So ekadivasa½ m±ºavake ±mantetv± “t±t±, mayha½ dh²t± vayappatt±, viv±hamass± k±ress±mi, vatth±laªk±ra½ laddhu½ vaµµati, gacchatha tumhe attano attano ñ±tak±na½ apassant±naññeva thenetv± vatth±laªk±re ±haratha, kenaci adiµµhameva gaºh±mi, dassetv± ±bhata½ na gaºh±m²”ti ±ha. ¾cariyo tassa pas²ditv± “t±ta, na mayha½ gehe dhana½ natthi, aha½ pana s²lasampannassa dh²tara½ d±tuk±mo ime m±ºavake v²ma½santo evamak±si½, mama dh²t± tuyhameva anucchavik±”ti dh²tara½ alaªkaritv± bodhisattassa ad±si. Sesam±ºavake “tumhehi ±bhat±bhata½ tumh±ka½ gehameva neth±”ti ±ha.
Satth± “iti kho, bhikkhave, te duss²lam±ºavak± attano duss²lat±ya ta½ itthi½ na labhi½su, itaro paº¹itam±ºavo s²lasampannat±ya labh²”ti vatv± abhisambuddho hutv± itar± dve g±th± abh±si–
19. “Dujjacco ca sujacco ca, nando ca sukhava¹¹hito;
vajjo ca addhuvas²lo ca, te dhamma½ jahumatthik±.
20. “Br±hmaºo ca katha½ jahe, sabbadhamm±na p±rag³;
yo dhammamanup±leti, dhitim± saccanikkamo”ti.
Tattha dujjaccoti-±dayo cha jeµµhakam±ºav±, tesa½ n±ma½ gaºhi, avases±na½ n±ma½ aggahetv± sabbasaªg±hikavaseneva “te dhamma½ jahumatthik±”ti ±ha. Tattha teti sabbepi te m±ºav±. Dhammanti itthipaµil±bhasabh±va½ Jahumatthik±ti jahu½ atthik±, ayameva v± p±µho. Mak±ro padabyañjanasandhivasena vutto. Ida½ vutta½ hoti– sabbepi te m±ºav± t±ya itthiy± atthik±va hutv± attano duss²lat±ya ta½ itthipaµil±bhasabh±va½ jahi½su.
Br±hmaºo c±ti itaro pana s²lasampanno br±hmaºo. Katha½ jaheti kena k±raºena ta½ itthipaµil±bhasabh±va½ jahissati. Sabbadhamm±nanti imasmi½ µh±ne lokiy±ni pañca s²l±ni, dasa s²l±ni, t²ºi sucarit±ni ca, sabbadhamm± n±ma, tesa½ so p±ra½ gatoti p±rag³. Dhammanti vuttappak±rameva dhamma½ yo anup±leti rakkhati. Dhitim±ti s²larakkhanadhitiy± samann±gato. Saccanikkamoti sacce sabh±vabh³te yath±vutte s²ladhamme nikkamena samann±gato.
Satth± ima½ dhammadesana½ ±haritv± sacc±ni pak±setv± j±taka½ samodh±nesi, saccapariyos±ne t±ni pañca bhikkhusat±ni arahatte patiµµhahi½su.
Tad± ±cariyo s±riputto ahosi, paº¹itam±ºavo pana ahameva ahosinti.
