So tena puññakammena yattha yattha bhave nibbatti, tattha tattha kular³papariv±rasampad±ya aññe satte abhibhavitv± aµµh±si. Ekasmi½ pana attabh±ve aññatara½ paccekabuddha½ piº¹±ya caranta½ disv± “aya½ muº¹ako kuµµh² maññe, ten±ya½ paµicch±detv± vicarat²”ti niµµhubhitv± pakk±mi. So tena kammena bahu½ k±la½ niraye paccitv± kassapassa bhagavato k±le manussaloke nibbatto paribb±jakapabbajja½ upagato eka½ s²l±c±rasampanna½ up±saka½ disv± dosantaro hutv±, “kuµµharog² bhaveyy±s²”ti akkosi, nh±natitthe ca manussehi µhapit±ni nh±nacuºº±ni d³sesi. So tena kammena puna niraye nibbattitv± bah³ni vass±ni dukkha½ anubhavitv± imasmi½ buddhupp±de s±vatthiya½ aññatarassa br±hmaºassa putto hutv± nibbatti, samitiguttotissa n±ma½ ahosi. So vayappatto satthu dhammadesana½ sutv± paµiladdhasaddho pabbajitv± suvisuddhas²lo hutv± viharati. Tassa purimakammanissandena kuµµharogo uppajji, tena tassa sar²r±vayav± yebhuyyena chinnabhinn± hutv± paggharanti. So gil±nas±l±ya½ vasati. Athekadivasa½ dhammasen±pati gil±napuccha½ gantv± tattha tattha gil±ne bhikkh³ pucchanto ta½ bhikkhu½ disv± “±vuso, y±vat± khandhappavatti n±ma, sabba½ dukkhameva vedan±. Khandhesu pana asantesuyeva natthi dukkhan”ti vedan±nupassan±kammaµµh±na½ kathetv± agam±si. So therassa ov±de µhatv± vipassana½ va¹¹hetv± cha¼abhiññ± sacch±k±si. “Nemitt± ca viy±ka½su, buddho loke bhavissati;
aggo ca sabbasatt±na½, janata½ uddharissati.
“Nemitt±na½ suºitv±na, j±tip³jamak±saha½;
edis± p³jan± natthi, y±dis± j±tip³jan±.
“Saªkharitv±na kusala½, saka½ citta½ pas±dayi½;
j±tip³ja½ karitv±na, tattha k±laªkato aha½.
“Ya½ ya½ yonupapajj±mi, devatta½ atha m±nusa½;
sabbe satte abhibhomi, j±tip³j±yida½ phala½.
“Dh±tiyo ma½ upaµµhenti, mama cittavas±nug±;
na t± sakkonti kopetu½, j±tip³j±yida½ phala½.
“Ekanavutito kappe, ya½ p³jamakari½ tad±;
duggati½ n±bhij±n±mi, j±tip³j±yida½ phala½.
“Sup±ricariy± n±ma, catutti½sa jan±dhip±;
ito tatiyakappamhi, cakkavatt² mahabbal±.
“Kiles± jh±pit± mayha½…pe… kata½ buddhassa s±sanan”ti.
Cha¼abhiñño pana hutv± pah²nakilesapaccavekkhaºena etarahi anubhuyyam±narogavasena purimaj±t²su attan± kata½ p±pakamma½ anussaritv± tassa id±ni sabbaso pah²nabh±va½ vibh±vento–

Tattha p±panti akusala½ kamma½. Tañhi l±makaµµhena p±panti vuccati. Pubbeti pur±. Aññ±su j±tis³ti ito aññ±su j±t²su, aññesu attabh±vesu. Ayañhettha attho– yadipi may± imasmi½ attabh±ve na t±disa½ p±pa½ kata½ atthi, id±ni pana tassa sambhavoyeva natthi. Ya½ pana ito aññ±su j±t²su kata½ atthi, idheva ta½ vedan²ya½, tañhi idheva imasmi½yeva attabh±ve vedayitabba½ anubhavitabba½ phala½, kasm±? Vatthu añña½ na vijjat²ti tassa kammassa vipaccanok±so añño khandhappabandho natthi, ime pana khandh± sabbaso up±d±n±na½ pah²natt± anup±d±no viya j±tavedo carimakacittanirodhena appaµisandhik± nirujjhant²ti añña½ by±k±si.
