Sukhañce j²vitu½ iccheti ±yasmato dhaniyattherassa g±th±. K± uppatti? Ayampi purimabuddhesu kat±dhik±ro tattha tattha bhave puññ±ni upacinanto sikhissa bhagavato k±le kulagehe nibbattitv± viññuta½ patto ekadivasa½ satth±ra½ disv± pasannam±naso na¼am±l±ya p³ja½ ak±si. So tena puññakammena devamanussesu sa½saranto imasmi½ buddhupp±de r±jagahe kumbhak±rakule nibbattitv± dhaniyoti laddhan±mo vayappatto kumbhak±rakammena j²vati. Tena ca samayena satth± dhaniyassa kumbhak±rassa s±l±ya½ nis²ditv± pukkus±tissa kulaputtassa chadh±tuvibhaªgasutta½ (ma. ni. 3.342 ±dayo) desesi. So ta½ sutv± katakicco ahosi. Dhaniyo tassa parinibbutabh±va½ sutv± “niyy±nika½ vata buddhas±sana½, yattha ekarattiparicayen±pi vaµµadukkhato muñcitu½ sakk±”ti paµiladdhasaddho pabbajitv± kuµimaº¹an±nuyutto viharanto kuµikaraºa½ paµicca bhagavat± garahito saªghike sen±sane vasanto vipassana½ va¹¹hetv± arahatta½ p±puºi. Tena vutta½ apad±ne (apa. thera 2.48.1-7)–
“Suvaººavaººa½ sambuddha½, ±hut²na½ paµiggaha½;
vipinaggena gacchanta½, addasa½ lokan±yaka½.
“Na¼am±la½ gahetv±na, nikkhamanto ca t±vade;
tatthaddas±si½ sambuddha½, oghatiººaman±sava½.
“Pasannacitto sumano, na¼am±lamap³jayi½;
dakkhiºeyya½ mah±v²ra½, sabbalok±nukampaka½.
“Ekati½se ito kappe, ya½ m±lamabhiropayi½;
duggati½ n±bhij±n±mi, buddhap³j±yida½ phala½.
“Kiles± jh±pit± mayha½…pe… kata½ buddhassa s±sanan”ti;
arahatta½ pana patv± ye bhikkh³ dhutaªgasam±dh±nena att±na½ ukka½setv± saªghabhatt±di½ s±diyante aññe bhikkh³ avaj±nanti, tesa½ ov±dad±namukhena añña½ by±karonto–
228. “sukhañce j²vitu½ icche, s±maññasmi½ apekkhav±;
saªghika½ n±timaññeyya, c²vara½ p±nabhojana½.
229. Sukhañce j²vitu½ icche, s±maññasmi½ apekkhav±;
ahi m³sikasobbha½va, sevetha sayan±sana½.
230. Sukhañce j²vitu½ icche, s±maññasmi½ apekkhav±;
itar²tarena tusseyya, ekadhammañca bh±vaye”ti.– Tisso g±th± abh±si.
Tattha sukhañce j²vitu½ icche, s±maññasmi½ apekkhav±ti s±maññasmi½ samaºabh±ve apekkhav± sikkh±ya tibbag±ravo hutv± sukha½ j²vitu½ iccheyya ce, anesana½ pah±ya s±maññasukhena sace j²vituk±moti attho Saªghika½ n±timaññeyya, c²vara½ p±nabhojananti saªghato ±bhata½ c²vara½ ±h±ra½ na avamaññeyya, saªghassa uppajjanakal±bho n±ma parisuddhupp±do hot²ti ta½ paribhuñjantassa ±j²vap±risuddhisambhavena s±maññasukha½ hatthagatamev±ti adhipp±yo. Ahi m³sikasobbha½v±ti ahi viya m³sik±ya khatabila½ sevetha seveyya sen±sana½. Yath± n±ma sappo sayamattano ±saya½ akatv± m³sik±ya aññena v± kate ±saye vasitv± yena k±ma½ pakkamati, evameva½ bhikkhu saya½ sen±sanakaraº± sa½kilesa½ an±pajjitv± yattha katthaci vasitv± pakkameyy±ti attho.
Id±ni vutte avutte ca paccaye yath±l±bhasantoseneva s±maññasukha½ hoti, na aññath±ti dassento ±ha “itar²tarena tusseyy±”ti, yena kenaci h²nena v± paº²tena v± yath±laddhena paccayena santosa½ ±pajjeyy±ti attho. Ekadhammanti appam±dabh±va½, tañhi anuyuñjantassa anavajja½ sabba½ lokiyasukha½ lokuttarasukhañca hatthagatameva hoti. Ten±ha bhagav±– “appamatto hi jh±yanto, pappoti vipula½ sukhan”ti (ma. ni. 2.352; dha. pa. 27).
