10. “Bhante n±gasena, bh±sitampeta½ bhagavat± ‘mama½ v±, bhikkhave, pare vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, dhammassa v±, saªghassa v± vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, tatra tumhehi na ±nando, na somanassa½, na cetaso uppil±vitatta½ karaº²yan’ti puna ca tath±gato selassa br±hmaºassa yath±bhucce vaººe bhaññam±ne ±nandito sumano uppil±vito bhiyyo uttari½ sakaguºa½ pakittesi–
“‘R±j±hamasmi sel±ti, dhammar±j± anuttaro;
dhammena cakka½ vattemi, cakka½ appaµivattiyan’ti [ma. ni. 2.399].
“Yadi, bhante n±gasena, bhagavat± bhaºita½ ‘mama½ v±, bhikkhave, pare vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, dhammassa v± saªghassa v± vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, tatra tumhehi na ±nando, na somanassa½, na cetaso uppil±vitatta½ karaº²yan’ti, tena hi selassa br±hmaºassa yath±bhucce vaººe bhaññam±ne ±nandito sumano uppil±vito bhiyyo uttari½ sakaguºa½ pakittes²ti ya½ vacana½, ta½ micch±. Yadi selassa br±hmaºassa yath±bhucce vaººe bhaññam±ne ±nandito sumano uppil±vito bhiyyo uttari½ sakaguºa½ pakittesi, tena hi ‘mama½ v±, bhikkhave, pare vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, dhammassa v± saªghassa v± vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, tatra tumhehi na ±nando, na somanassa½, na cetaso uppil±vitatta½ karaº²yan’ti tampi vacana½ micch±. Ayampi ubhato koµiko pañho tav±nuppatto, so tay± nibb±hitabbo”ti.

“‘R±j±hamasmi sel±ti, dhammar±j± anuttaro;

“Paµhama½, mah±r±ja, bhagavat± dhammassa sabh±vasarasalakkhaºa½ sabh±va½ avitatha½ bh³ta½ taccha½ tathattha½ parid²payam±nena bhaºita½ ‘mama½ v± bhikkhave, pare vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, dhammassa v± saªghassa v± vaººa½ bh±seyyu½, tatra tumhehi na ±nando, na somanassa½, na cetaso uppil±vitatta½ karaº²yan’ti. Ya½ pana bhagavat± selassa br±hmaºassa yath±bhucce vaººe bhaññam±ne bhiyyo uttari½ sakaguºa½ pakittita½ ‘r±j±hamasmi sel±ti, dhammar±j± anuttaro’ti ta½ na l±bhahetu, na yasahetu, na attahetu, na pakkhahetu, na antev±sikamyat±ya, atha kho anukamp±ya k±ruññena hitavasena eva½ imassa dhamm±bhisamayo bhavissati tiººañca m±ºavakasat±nanti, eva½ bhiyyo uttari½ sakaguºa½ bhaºita½ ‘r±j±hamasmi sel±ti, dhammar±j± anuttaro’ti. “S±dhu, bhante n±gasena, evameta½ tath± sampaµicch±m²”ti.
