Ya½ tattha parisuddha½ maºiratanassa, ta½ janassa h±sakara½ hoti. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, ye te jinas±sane pabbajitv± h²n±y±vattanti, kakkas± te jinas±sane papaµik±, na ca tesa½ h²n±y±vattanena jinas±sana½ h²¼ita½ n±ma hoti. Ye tattha µhit± bhikkh³, te devamanuss±na½ h±sajanak± honti.
“J±tisampannassapi, mah±r±ja, lohitacandanassa ekadesa½ p³tika½ hoti appagandha½. Na tena lohitacandana½ h²¼ita½ n±ma hoti. Ya½ tattha ap³tika½ sugandha½, ta½ samant± vidh³peti abhiby±peti. Evameva kho, mah±r±ja, ye te jinas±sane pabbajitv± h²n±y±vattanti, te lohitacandanas±rantare p³tikadesamiva cha¹¹an²y± jinas±sane, na ca tesa½ h²n±y±vattanena jinas±sana½ h²¼ita½ n±ma hoti. Ye tattha µhit± bhikkh³, te sadevaka½ loka½ s²lavaracandanagandhena anulimpayant²”ti.
