Paccekabuddho katip±ha½ tattha vasitv± s±ya½ s³riye atthaªgate ta½ uyy±na½ pacc±gami. Sumaªgalo tassa ±gatabh±va½ aj±nanto attano geha½ agam±si. Paccekabuddhopi pattac²vara½ paµis±metv± thoka½ caªkamitv± p±s±ºaphalake nis²di. Ta½ divasa½ pana uyy±nap±lassa ghara½ p±hunak± ±gami½su. R±j± ta½ pakkos±petv± paµisanth±ra½ katv± “sumaªgala, kasm± tay± mama puññakkhetta½ paccekabuddho m±rito”ti pucchi. So “n±ha½, deva, ‘paccekabuddha½ m±rem²’ti m±resi½, apica kho imin± n±ma k±raºena ida½ n±ma ak±sin”ti ta½ pavatti½ ±cikkhi. Atha na½ r±j± “tena hi m± bh±y²”ti samass±setv± puna uyy±nap±lameva ak±si.

tad±yamatthoti saya½ avekkhiya, athassa daº¹a½ sadisa½ nivesaye.
29. “Na c±pi jh±peti para½ na attana½, amucchito yo nayate nay±naya½;
yo daº¹adh±ro bhavat²dha issaro, sa vaººagutto siriy± na dha½sati.
30. “Ye khattiy± se anisammak±rino, paºenti daº¹a½ sahas± pamucchit±;
avaººasa½yut± jahanti j²vita½, ito vimutt±pi ca yanti duggati½.
31. “Dhamme ca ye ariyappavedite rat±, anuttar± te vacas± manas± kammun± ca;
te santisoraccasam±dhisaºµhit±, vajanti loka½ dubhaya½ tath±vidh±.
32. “R±j±hamasmi narapamad±namissaro, sacepi kujjh±mi µhapemi attana½;
nisedhayanto janata½ tath±vidha½, paºemi daº¹a½ anukampa yoniso”ti.
