So tena puńńakammena devamanussesu sa½saranto imasmi½ buddhupp±de kosalaraµµhe br±hmaŗakule nibbattitv± vassikoti laddhan±mo vayappatto satthu yamakap±µih±riya½ disv± paµiladdhasaddho pabbajitv± samaŗadhamma½ karonto ±b±dhiko ahosi. Atha na½ ń±tak± vejjaparidiµµhena bhesajjavidhin± upaµµhahitv± arogamaka½su. So tamh± ±b±dh± vuµµhito sa½vegaj±to bh±vana½ ussukk±petv± cha¼abhińńo ahosi. Tena vutta½ apad±ne (apa. thera 2.47.40-44)–
“Vanantare buddha½ disv±, atthadassi½ mah±yasa½;
pasannacitto sumano, pilakkhassa phala½ ad±.
“Aµµh±rase kappasate, ya½ phala½ adadi½ tad±;
duggati½ n±bhij±n±mi, phalad±nassida½ phala½.
“Kiles± jh±pit± mayha½…pe… kata½ buddhassa s±sanan”ti;
cha¼abhińńo pana hutv± ±k±sena ń±tak±na½ santike gantv± ±k±se µhito dhamma½ desetv± te saraŗesu s²lesu ca patiµµh±pesi; tesu keci k±laŖkat± saraŗesu s²lesu ca patiµµhitatt± sagge nibbatti½su; atha na½ satth± buddhupaµµh±na½ upagata½ “ki½ te, vassika, ń±t²na½ ±rogyan”ti pucchi; so ń±t²na½ attan± kata½ upak±ra½ satthu kathento–

Tatth±ya½ paµhamag±th±ya attho– yo kammaphalasaddh±ya ca ratanattayasaddh±ya ca vasena saddho, tato eva kammassakatań±ŗ±diyogato medh±v², satthu ov±dadhamme navalokuttaradhamme ca µhitatt± dhammaµµho, ±c±ras²lassa maggas²lassa phalas²lassa ca vasena s²lasampanno, so ekopi yath±vutt±ya saddh±ya abh±vena assaddh±na½ idha imasmi½ loke “amh±ka½ ime”ti ń±tabbaµµhena ń±t²na½, tath± pemabandhanena bandhanaµµhena “bandh³”ti ca laddhan±m±na½ bandhav±na½ atth±ya hit±ya hot²ti.
Eva½ s±dh±raŗato vuttamattha½ att³pan±yika½ katv± dassetu½ “niggayh±”ti-±din± itarag±th± vutt±. Tattha niggayha anukamp±ya, codit± ń±tayo may±ti id±nipi duggat± kusala½ akatv± ±yati½ parikkilesa½ puna m±nubhavitth±ti niggahetv± ń±tayo may± ovadit±. ѱtibandhavapemena “amh±ka½ aya½ bandhavo”ti eva½ pavattena pemena mama ov±da½ atikkamitu½ asakkont± k±ra½ katv±na bhikkh³su pasannacitt± hutv± c²var±dipaccayad±nena ceva upaµµh±nena ca bhikkh³su sakk±rasamm±na½ katv± te abbhat²t± k±laŖkat± hutv± ima½ loka½ atikkant±.
