6. R±j± ±ha “bhante n±gasena, ko paµisandahat²”ti? Thero ±ha “n±mar³pa½ kho, mah±r±ja, paµisandahat²”ti. “Ki½ ima½ yeva n±mar³pa½ paµisandahat²”ti? “Na kho, mah±r±ja, ima½ yeva n±mar³pa½ paµisandahati, imin± pana, mah±r±ja, n±mar³pena kamma½ karoti sobhana½ v± p±paka½ v±, tena kammena añña½ n±mar³pa½ paµisandahat²”ti. “Yadi, bhante, na ima½ yeva n±mar³pa½ paµisandahati, nanu so mutto bhavissati p±pakehi kammeh²”ti? Thero ±ha “yadi na paµisandaheyya, mutto bhaveyya p±pakehi kammehi. Yasm± ca kho, mah±r±ja, paµisandahati, tasm± na mutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
“Opamma½ karoh²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kocideva puriso aññatarassa purisassa amba½ avahareyya, tamena½ ambas±miko gahetv± rañño dasseyya ‘imin± deva purisena mayha½ amb± avahaµ±’ti, so eva½ vadeyya ‘n±ha½, deva, imassa ambe avahar±mi, aññe te amb±, ye imin± ropit±, aññe te amb±, ye may± avahaµ±, n±ha½ daº¹appatto’ti. Ki½ nu kho so, mah±r±ja, puriso daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti? “¾ma, bhante, daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti. “Kena k±raºen±”ti? “Kiñc±pi so eva½ vadeyya, purima½, bhante, amba½ appaccakkh±ya pacchimena ambena so puriso daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, imin± n±mar³pena kamma½ karoti sobhana½ v± p±paka½ v±, tena kammena añña½ n±mar³pa½ paµisandahati, tasm± na mutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
“Bhiyyo opamma½ karoh²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kocideva puriso aññatarassa purisassa s±li½ avahareyya…pe… ucchu½ avahareyya…pe… yath± mah±r±ja koci puriso hemantak±le aggi½ j±letv± visibbetv± [vis²vetv± (s². p².)] avijjh±petv± pakkameyya, atha kho so aggi aññatarassa purisassa khetta½ ¹aheyya [upa¹aheyya (ka.)], tamena½ khettas±miko gahetv± rañño dasseyya ‘imin±, deva, purisena mayha½ khetta½ da¹¹han’ti. So eva½ vadeyya ‘n±ha½, deva, imassa khetta½ jh±pemi, añño so aggi, yo may± avijjh±pito, añño so aggi, yenimassa khetta½ da¹¹ha½, n±ha½ daº¹appatto’ti. Ki½ nu kho so, mah±r±ja, puriso daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti? “¾ma, bhante, daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti. “Kena k±raºen±”ti? “Kiñc±pi so eva½ vadeyya, purima½, bhante, aggi½ appaccakkh±ya pacchimena aggin± so puriso daº¹appatto bhaveyy±”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, imin± n±mar³pena kamma½ karoti sobhana½ v± p±paka½ v±, tena kammena añña½ n±mar³pa½ paµisandahati, tasm± na mutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
“Bhiyyo opamma½ karoh²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kocideva puriso pad²pa½ ±d±ya p±s±da½ abhir³hitv± bhuñjeyya, pad²po jh±yam±no tiºa½ jh±peyya, tiºa½ jh±yam±na½ ghara½ jh±peyya, ghara½ jh±yam±na½ g±ma½ jh±peyya, g±majano ta½ purisa½ gahetv± eva½ vadeyya ‘kissa tva½, bho purisa, g±ma½ jh±pes²’ti, so eva½ vadeyya ‘n±ha½, bho, g±ma½ jh±pemi, añño so pad²paggi, yass±ha½ ±lokena bhuñji½, añño so aggi, yena g±mo jh±pito’ti, te vivadam±n± tava santike ±gaccheyyu½, kassa tva½, mah±r±ja, aµµa½ [attha½ (s². p².)] dh±reyy±s²”ti? “G±majanassa bhante”ti. “Ki½ k±raº±”ti? “Kiñc±pi so eva½ vadeyya, api ca tato eva so aggi nibbatto”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, kiñc±pi añña½ m±raºantika½ n±mar³pa½, añña½ paµisandhismi½ n±mar³pa½, api ca tato yeva ta½ nibbatta½, tasm± na mutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
“Bhiyyo opamma½ karoh²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kocideva puriso dahari½ d±rika½ v±retv± suªka½ datv± pakkameyya. S± aparena samayena mahat² assa vayappatt±, tato añño puriso suªka½ datv± viv±ha½ kareyya, itaro ±gantv± eva½ vadeyya ‘kissa pana me tva½, ambho purisa, bhariya½ nes²’ti? So eva½ vadeyya ‘n±ha½ tava bhariya½ nemi, aññ± s± d±rik± dahar² taruº², y± tay± v±rit± ca dinnasuªk± ca, aññ±ya½ d±rik± mahat² vayappatt± may± v±rit± ca dinnasuªk± c±’ti, te vivadam±n± tava santike ±gaccheyyu½. Kassa tva½, mah±r±ja, aµµa½ dh±reyy±s²”ti? “Purimassa bhante”ti. “Ki½ k±raº±”ti? “Kiñc±pi so eva½ vadeyya, api ca tato yeva s± mahat² nibbatt±”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, kiñc±pi añña½ m±raºantika½ n±mar³pa½, añña½ paµisandhismi½ n±mar³pa½, api ca tato yeva ta½ nibbatta½, tasm± naparimutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
“Bhiyyo opamma½ karoh²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kocideva puriso gop±lakassa hatthato kh²raghaµa½ kiºitv± tasseva hatthe nikkhipitv± pakkameyya ‘sve gahetv± gamiss±m²’ti, ta½ aparajju dadhi sampajjeyya. So ±gantv± eva½ vadeyya ‘dehi me kh²raghaµan’ti. So dadhi½ dasseyya. Itaro eva½ vadeyya ‘n±ha½ tava hatthato dadhi½ kiº±mi, dehi me kh²raghaµan’ti. So eva½ vadeyya ‘aj±nato te kh²ra½ dadhibh³tan’ti te vivadam±n± tava santike ±gaccheyyu½, kassa tva½ mah±r±ja, aµµa½ dh±reyy±s²”ti? “Gop±lakassa bhante”ti. “Ki½ k±raº±”ti? “Kiñc±pi so eva½ vadeyya, api ca tato yeva ta½ nibbattan”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, kiñc±pi añña½ m±raºantika½ n±mar³pa½, añña½ paµisandhismi½ n±mar³pa½, api ca tato yeva ta½ nibbatta½, tasm± na parimutto p±pakehi kammeh²”ti.
