So tena puńńakammena devesu nibbattitv± apar±para½ puńń±ni katv± sugat²suyeva sa½saranto imasmi½ buddhupp±de s±vatthiya½ br±hmaŗakule nibbattitv± abhayoti laddhan±mo vińńuta½ patto hetusampattiy± codiyam±no ekadivasa½ vih±ra½ gato satthu dhammadesana½ sutv± paµiladdhasaddho pabbajitv± katapubbakicco vipassan±ya kamma½ karonto viharati. Athassa ekadivasa½ g±ma½ piŗ¹±ya paviµµhassa alaŖkatapaµiyatta½ m±tug±ma½ disv± ayonisomanasik±ravasena tassa r³pa½ ±rabbha chandar±go uppajji, so vih±ra½ pavisitv± “sati½ vissajjitv± olokentassa r³p±rammaŗe mayha½ kileso uppanno, ayutta½ may± katan”ti attano citta½ niggaŗhanto t±vadeva vipassana½ va¹¹hetv± arahatta½ p±puŗi. Tena vutta½ apad±ne (apa. thera 1.15.43-47)–
“Sumedho n±ma n±mena, sayambh³ apar±jito;
vivekamanubr³hanto, ajjhogahi mah±vana½.
“Sa¼ala½ pupphita½ disv±, ganthitv±na vaµa½saka½;
buddhassa abhiropesi½, sammukh± lokan±yaka½.
“Ti½sakappasahassamhi, ya½ pupphamabhiropayi½;
duggati½ n±bhij±n±mi, buddhap³j±yida½ phala½.
“Šnav²se kappasate, so¼as±su½ sunimmit±;
sattaratanasampann±, cakkavatt² mahabbal±.
“Kiles± jh±pit± mayha½…pe… kata½ buddhassa s±sanan”ti;
arahatta½ pana patv± attano kilesuppattinidassanena “kilese anuvattentassa vaµµadukkhato nattheva s²sukkhipana½; aha½ pana te n±nuvattin”ti dassento–

s±rattacitto vedeti, tańca ajjhosa tiµµhati.

Tattha r³panti rajjan²ya½ r³p±yatana½, ta½ panettha itthir³pa½ adhippeta½. Disv±ti cakkhun± disv±, cakkhudv±r±nus±rena nimitt±nubyańjanasallakkhaŗavasena ta½ gahetv±, tassa tath±gahaŗahet³ti attho. Sati muµµh±ti asubhasabh±ve k±ye “asubhan”tveva pavattanasati naµµh±. Yath± pana r³pa½ disv± sati naµµh±, ta½ dassento ±ha “piya½ nimitta½ manasikaroto”ti. Yath±-upaµµhita½ ±rammaŗa½ “subha½ sukhan”ti-±din± piyanimitta½ katv± ayonisomanasik±rena manasikaroto sati muµµh±ti yojan±. Tath± bh³tova s±rattacitto vedet²ti suµµhu rattacitto hutv± ta½ r³p±rammaŗa½ anubhavati abhinandati, abhinandanto pana tańca ajjhosa tiµµhati ajjhos±ya ta½ ±rammaŗa½ gilitv± pariniµµhapetv± vattati ceva, eva½bh³tassa ca tassa va¹¹hanti ±sav± bhavam³lopag±minoti bhavassa sa½s±rassa m³labh±va½ k±raŗabh±va½ upagamanasabh±v± k±m±sav±dayo catt±ropi ±sav± tassa puggalassa upar³pari va¹¹hantiyeva, na h±yanti. Mayha½ pana paµisaŖkh±ne µhatv± vipassana½ va¹¹hetv± sacc±ni paµivijjhantassa maggapaµip±µiy± te catt±ropi ±sav± anavasesato pah²n± parikkh²ŗ±ti adhipp±yo.
