7. “Bhante n±gasena, idha yo koci gih² p±r±jika½ ajjh±panno bhaveyya, so aparena samayena pabb±jeyya, attan±pi so na j±neyya ‘gihip±r±jika½ ajjh±pannosm²’ti, napi tassa añño koci ±cikkheyya ‘gihip±r±jika½ ajjh±pannos²’ti. So ca tathatt±ya paµipajjeyya, api nu tassa dhamm±bhisamayo bhaveyy±”ti? “Na hi, mah±r±j±”ti. “Kena, bhante, k±raºen±”ti? “Yo tassa hetu dhamm±bhisamay±ya, so tassa samucchinno, tasm± dhamm±bhisamayo na bhavat²”ti.
“Bhante n±gasena, tumhe bhaºatha ‘j±nantassa kukkucca½ hoti, kukkucce sati ±varaºa½ hoti, ±vaµe citte dhamm±bhisamayo na hot²’ti. Imassa pana aj±nantassa akukkuccaj±tassa santacittassa viharato kena k±raºena dhamm±bhisamayo na hoti, visamena visameneso pañho gacchati, cintetv± visajjeth±”ti.
“Ruhati mah±r±ja, sukaµµhe sukalale maº¹akhette s±rada½ sukhasayita½ b²jan”ti? “¾ma, bhante”ti. “Api nu, mah±r±ja, taññeva b²ja½ ghanaselasil±tale ruheyy±”ti? “Na hi, bhante”ti. “Kissa pana, mah±r±ja, taññeva b²ja½ kalale ruhati, kissa ghanasele na ruhat²”ti? “Natthi, bhante, tassa b²jassa ruhan±ya ghanasele hetu, ahetun± b²ja½ na ruhat²”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, yena hetun± tassa dhamm±bhisamayo bhaveyya, so tassa hetu samucchinno, ahetun± dhamm±bhisamayo na hoti.
“Yath± v± pana, mah±r±ja, daº¹ale¹¹ulagu¼amuggar± pathaviy± µh±namupagacchanti, api nu, mah±r±ja, te yeva daº¹ale¹¹ulagu¼amuggar± gagane µh±namupagacchant²”ti? “Na hi bhante”ti. “Ki½ panettha, mah±r±ja, k±raºa½, yena k±raºena te yeva daº¹ale¹¹ulagu¼amuggar± pathaviy± µh±namupagacchanti, kena k±raºena gagane na tiµµhant²”ti? “Natthi, bhante, tesa½ daº¹ale¹¹ulagu¼amuggar±na½ patiµµh±n±ya ±k±se hetu, ahetun± na tiµµhant²”ti “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, tassa tena dosena abhisamayahetu samucchinno, hetusamuggh±te ahetun± abhisamayo na hot²ti.
“Yath± v± pana, mah±r±ja, thale aggi jalati, api nu kho, mah±r±ja, so yeva aggi udake jalat²”ti? “Na hi, bhante”ti. “Ki½ panettha, mah±r±ja, k±raºa½, yena k±raºena so yeva aggi thale jalati, kena k±raºena udake na jalat²”ti? “Natthi, bhante, aggissa jalan±ya udake hetu, ahetun± na jalat²”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, tassa tena dosena abhisamayahetu samucchinno, hetusamuggh±te ahetun± dhamm±bhisamayo na hot²”ti.
“Bhante n±gasena, punapeta½ attha½ cintehi, na me tattha cittasaññatti bhavati, aj±nantassa asati kukkucce ±varaºa½ hot²ti, k±raºena ma½ saññ±peh²”ti. “Api nu, mah±r±ja, visa½ hal±hala½ aj±nantena kh±yita½ j²vita½ harat²”ti? “¾ma, bhante”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, aj±nantenapi kata½ p±pa½ abhisamayantar±yakara½ hoti.
“Api nu, mah±r±ja, aggi aj±nitv± akkamanta½ ¹ahat²”ti? “¾ma, bhante”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, aj±nantenapi kata½ p±pa½ abhisamayantar±yakara½ hoti.
“Api nu, mah±r±ja, aj±nanta½ ±s²viso ¹a½sitv± j²vita½ harat²”ti? “¾ma, bhante”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, aj±nantenapi kata½ p±pa½ abhisamayantar±yakara½ hoti.
“Nanu, mah±r±ja, k±liªgar±j± samaºakolañño sattaratanaparikiººo hatthiratanamabhiruyha kuladassan±ya gacchanto aj±nantopi n±sakkhi bodhimaº¹assa uparito gantu½, idamettha, mah±r±ja, k±raºa½, yena k±raºena aj±nantenapi kata½ p±pa½ abhisamayantar±yakara½ hot²”ti? “Jinabh±sita½ bhante n±gasena, k±raºa½ na sakk± paµikkositu½, esovetassa attho tath± sampaµicch±m²”ti.
