguºµhit±. Taºh±chadanach±dit±ti taºh±saªkh±tena andhak±rena pihit±. Bandhan±baddh±ti k±maguºasaªkh±tena bandhanena baddh±. “Pamattabandhan±”tipi p±µho, pam±den±ti attho. Pubb±paren±ti pubbena v± aparena v± desanantaren±ti adhipp±yo. Yujjat²ti yoga½ upeti, samet²ti attho. Imehi padehi pariyuµµh±neh²ti imehi yath±vuttehi g±th±padehi taºh±pariyuµµh±nad²pakehi. Anavasesataºh±pah±nena nittaºho. Attahitaparahit±na½ idhalokaparalok±nañca munanato mun²ti eva½ g±th±ya padattho veditabbo. Papañc±di-atth± pana p±¼iya½ vibhatt± ev±ti. Tattha yassete papañc±dayo abbhattha½ gat±, tassa taºh±ya lesopi na bhavati. Tena vutta½– “yo eta½ sabba½ samatikkanto, aya½ vuccati nittaºho”ti.
28. Pariyuµµh±nanti “taºh±ya pariyuµµh±nan”ti vutt±ni taºh±vicarit±ni. Saªkh±r±ti “tadabhisaªkhat± saªkh±r±”ti vutt± taºh±diµµhim±nahetuk± saªkh±r±. Te pana yasm± sattasu javanacetan±su paµhamacetan± sati paccayasamav±ye imasmi½yeva attabh±ve phala½ deti. Pacchimacetan± anantare attabh±ve. Ubhinna½ vemajjhacetan± yattha katthaci phala½ deti, tasm± vipaccanok±savasena vibhajitv± dassetu½ “diµµhadhammavedan²y± v±”ti-±di vutta½. Yasm± pana ta½ta½cetan±sampayutt± taºh±pi cetan± viya diµµhadhammavedan²y±divasena tidh± hoti, tasm± vutta½– “eva½ taºh± tividha½ phala½ det²”ti. Pubb±parena yujjat²ti ya½ pubba½ purima½ saªkh±r±na½ diµµhadhammavedan²yat±divacana½ vutta½, ta½ imin± aparena kammassa diµµhadhammavedan²yat±divacanena yujjati gaªgodaka½ viya yamunodakena sa½sandati samet²ti attho.
Saªkh±r± dassanabalen±ti cat³su diµµhigatasampayuttesu vicikicch±sampayutte c±ti pañcasu cittupp±desu saªkh±r± paµhamamaggapaññ±balena. Chatti½sa taºh±vicarit±ni bh±van±balen±ti paµhamamaggena pah²n±vasesavasena vutta½, na sabbesa½ vasena.

Yadipi atthato eka½, desan±ya pana viseso vijjat²ti dassetu½ “api c±”ti-±di vutta½. Evanti imin± vuttappak±rena. Sutten±ti sa½vaººiyam±nena suttena. Suttanti suttantara½. Sa½sandayitv±ti vimissitv± atthato abhinna½ katv±. Pubb±parena saddhi½ yojayitv±ti pubbena v± aparena v± suttena saddhi½ atthato sambandha½ yojetv±. Vuttamevattha½ p±kaµa½ karoti tena suttassa attho niddiµµho hoti vitth±rito suttantaradassanena.
Na kevala½ suttantarasa½sandanameva pubb±parasandhi, atha kho aññopi atth²ti dassetu½ “so c±yan”ti-±di vutta½. Tattha atthasandh²ti kiriy±k±rak±divasena atthassa sambandho. So pana yasm± saªk±san±d²na½ channa½ atthapad±na½yeva hoti, sabbass±pi padatthassa tadavarodhato.
Sambandho ca n±ma na koci attho. Tasm± “atthasandhi chappad±n²”ti-±di vutta½. Byañjanasandh²ti padassa padantarena sambandho. Yasm± pana sabbampi n±m±dipada½ chahi byañjanapadehi asaªgahita½ n±ma natthi, tasm± “byañjanasandhi chappad±n²”ti-±di vutta½.
Desan±sandh²ti yath±vuttadesanantarena desan±ya sa½sandana½. Na ca pathavi½ niss±y±ti pathavi½ visayasaªkh±ta½ nissaya½ katv±, pathavi½ ±lambitv±ti attho. Jh±y²ti phalasam±pattijh±nena jh±y². So hi sabbasaªkh±ranissaµa½ nibb±na½ ±lambitv± sam±pajjanavasena jh±yati, na pathavi½ niss±ya jh±yat²ti vutto. Sesapadesupi eseva nayo. Ettha ca cat³hi mah±bh³tehi r³pappaµibaddhavuttit±ya sabbo k±mabhavo r³pabhavo ca gahit±. Ar³pabhavo pana sar³peneva gahitoti sabba½ loka½ pariy±diyitv± puna aññenapi pariy±yena ta½ dassetu½ “na ca ima½ lokan”ti-±dim±ha. Sabbo hi loko idhaloko paraloko c±ti dveva koµµh±s± honti. Yasm± pana “idhaloko”ti visesato diµµhadhammabh³to sattasant±no vuccati. “Paraloko”ti bhavantarasaªkhepagato sattasant±no tadubhayavinimutto anindriyabaddho r³pasant±no. Tasm± ta½ sandh±ya “yamida½ ubhayamantaren±”ti-±di vutta½.
Ye pana “ubhayamantaren±”ti vacana½ gahetv± antar±bhava½ icchanti, tesa½ ta½ micch±. Antar±bhavo hi abhidhamme paµikkhittoti. Diµµhanti r³p±yatana½ Sutanti sadd±yatana½. Mutanti patv± gahetabbato gandh±yatana½ ras±yatana½ phoµµhabb±yatanañca. Viññ±tanti avasiµµha½ dhamm±rammaºapariy±pannar³pa½. Pattanti pariyesitv± v± apariyesitv± v± patta½. Pariyesitanti patta½ v± appatta½ v± pariyesita½. Vitakkita½ vic±ritanti vitakkanavasena anumajjanavasena ca ±lambita½. Manas±nucintitanti cittena anu anu cintita½. Anissitacitt± na ñ±yanti jh±yam±n±ti na kevala½ anup±dises±ya nibb±nadh±tuy± kh²º±savassa cittagati½ m±r±dayo na j±nanti, api ca kho sa-up±dises±yapi nibb±nadh±tuy± tassa ta½ na j±nant²ti attho. Aya½ desan±sandh²ti godhikasuttavakkalisutt±na½ viya suttant±na½ aññamañña-atthasa½sandan± desan±sandhi n±ma.
Niddesasandh²ti niddesassa sandhi niddesasandhi, niddesena v± sandhi niddesasandhi. Purimena suttassa niddesena tasseva pacchimassa niddesassa, pacchimena v± purimassa sambandhananti attho. Ta½ dassetu½ yasm± bhagav± yebhuyyena paµhama½ vaµµa½ dassetv± pacch± vivaµµa½ dasseti, tasm± “nissitacitt±”ti-±di vutta½. Yuñjatha buddhas±saneti yasm± s²lasa½varo indriyesu guttadv±rat± bhojane mattaññut± satisampajaññanti imesu dhammesu patiµµhit±na½ j±gariy±nuyogavasena ±rambhanikkamadh±tuyo sampajjanti, tasm± tath±bh³tasamathavipassan±saªkh±te bhagavato s±sane yuttappayutt± hotha.
