Tattha paµisambhid±na½ maggoti tann±mavisesito c±ti vuttatt± paµisambhid±maggassa paµisambhid±maggat± t±va vattabb±. Catasso hi paµisambhid±– atthapaµisambhid±, dhammapaµisambhid±, niruttipaµisambhid±, paµibh±napaµisambhid±ti. T±sa½ paµisambhid±na½ maggo adhigam³p±yoti paµisambhid±maggo, paµisambhid±paµil±bhahet³ti vutta½ hoti. Kathamaya½ t±sa½ maggo hot²ti ce? Pabhedato desit±ya desan±ya paµisambhid±ñ±º±vahatt±. N±n±bhedabhinn±nañhi dhamm±na½ n±n±bhedabhinn± desan± sot³na½ ariyapuggal±na½ paµisambhid±ñ±ºappabhedañca sañjaneti, puthujjan±na½ ±yati½ paµisambhid±ñ±ºappabhed±ya ca paccayo hoti. Vuttañca– “pabhedato hi desan± ghanavinibbhogapaµisambhid±ñ±º±vah± hot²”ti (dha. sa. aµµha. 1.k±m±vacarakusalapadabh±jan²ya). Ayañca n±n±bhedabhinn± desan±, tenass± paµisambhid±na½ maggattasiddhi.
Tattha catassoti gaºanaparicchedo. Paµisambhid±ti pabhed±. “Atthe ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±, dhamme ñ±ºa½ dhammapaµisambhid±, tatra dhammanirutt±bhil±pe ñ±ºa½ niruttipaµisambhid±, ñ±ºesu ñ±ºa½ paµibh±napaµisambhid±”ti (vibha. 718) vuttatt± na aññassa kassaci pabhed±, ñ±ºasseva pabhed±. Tasm± “catasso paµisambhid±”ti catt±ro ñ±ºappabhed±ti attho. Atthappabhedassa sallakkhaºavibh±vanavavatth±nakaraºasamattha½ atthe pabhedagata½ ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±. Dhammappabhedassa sallakkhaºavibh±vanavavatth±nakaraºasamattha½ dhamme pabhedagata½ ñ±ºa½ dhammapaµisambhid±. Niruttippabhedassa sallakkhaºavibh±vanavavatth±nakaraºasamattha½ nirutt±bhil±pe pabhedagata½ ñ±ºa½ niruttipaµisambhid±. Tattha atthoti saªkhepato hetuphala½. Tañhi yasm± hetu-anus±rena ar²yati adhigam²yati p±puº²yati, tasm± atthoti vuccati. Pabhedato pana ya½kiñci paccayasamuppanna½, nibb±na½, bh±sitattho, vip±ko, kiriy±ti ime pañca dhamm± atthoti veditabb±. Ta½ attha½ paccavekkhantassa tasmi½ atthe pabhedagata½ ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±.
Dhammoti saªkhepato paccayo. So hi yasm± ta½ ta½ vidahati pavatteti ceva p±peti ca, tasm± dhammoti vuccati. Pabhedato pana yo koci phalanibbattako hetu, ariyamaggo, bh±sita½, kusala½, akusalanti ime pañca dhamm± dhammoti veditabb±. Ta½ dhamma½ paccavekkhantassa tasmi½ dhamme pabhedagata½ ñ±ºa½ dhammapaµisambhid±. Ayameva hi attho abhidhamme (vibha. 719-725)–

“Katame dhamm± kusal±? Paµisambhid±ppatto hi “phasso”ti vutte “aya½ sabh±vanirutt²”ti j±n±ti, “phass±”ti v± “phassan”ti v± vutte pana “aya½ na sabh±vanirutt²”ti j±n±ti. Vedan±d²supi eseva nayo. Añña½ panesa n±m±khy±ta-upasagganip±tabyañjanasadda½ j±n±ti na j±n±t²ti? Yadaggena sadda½ sutv± “aya½ sabh±vanirutti, aya½ na sabh±vanirutt²”ti j±n±ti, tadaggena tampi j±nissati. Niraye tiracch±nayoniya½ pettivisaye manussaloke devaloketi sabbattha m±gadhikabh±s±va ussann±. Tattha ses± oµµakir±ta-andhakayonakadami¼abh±s±dik± bh±s± parivattanti. Ayamevek± yath±bhuccabrahmavoh±ra-ariyavoh±rasaªkh±t± m±gadhikabh±s± na parivattati. Samm±sambuddhopi tepiµaka½ buddhavacana½ tanti½ ±ropento m±gadhikabh±s±ya eva ±ropesi. Kasm±? Evañhi attha½ ±haritu½ sukha½ hoti. Pariyatti n±ma buddhavacana½. Tañhi uggaºhantassa paµisambhid± visad± honti. Savana½ n±ma saddhammassavana½. Sakkacca½ aµµhi½ katv± dhamma½ suºantassa hi paµisambhid± visad± honti. Paripucch± n±ma p±¼i-aµµhakath±d²su gaºµhipada-atthapadavinicchayakath±. Uggahitap±¼i-±d²su hi attha½ paripucchantassa paµisambhid± visad± honti. Etesu pana k±raºesu pariyatti savana½ paripucch±ti im±ni t²ºi pabhedasseva balavak±raº±ni. Pubbayogo adhigamassa balavapaccayo, pabhedassa hoti na hot²ti? Hoti, na pana tath±. Pariyattisavanaparipucch± hi pubbe hontu v± m± v±, pubbayogena pana pubbe ceva etarahi ca saªkh±rasammasana½ vin± paµisambhid± n±ma natthi. Ime pana dvepi ekato hutv± paµisambhid± upatthambhetv± visad± karont²ti. Apare ±hu–

Paµisambhid±ppattiy± ca p±µiyekko kammaµµh±nabh±van±nuyogo n±ma natthi, sekkh±na½ pana sekkhaphalavimokkhantik±, asekkh±na½ asekkhaphalavimokkhantik± ca paµisambhid±ppatti hoti. Tath±gat±nañhi dasa bal±ni viya ariy±na½ ariyaphaleheva paµisambhid± ijjhant²ti. Dhammabhaº¹±g±rikattherena pana pañcasu µh±nesu etadagga½ ±ropitena paµiññ±t±na½ catur±s²tiy± dhammakkhandhasahass±na½ bhikkhuto gahitesu dv²su dhammakkhandhasahassesu anekasatadhammakkhandhasaªgahita½. Tassa tayo vagg±– mah±vaggo, majjhimavaggo, c³¼avaggoti. Ekekasmi½ vaggasmi½ dasadasaka½ katv± ñ±ºakath±dik± m±tik±kath±pariyos±n± samati½sa kath±. Evamanekadh± vavatth±pitassa imassa paµisambhid±maggappakaraºassa anupubba½ apubbapadatthavaººana½ kariss±ma. Tattha samati½s±ya kath±su ñ±ºakath± kasm± ±dito kathit±ti ce? ѱºassa paµipattimalavisodhakattena paµipattiy± ±dibh³tatt±. Vuttañhi bhagavat±–
“Tasm±tiha tva½ bhikkhu, ±dimeva visodhehi kusal±na½ dhamm±na½. Ko c±di kusal±na½ dhamm±na½, s²lañca suvisuddha½ diµµhi ca ujuk±”ti (sa½. ni. 5.369)?

Ujuk± diµµh²ti hi samm±diµµhisaªkh±ta½ ñ±ºa½ vutta½. Tasm±pi ñ±ºakath± ±dito kathit±.

“Tatra, bhikkhave, samm±diµµhi pubbaªgam± hoti. Kathañca, bhikkhave, samm±diµµhi pubbaªgam± hoti? Samm±diµµhi½ ‘samm±diµµh²’ti paj±n±ti, micch±diµµhi½ ‘micch±diµµh²’ti paj±n±ti. S±ssa hoti samm±diµµhi. Samm±saªkappa½ ‘samm±saªkappo’ti paj±n±ti, micch±saªkappa½ ‘micch±saªkappo’ti paj±n±ti. Samm±v±ca½ ‘samm±v±c±’ti paj±n±ti, micch±v±ca½ ‘micch±v±c±’ti paj±n±ti.
