“Tiµµhante nibbute c±pi, same citte sama½ phala½;

Dhanadhaññanti mutt±didhanañca satta dhaññ±ni ca. Pathav² ca keval±ti sakal± ces± mah±pathav²ti sakalapathavi½ hatthagata½ maññam±no vadati. Passa phala½ kumm±sapiº¹iy±ti attano d±naphala½ attan±va dassento evam±ha. D±naphala½ kira bodhisatt± ca sabbaññubuddh±yeva ca j±nanti. Teneva satth± itivuttake suttanta½ kathento–
“Evañce, bhikkhave, satt± j±neyyu½ d±nasa½vibh±gassa vip±ka½, yath±ha½ j±n±mi, na adatv± bhuñjeyyu½, na ca nesa½ maccheramala½ citta½ pariy±d±ya tiµµheyya. Yopi nesa½ assa carimo ±lopo carima½ kaba¼a½, tatopi na asa½vibhajitv± bhuñjeyyu½, sace nesa½ paµigg±hak± assu. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, satt± na eva½ j±nanti d±nasa½vibh±gassa vip±ka½, yath±ha½ j±n±mi, tasm± adatv± bhuñjanti, maccheramalañca nesa½ citta½ pariy±d±ya tiµµhat²”ti (itivu. 26).
Bodhisattopi attano chattamaªgaladivase sañj±tap²tip±mojjo im±hi dv²hi g±th±hi ud±nag²ta½ g±yi. Tato paµµh±ya “rañño piyag²tan”ti bodhisattassa n±µakitthiyo ca sesan±µakagandhabb±dayopi ca antepurajanopi antonagarav±sinopi bahinagarav±sinopi p±n±g±resupi amaccamaº¹alesupi “amh±ka½ rañño piyag²tan”ti tadeva g²ta½ g±yanti. Eva½ addh±ne gate aggamahes² tassa g²tassa attha½ j±nituk±m± ahosi, mah±satta½ pana pucchitu½ na visahati. Athass± ekasmi½ guºe pas²ditv± ekadivasa½ r±j± “bhadde, vara½ te dass±mi, vara½ gaºh±h²”ti ±ha. “S±dhu, deva, gaºh±m²”ti. “Hatthi-ass±d²su te ki½ damm²”ti? “Deva, tumhe niss±ya mayha½ na kiñci natthi, na me etehi attho, sace pana d±tuk±m±ttha, tumh±ka½ g²tassa attha½ kathetv± deth±”ti. “Bhadde, ko te imin± varena attho, añña½ gaºh±h²”ti. “Deva, aññena me attho natthi, etadeva gaºh±m²”ti. “S±dhu bhadde, kathess±mi, tuyha½ pana ekik±ya raho na kathess±mi, dv±dasayojanik±ya b±r±ºasiy± bheri½ car±petv± r±jadv±re ratanamaº¹apa½ k±retv± ratanapallaªka½ paññ±petv± amaccabr±hmaº±d²hi ca n±garehi ceva so¼asahi itthisahassehi ca parivuto tesa½ majjhe ratanapallaªke nis²ditv± kathess±m²”ti. Evañca mah±sattassa attano kammaphala½ vitth±retv± kathentassa sutv± dev² pasannaman± “sace, mah±r±ja, eva½ paccakkhato d±naphala½ j±n±tha, ito d±ni paµµh±ya eka½ bhattapiº¹a½ labhitv± dhammikasamaºabr±hmaº±na½ datv±va paribhuñjeyy±th±”ti bodhisattassa thuti½ karont²–

Tattha dada½ bhuñj±ti aññesa½ datv±va attan± bhuñja. M± ca pam±doti d±n±d²su puññesu m± pamajji. Cakka½ vattaya kosal±dhip±ti kusalajjh±saya, mah±r±ja, patir³padesav±s±dika½ catubbidha½ dhammacakka½ pavattehi. Pakatiratho hi dv²hi cakkehi gacchati, aya½ pana k±yo imehi cat³hi cakkehi devaloka½ gacchati, tena te “dhammacakkan”ti saªkhya½ gat±, ta½ tva½ cakka½ pavattehi. Adhammikoti yath± aññe chand±gati½ gacchant± loka½ ucchuyante p²¼etv± viya dhanameva sa½ka¹¹hant± adhammik± honti, tath± tva½ m± adhammiko ahu. Dhamma½ p±lay±ti–

Arahantoti kilesehi ±rakatt±, ar±nañca ar²nañca hatatt±, paccay±na½ arahatt± eva½laddhan±m± paccekabuddh±. Ida½ vutta½ hoti– bhadde, kosalar±jadh²te so aha½ “d±na½ me dinnan”ti titti½ akatv± punappuna½ tadeva ariy±carita½ d±namagga½ ±cariss±mi. Mayhañhi aggadakkhiºeyyatt± arahanto man±padassan±, c²var±d²ni d±tuk±mat±ya teyeva passitu½ icch±m²ti.
Evañca pana vatv± r±j± deviy± sampatti½ oloketv± “bhadde, may± t±va purimabhave attano kusalakamma½ vitth±retv± kathita½, im±sa½ pana n±r²na½ majjhe r³pena v± l²¼±vil±sena v± tay± sadis² ek±pi natthi, s± tva½ ki½ kamma½ katv± ima½ sampatti½ paµilabh²”ti pucchanto puna g±tham±ha–
