Punekadivasa½ rañño uyy±na½ ±gatak±le tatheva puna tathev±ti eva½ y±citu½ asakkontasseva dv±dasa sa½vacchar±ni atikkant±ni. Tato r±j± cintesi “mayha½ ayyo ‘mah±r±ja, raho pacc±s²s±m²’ti vatv± paris±ya apagat±ya kiñci vattu½ na visahati, vattuk±massevassa dv±dasa vass±ni atikkant±ni, cira½ kho panassa brahmacariya½ carantassa ukkaºµhitv± bhoge bhuñjituk±mo rajja½ pacc±s²sati maññe, rajjassa pana n±ma½ gahetu½ asakkonto tuºh² hoti, ajja d±niss±ha½ rajja½ ±di½ katv± ya½ icchati, ta½ dass±m²”ti. Tattha r±ja brahmadatt±ti dv²hipi r±j±na½ ±lapati. Nigacchat²ti labhati vindati. Eva½dhamm±ti eva½sabh±v±. ¾h³ti paº¹it± kathenti. Pañc±l±na½ rathesabh±ti pañc±laraµµhassa issara rathapavara. Yo y±cana½ paccakkh±t²ti yo pana ya½ y±canaka½ “natth²”ti paµikkhipati. Tam±h³ti ta½ paµikkhipana½ “paµirodanan”ti vadanti. M± maddasa½s³ti tava raµµhav±sino pañc±l± susam±gat± ma½ rodanta½ m± addasa½s³ti.

ariyo hi ariyassa katha½ na dajj±, sutv±na g±th± tava dhammayutt±”ti.
Tattha rohiº²nanti rattavaºº±na½. Ariyoti ±c±rasampanno. Ariyass±ti ±c±rasampannassa. Katha½ na dajj±ti kena k±raºena na dadeyya. Dhammayutt±ti k±raºayutt±.
Bodhisatto pana “n±ha½, mah±r±ja, vatthuk±mehi atthiko, ya½ aha½ y±c±mi, tadeva me deh²”ti ekapaµalik± up±han± ca paººacchattañca gahetv± “mah±r±ja, appamatto hohi, d±na½ dehi, s²la½ rakkh±hi, uposathakamma½ karoh²”ti r±j±na½ ovaditv± tassa y±cantasseva himavantameva gato. Tattha abhiññ± ca sam±pattiyo ca nibbattetv± brahmalokapar±yaºo ahosi.
Satth± ima½ dhammadesana½ ±haritv± j±taka½ samodh±nesi– “tad± r±j± ±nando ahosi, t±paso pana ahameva ahosin”ti.
