Bodhisatto “na mayha½ ghar±v±senattho, aha½ tumh±ka½ accayena pabbajiss±m²”ti vatv± tehi punappuna½ y±cito eka½ kañcanar³paka½ k±retv± “evar³pa½ kum±rika½ labham±no gaºhiss±m²”ti ±ha. Tassa m±t±pitaro ta½ kañcanar³paka½ paµicchannay±ne ±ropetv± “gacchatha jambud²patala½ vicarant± yattha evar³pa½ br±hmaºakum±rika½ passatha, tattha ima½ kañcanar³paka½ datv± ta½ ±neth±”ti mahantena pariv±rena manusse pesesu½.

Manuss± ta½ sutv± br±hmaºakula½ gantv± sammillah±sini½ v±resu½. S± “aha½ tumh±ka½ accayena pabbajiss±mi, na me ghar±v±senattho”ti m±t±pit³na½ s±sana½ pesesi. Te “ki½ karosi kum±rike”ti vatv± kañcanar³paka½ gahetv± ta½ mahantena pariv±rena pesayi½su. Bodhisattassa ca sammillah±siniy± ca ubhinnampi anicchant±naññeva maªgala½ kari½su. Te ekagabbhe vasam±n± ekasmi½ sayane sayant±pi na aññamañña½ kilesavasena olokayi½su, dve bhikkh³ dve br±hm±no viya ca ekasmi½ µh±ne vasi½su.
Aparabh±ge bodhisattassa m±t±pitaro k±lamaka½su. So tesa½ sar²rakicca½ katv± sammillah±sini½ pakkos±petv± “bhadde, mama kulasantak± as²tikoµiyo, tava kulasantak± as²tikoµiyoti ima½ ettaka½ dhana½ gahetv± ima½ kuµumba½ paµipajj±hi, aha½ pabbajiss±m²”ti ±ha. “Ayyaputta, tayi pabbajante ahampi pabbajiss±mi, na sakkomi ta½ jahitun”ti “Tena hi eh²”ti sabba½ dhana½ d±namukhe vissajjetv± khe¼apiº¹a½ viya sampatti½ pah±ya himavanta½ pavisitv± ubhopi t±pasapabbajja½ pabbajitv± vanam³laphal±h±r± tattha cira½ vasitv± loºambilasevanatth±ya himavant± otaritv± anupubbena b±r±ºasi½ patv± r±juyy±ne vasi½su.

Bodhisatto bhikkha½ caritv± ±gato tass± matabh±va½ ñatv± “bhijjanadhamma½ bhijjati, sabbe saªkh±r± anicc± eva½gatik±yev±”ti vatv± t±ya nipannaphalakeyeva nis²ditv± missakabhojana½ bhuñjitv± mukha½ vikkh±lesi. Pariv±retv± µhitamah±jano “aya½ te, bhante, paribb±jik± ki½ hot²”ti pucchi. “Gihik±le me p±daparic±rik± ahos²”ti. “Bhante, maya½ t±va na saºµh±ma rod±ma paridev±ma, tumhe kasm± na rodath±”ti? Bodhisatto “j²vam±n± t±va es± mama kiñci hoti, id±ni paralokasamaªgit±ya na kiñci hoti, maraºavasa½ gat±, aha½ kissa rod±m²”ti mah±janassa dhamma½ desento im± g±th± abh±si–

tasm± eta½ na soc±mi, piya½ sammillah±sini½.
110. “Ta½ ta½ ce anusoceyya, ya½ ya½ tassa na vijjati;
att±namanusoceyya, sad± maccuvasa½ pata½.
111. “Na heva µhita½ n±s²na½, na say±na½ na paddhagu½;
y±va by±ti nimisati, tatr±pi rasat² vayo.
112. “Tatthattani vatappaddhe, vin±bh±ve asa½saye;
bh³ta½ sesa½ dayitabba½, v²ta½ ananusociyan”ti.
Tattha bah³na½ vijjat² bhot²ti aya½ bhot² amhe cha¹¹etv± id±ni aññesa½ bah³na½ matakasatt±na½ antare vijjati atthi upalabbhati. Tehi me ki½ bhavissat²ti tehi matakasattehi saddhi½ vattam±n± id±neves± mayha½ ki½ bhavissati tehi v± matakasattehi atirekasambandhavasenes± mayha½ ki½ bhavissati, k± n±ma bhavissati, ki½ bhariy±, ud±hu bhagin²ti? “Tehi mekan”tipi p±µho, tehi matakehi saddhi½ idampi me ka¼evara½ eka½ bhavissat²ti attho. Ayañhi tasmi½ k±le voh±ro. Ida½ vutta½ hoti– y±va ummisati ca nimisati ca, tatr±pi eva½ appamattake k±le imesa½ satt±na½ rasat² vayo, t²su vayesu so so vayo h±yateva na va¹¹hat²ti.
Tatthattani vatappaddheti tattha vata attani paddhe. Satth± ima½ dhammadesana½ ±haritv± sacc±ni pak±setv± j±taka½ samodh±nesi, saccapariyos±ne kuµumbiko sot±pattiphale patiµµhahi. Tad± sammillah±sin² r±hulam±t± ahosi, t±paso pana ahameva ahosinti.
