6. “Bhante n±gasena, tumhe bhaºatha ‘arah± eka½ vedana½ vedayati k±yika½, na cetasikan’ti. Ki½ nu kho, bhante n±gasena, arahato citta½ ya½ k±ya½ niss±ya pavattati, tattha arah± anissaro ass±m² avasavatt²”ti “¾ma, mah±r±j±”ti. “Na kho, bhante n±gasena, yuttameta½, ya½ so sakacittassa pavattam±ne k±ye anissaro hoti ass±m² avasavatt²; sakuºopi t±va, bhante, yasmi½ kul±vake paµivasati, tattha so issaro hoti s±m² vasavatt²”ti.
“Dasayime, mah±r±ja, k±y±nugat± dhamm± bhave bhave k±ya½ anudh±vanti anuparivattanti. Katame dasa? S²ta½ uºha½ jighacch± pip±s± ucc±ro pass±vo middha½ jar± by±dhi maraºa½. Ime kho, mah±r±ja, dasa k±y±nugat± dhamm± bhave bhave k±ya½ anudh±vanti anuparivattanti, tattha arah± anissaro ass±m² avasavatt²”ti.
“Bhante n±gasena, kena k±raºena arahato k±ye ±º± nappavattati issariya½ v±, tattha me k±raºa½ br³h²”ti? “Yath±, mah±r±ja, ye keci pathavinissit± satt±, sabbe te pathavi½ niss±ya caranti viharanti vutti½ kappenti, api nu kho, mah±r±ja, tesa½ pathaviy± ±º± pavattati issariya½ v±”ti? “Na hi, bhante”ti. “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, arahato citta½ k±ya½ niss±ya pavattati, na ca arahato k±ye ±º± pavattati issariya½ v±”ti.
“Bhante n±gasena, kena k±raºena puthujjano k±yikampi cetasikampi vedana½ vedayat²”ti? “Abh±vitatt±, mah±r±ja, cittassa puthujjano k±yikampi cetasikampi vedana½ vedayati. Yath±, mah±r±ja, goºo ch±to paritasito abaladubbalaparittakatiºesu v± lat±ya v± upanibaddho assa, yad± so goºo parikupito hoti, tad± saha upanibandhanena pakkamati. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, abh±vitacittassa vedan± uppajjitv± citta½ parikopeti, citta½ parikupita½ k±ya½ ±bhujati nibbhujati samparivattaka½ karoti. Atha kho so abh±vitacitto tasati ravati bheravar±vamabhiravati, idamettha, mah±r±ja, k±raºa½, yena k±raºena puthujjano k±yikampi cetasikampi vedana½ vedayat²”ti.
“Ki½ pana ta½ k±raºa½, yena k±raºena arah± eka½ vedana½ vedayati k±yika½, na cetasikan”ti? “Arahato, mah±r±ja, citta½ bh±vita½ hoti subh±vita½ danta½ sudanta½ assava½ vacanakara½, so dukkh±ya vedan±ya phuµµho sam±no ‘aniccan’ti da¼ha½ gaºh±ti, sam±dhithambhe citta½ upanibandhati, tassa ta½ citta½ sam±dhithambhe upanibandhana½ na vedhati na calati, µhita½ hoti avikkhitta½, tassa vedan±vik±ravipph±rena k±yo ±bhujati nibbhujati samparivattati, idamettha, mah±r±ja, k±raºa½, yena k±raºena arah± eka½ vedana½ vedayati k±yika½, na cetasikan”ti.
“Bhante n±gasena, ta½ n±ma loke acchariya½ ya½ k±ye calam±ne citta½ na calati, tattha me k±raºa½ br³h²”ti. “Yath±, mah±r±ja, mahatimah±rukkhe khandhas±kh±pal±sasampanne anilabalasam±hate s±kh± calati, api nu tassa khandhopi calat²”ti? “Na hi, bhante”ti “Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, arah± dukkh±ya vedan±ya phuµµho sam±no ‘aniccan’ti da¼ha½ gaºh±ti, sam±dhithambhe citta½ upanibandhati, tassa ta½ citta½ sam±dhithambhe upanibandhana½ na vedhati na calati, µhita½ hoti avikkhitta½, tassa vedan±vik±ravipph±rena k±yo ±bhujati nibbhujati samparivattati, citta½ pana tassa na vedhati na calati khandho viya mah±rukkhass±”ti. “Acchariya½, bhante n±gasena, abbhuta½, bhante n±gasena, na me evar³po sabbak±liko dhammapad²po diµµhapubbo”ti.
