2. “Bhante n±gasena, ‘kukkuµassa pañca aªg±ni gahetabb±n²’ti ya½ vadesi, katam±ni t±ni pañca aªg±ni gahetabb±n²”ti? “Yath±, mah±r±ja, kukkuµo k±lena samayena paµisall²yati, evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yogin± yog±vacarena k±lena samayeneva cetiyaªgaºa½ sammajjitv± p±n²ya½ paribhojan²ya½ upaµµhapetv± sar²ra½ paµijaggitv± nah±yitv± cetiya½ vanditv± vu¹¹h±na½ bhikkh³na½ dassan±ya gantv± k±lena samayena suññ±g±ra½ pavisitabba½. Ida½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµassa paµhama½ aªga½ gahetabba½.
“Puna capara½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµo k±lena samayeneva vuµµh±ti. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yogin± yog±vacarena k±lena samayeneva vuµµhahitv± cetiyaªgaºa½ sammajjitv± p±n²ya½ paribhojan²ya½ upaµµhapetv± sar²ra½ paµijaggitv± cetiya½ vanditv± punadeva suññ±g±ra½ pavisitabba½. Ida½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµassa dutiya½ aªga½ gahetabba½.
“Puna capara½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµo pathavi½ khaºitv± khaºitv± ajjhoh±ra½ ajjhoharati. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yogin± yog±vacarena paccavekkhitv± paccavekkhitv± ajjhoh±ra½ ajjhoharitabba½ ‘neva dav±ya na mad±ya na maº¹an±ya na vibh³san±ya, y±vadeva imassa k±yassa µhitiy± y±pan±ya vihi½s³paratiy± brahmacariy±nuggah±ya, iti pur±ºañca vedana½ paµihaªkh±mi navañca vedana½ na upp±dess±mi, y±tr± ca me bhavissati anavajjat± ca ph±suvih±ro c±’ti. Ida½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµassa tatiya½ aªga½ gahetabba½. Bh±sitampeta½, mah±r±ja, bhagavat± dev±tidevena–
“‘Kant±re puttama½sa½va, akkhassabbhañjana½ yath±;
eva½ ±hari ±h±ra½, y±panatthamamucchito’ti.
“Puna capara½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµo sacakkhukopi ratti½ andho hoti. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yogin± yog±vacarena anandheneva andhena viya bhavitabba½, araññepi gocarag±me piº¹±ya carantenapi rajan²yesu r³pasaddagandharasaphoµµhabbadhammesu andhena badhirena m³gena viya bhavitabba½, na nimitta½ gahetabba½, n±nubyañjana½ gahetabba½. Ida½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµassa catuttha½ aªga½ gahetabba½. Bh±sitampeta½, mah±r±ja, therena mah±kacc±yanena–
‘Cakkhum±ssa yath± andho, sotav± badhiro yath±;
paññav±ssa [jivh±vassa (s². p².)] yath± m³go, balav± dubbaloriva;
atta-atthe [atha atthe (s². p².)] samuppanne, sayetha matas±yikan’ti.
“Puna capara½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµo le¹¹udaº¹alagu¼amuggarehi parip±tiyantopi saka½ geha½ na vijahati. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yogin± yog±vacarena c²varakamma½ karontenapi navakamma½ karontenapi vattappaµivatta½ karontenapi uddisantenapi uddis±pentenapi yoniso manasik±ro na vijahitabbo, saka½ kho paneta½, mah±r±ja, yogino geha½, yadida½ yoniso manasik±ro Ida½, mah±r±ja, kukkuµassa pañcama½ aªga½ gahetabba½ Bh±sitampeta½, mah±r±ja, bhagavat± dev±tidevena ‘ko ca, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno gocaro sako pettiko visayo? Yadida½ catt±ro satipaµµh±n±’ti. Bh±sitampeta½, mah±r±ja, therena s±riputtena dhammasen±patin±pi–
“‘Yath± sudanto m±taªgo, saka½ soº¹a½ na maddati;
bhakkh±bhakkha½ vij±n±ti, attano vuttikappana½.
“‘Tatheva buddhaputtena, appamattena v± pana;
jinavacana½ na madditabba½, manasik±ravaruttama”n’ti.
