evañca pana vatv± kum±ro pitu hatthato kudd±la½ gahetv± avid³re aññatara½ ±v±µa½ khaºitu½ ±rabhi; atha na½ pit± upasaªkamitv± “kasm±, t±ta, ±v±µa½ khaºas²”ti pucchi; so tassa kathento tatiya½ g±tham±ha–
“may±pi t±ta paµilacchase tuva½, et±disa½ kamma jar³pan²to;
ta½ kullavatta½ anuvattam±no, ahampi ta½ nikhaºiss±mi sobbhe”ti.
Tassattho– t±ta, ahampi etasmi½ sobbhe ta½ mahallakak±le nikhaºiss±mi, iti kho t±ta, may±pi kate imasmi½ sobbhe tuva½ jar³pan²to et±disa½ kamma½ paµilacchase, ya½ eta½ tay± pavattita½ kulavatta½, ta½ anuvattam±no vayappatto bhariy±ya saddhi½ vasanto ahampi ta½ nikhaºiss±mi sobbheti.

k±yassa bhed± abhisampar±ya½, asa½saya½ so niraya½ upeti.
88. “Yo m±tara½ v± pitara½ saviµµha, annena p±nena upaµµhah±ti;
k±yassa bhed± abhisampar±ya½, asa½saya½ so sugati½ upet²”ti.–
