S± cintesi “pit± kirassa atthi, sace ma½ so passissati, k±jakoµiy± ma½ pothetv± vin±sa½ p±pessati, may± paµhamameva gantabban”ti. Atha na½ s± “tena hi aha½ maggasañña½ kurum±n± paµhamatara½ gamiss±mi, tva½ pacch± ±gacch±h²”ti vatv± agam±si. Atha na½ t±pasakum±ro “t±ta, araññe kira rakkhitas²la½ n±ma na mahapphala½ hoti, manussapathe mahapphala½ aha½ tattha gantv± s²la½ rakkhiss±mi, sah±yo me ma½ ‘±gaccheyy±s²’ti vatv± purato gato, aha½ teneva saddhi½ gamiss±mi, tattha pana vasantena may± kataro puriso sevitabbo”ti pucchanto dutiya½ g±tham±ha–

t±disa½ t±ta m± sevi, nimmanussampi ce siy±.
84. “¾s²visa½va kupita½, m²¼halitta½ mah±patha½;
±rak± parivajjehi, y±n²va visama½ patha½.
85. “Anatth± t±ta va¹¹hanti, b±la½ accupasevato;
m±ssu b±lena sa½gacchi, amitteneva sabbad±.
86. “Ta½ t±ha½ t±ta y±c±mi, karassu vacana½ mama;
m±ssu b±lena sa½gacchi, dukkho b±lehi saªgamo”ti.
Tattha yo te viss±sayeti yo tava viss±seyya. Khameyya teti yo ca tava attani tay± kata½ viss±sa½ khameyya. Suss³s² ca titikkh² c±ti tava vacana½ suss³s±ya ceva vacan±dhiv±sanena ca samann±gato bhaveyy±ti attho. Uras²va patiµµh±y±ti yath± m±tu urasi putto patiµµh±ti, eva½ patiµµhahitv± attano m±tara½ viya maññam±no ta½ bhajeyy±s²ti vadati. Yo ca dhammena carat²ti yo tividhena sucaritena dhammena iriyati. Na maññat²ti tath± carantopi “aha½ dhamma½ car±m²”ti m±na½ na karoti. Visuddhak±rinti visuddh±na½ dasakusalakammapath±na½ k±raka½.
R±gavir±ginanti r±ginañca vir±ginañca rajjitv± ta½khaºaññeva virajjanasabh±va½. Nimmanussampi ce siy±ti sacepi sakalajambud²patala½ nimmanussa½ hoti, soyeva eko manusso tiµµhati, tath±pi t±disa½ m± sevi. Mah±pathanti g³thamakkhita½ magga½ viya. Y±n²v±ti y±nena gacchanto viya. Visamanti ninna-unnatakh±ºup±s±º±divisama½. B±la½ accupasevatoti b±la½ appañña½ atisevantassa. Sabbad±ti t±ta, b±lena saha sa½v±so n±ma amittasa½v±so viya sabbad± niccak±lameva dukkho. Ta½ t±hanti tena k±raºena ta½ aha½.
So eva½ pitar± ovadito “t±ta, aha½ manussapatha½ gantv± tumh±dise paº¹ite na labhiss±mi, tattha gantu½ bh±y±mi, idheva tumh±ka½ santike vasiss±m²”ti ±ha. Athassa bhiyyopi ov±da½ datv± kasiºaparikamma½ ±cikkhi. So na cirasseva abhiññ±sam±pattiyo nibbattetv± saddhi½ pitar± brahmalokapar±yaºo ahosi.
Satth± ima½ dhammadesana½ ±haritv± sacc±ni pak±setv± j±taka½ samodh±nesi, saccapariyos±ne ukkaºµhitabhikkhu sot±pattiphale patiµµhahi.
Tad± t±pasakum±ro ukkaºµhitabhikkhu ahosi, kum±rik± thullakum±rik±va, pit± t±paso pana ahameva ahosinti.
