Evañhi vuccam±ne “muccituk±massa muccitukamyat±”ti p±µho yujjati. Evañca sati “upp±da½ muñcitukamyat±”ti-±d²su “upp±d± muccitukamyat±”ti-±di vattabba½ hoti, tasm± purimo eva attho sundarataro. Athassa sabbasaªkh±resu vigat±layassa sabbasaªkh±ragata½ muñcituk±massa muñcitukamyat±ñ±ºa½ uppajjati. So eva½ sabbabhavayonigativiññ±ºaµµhitisatt±v±sagate sabhedake saªkh±re muñcituk±mo muñcanassa up±yasamp±danattha½ puna te eva saªkh±re paµisaªkh±nupassan±ñ±ºena tilakkhaºa½ ±ropetv± vipassati. Evañhi vipassato cassa aniccavasena nimitta½ paµisaªkh±ñ±ºa½ uppajjati, dukkhavasena pavatta½ paµisaªkh±ñ±ºa½ uppajjati, anattavasena nimittañca pavattañca paµisaªkh±ñ±ºa½ uppajjati. So paµisaªkh±nupassan±ñ±ºena “sabbe saªkh±r± suññ±”ti disv± tilakkhaºa½ ±ropetv± saªkh±re pariggaºhanto bhayañca nandiñca vippah±ya bhariy±ya dosa½ disv± vissaµµhabhariyo viya puriso tass± bhariy±ya saªkh±resu ud±s²no hoti majjhatto, “ahan”ti v± “maman”ti v± na gaºh±ti. Tassa eva½ j±nato eva½ passato t²su bhavesu citta½ patil²yati paµikuµati paµivattati na sampas±riyati. Seyyath±pi n±ma padumapal±se ²saka½ poºe udakaphusit±ni patil²yanti paµikuµanti paµivattanti na sampas±riyanti. Seyyath±pi v± pana kukkuµapatta½ v± nh±rudaddula½ v± aggimhi pakkhitta½ patil²yati paµikuµati paµivattati na sampas±riyati, eva½ tassa t²su bhavesu citta½ patil²yati paµikuµati paµivattati na sampas±riyati, upekkh± saºµh±ti. Evamassa saªkh±rupekkh±ñ±ºa½ uppanna½ hoti. Imin± saªkh±rupekkh±ñ±ºena saddhi½ upari gotrabhuñ±ºassa s±dhaka½ anulomañ±ºa½ pubb±parañ±ºehi avuttampi vuttameva hot²ti veditabba½. Vuttañhi bhagavat±–
“So vata, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kañci saªkh±ra½ niccato samanupassanto anulomik±ya khantiy± samann±gato bhavissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjati, anulomik±ya khantiy± asamann±gato sammattaniy±ma½ okkamissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjati, sammattaniy±ma½ anokkamam±no sot±pattiphala½ v± sakad±g±miphala½ v± an±g±miphala½ v± arahattaphala½ v± sacchikarissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjat²”ti-±di (a. ni. 6.98; paµi. ma. 3.36).

Vuttañca dhammasen±patin±–

“Katih±k±rehi anulomika½ khanti½ paµilabhati? Katih±k±rehi sammattaniy±ma½ okkamati? Catt±l²s±ya ±k±rehi anulomika½ khanti½ paµilabhati, catt±l²s±ya ±k±rehi sammattaniy±ma½ okkamat²”ti-±di (paµi. ma. 3.37).

Tassa hi ta½ saªkh±rupekkh±ñ±ºa½ ±sevantassa bh±ventassa bahul²karontassa adhimokkhasaddh± balavatar± hoti, v²riya½ supaggahita½, sati s³paµµhit±, citta½ susam±hita½, saªkh±rupekkh±ñ±ºa½ tikkhatara½ pavattati. Tassa id±ni maggo uppajjissat²ti saªkh±rupekkh±ya saªkh±re “anicc±”ti v± “dukkh±”ti v± “anatt±”ti v± sammasitv± bhavaªga½ otarati. Bhavaªg±nantara½ saªkh±rupekkh±ya katanayeneva saªkh±re “anicc±”ti v± “dukkh±”ti v± “anatt±”ti v± ±rammaºa½ kurum±na½ uppajjati manodv±r±vajjana½. Tadanantara½ tatheva saªkh±re ±rammaºa½ katv± dve t²ºi catt±ri v± javanacitt±ni uppajjanti. Ta½sampayutta½ ñ±ºa½ anulomañ±ºa½. Tañhi purim±nañca aµµhanna½ vipassan±ñ±º±na½ tathakiccat±ya anulometi, upari ca pattabb±na½ sattati½s±ya bodhipakkhiyadhamm±na½ anulometi. Yath± hi dhammiko r±j± vinicchayaµµh±ne nisinno aµµhanna½ voh±rikamah±matt±na½ vinicchaya½ sutv± agatigamana½ pah±ya majjhatto hutv± “eva½ hot³”ti anumodam±no tesañca vinicchayassa anulometi, por±ºassa ca r±jadhammassa. Tattha r±j± viya anulomañ±ºa½, aµµha voh±rikamah±matt± viya aµµha vipassan±ñ±º±ni, por±ºar±jadhammo viya sattati½sa bodhipakkhiyadhamm±, yath± r±j± “eva½ hot³”ti anumodam±no voh±rik±nañca vinicchayassa r±jadhammassa ca anulometi, evamida½ anicc±divasena saªkh±re ±rabbha uppajjam±n±na½ aµµhannañca vipassan±ñ±º±na½ tathakiccat±ya anulometi, upari ca pattabb±na½ sattati½s±ya bodhipakkhiyadhamm±na½. Tasm± anulomañ±ºanti vuccati.
10. Bahiddh± vuµµh±navivaµµane paññ± gotrabhuñ±ºanti ettha bahiddh±ti saªkh±ranimitta½. Tañhi ajjhattacittasant±ne akusalakkhandhe up±d±ya bahiddh±ti vutta½. Tasm± bahiddh± saªkh±ranimittamh± vuµµh±ti vigata½ hutv± uddha½ tiµµhat²ti vuµµh±na½, vivaµµati par±vaµµati parammukha½ hot²ti vivaµµana½, vuµµh±nañca ta½ vivaµµanañc±ti vuµµh±navivaµµana½. Tenev±ha–

11. Dubhato vuµµh±navivaµµane paññ± magge ñ±ºanti ettha dubhatoti ubhato, dvayatoti v± vutta½ hoti. Kiles±na½ samucchindanato kilesehi ca tadanuvattakakkhandhehi ca nibb±n±rammaºakaraºato bahiddh± sabbasaªkh±ranimittehi ca vuµµh±ti vivaµµat²ti dubhato vuµµh±navivaµµane paññ±. Tenev±ha–

anulomehullaªghiya, nibbutininno tad±sanopagato.

12. Payogappaµippassaddhipaññ± phale ñ±ºanti ettha payogoti bhuso yogo, phalasacchikiriy±ya maggabh±van±ya ubhato vuµµh±napayogo, tassa payogassa paµippassambhana½ niµµh±na½ payogapaµippassaddhi. Ki½ ta½? Catumaggakiccapariyos±na½. Tass± payogapaµippassaddhiy± hetubh³t±ya pavatt± phale paññ± payogappaµippassaddhipaññ±. Phalati vipaccat²ti phala½, tasmi½ phale ta½sampayutta½ ñ±ºa½. Yassa dve anulom±ni, tassa tatiya½ gotrabhu, catuttha½ maggacitta½, t²ºi phalacitt±ni honti. Yassa t²ºi anulom±ni, tassa catuttha½ gotrabhu, pañcama½ maggacitta½, dve phalacitt±ni honti. Yassa catt±ri anulom±ni, tassa pañcama½ gotrabhu, chaµµha½ maggacitta½, eka½ phalacitta½ hoti. Ida½ maggav²thiya½ phala½. K±lantaraphala½ pana sam±pattivasena uppajjam±na½ nirodh± vuµµhahantassa uppajjam±nañca eteneva saªgahita½.
13. Chinnavaµum±nupassane paññ±ti tena tena ariyamaggena samucchinna½ ta½ ta½ upakkilesa½ pacch± passane paññ±. Vimuttiñ±ºanti vimuttiy± ñ±ºa½. Vimutt²ti ca upakkilesehi vimutta½ parisuddha½ citta½, vimuttabh±vo v±. Tass± vimuttiy± j±nana½ ñ±ºa½ vimuttiñ±ºa½.
