tamaha½ kittayiss±mi, suº±tha mama bh±sato.
“Sattasattati kapp±ni, devaloke ramissati;
sahassakkhattu½ devindo, devarajja½ karissati.
“Anekasatakkhattuñca, cakkavatt² bhavissati;
padesarajja½ vipula½, gaºan±to asaªkhiya½.
“Devabh³to manusso v±, puññakammasam±hito;
an³namanasaªkappo, tikkhapañño bhavissati.
“Ti½sakappasahassamhi, okk±kakulasambhavo;
gotamo n±ma gottena, satth± loke bhavissati.

j±tiy± sattavassena, arahatta½ phusissati.

etthantare na j±n±mi, cetana½ amanorama½.
“Sa½saritv± bhave sabbe, sampatt±nubhavi½ aha½;
bhoge me ³nat± natthi, phala½ ñ±ºassa thomane.
“Tiyagg² nibbut± mayha½, bhav± sabbe sam³hat±;
sabb±sav± parikkh²º±, natthi d±ni punabbhavo.
“Ti½sakappasahassamhi, ya½ ñ±ºamathavi½ aha½;
duggati½ n±bhij±n±mi, phala½ ñ±ºassa thomane.
“Kiles± jh±pit± mayha½…pe… kata½ buddhassa s±sanan”ti;
so arahatta½ pana patv± attano pubbeniv±sa½ anupaµip±µiy± anussaranto y±va asaññabhave acittakapaµisandhi, t±va addasa; tato pañca kappasat±ni cittappavatti½ adisv± avas±neva disv± “kimetan”ti ±vajjento nayavasena “asaññabhavo bhavissat²”ti niµµha½ agam±si; ten±ha bhagav±– “atthi, bhikkhave, asaññasatt± n±ma d²gh±yuk± dev±, tato cuto sobhito idh³papanno, so eta½ bhava½ j±n±ti, sobhito anussarat²”ti (p±r±. 232 atthato sam±na½); eva½ nayavasena anussarantassa anussaraºakosalla½ disv± satth± thera½ pubbeniv±sa½ anussarant±na½ aggaµµh±ne µhapesi; tato eva c±ya½ ±yasm± savisesa½ attano pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºa½ tassa ca paccayabh³ta½ paµipatti½ paccavekkhitv± somanassaj±to tadatthad²pana½ ud±na½ ud±nento–

Tattha satim±ti saya½ samud±gamanasampann±ya satipaµµh±nabh±van±p±rip³riy± sativepullappattiy± ca satim±. Paññav±ti cha¼abhiññ±p±rip³riy± paññ±vepullappattiy± ca paññav±. Bhinnakilesat±ya bhikkhu. Saddh±dibal±nañceva catubbidhasammappadh±nav²riyassa ca sa½siddhip±rip³riy± ±raddhabalav²riyo. Saddh±d²nañhettha balaggahaºena gahaºa½ satipi sati-±d²na½ balabh±ve, yath± “gobalibaddh± puññañ±ºasambh±r±”ti. Pañca kappasat±n±ha½, ekaratti½ anussarinti ekaratti½ viya anussari½. Viya-saddo hi idha luttaniddiµµho, etena pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºe attano ñ±ºavas²bh±va½ d²peti.
Id±ni y±ya paµipattiy± attano satimant±dibh±vo s±tisaya½ pubbeniv±sañ±ºañca siddha½, ta½ dassetu½ “catt±ro”ti-±din± dutiya½ g±tham±ha. Tattha catt±ro satipaµµh±neti k±y±nupassan±dike attano visayabhedena catubbidhe lokiyalokuttaramissake satisaªkh±te satipaµµh±ne. Satt±ti satta bojjhaªge. Aµµh±ti aµµha maggaªg±ni. Satipaµµh±nesu hi suppatiµµhitacittassa satta bojjhaªg± bh±van±p±rip³ri½ gat± eva honti, tath± ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo. Ten±ha dhammasen±pati– “cat³su satipaµµh±nesu suppatiµµhitacitt± satta bojjhaªge yath±bh³ta½ bh±vetv±”ti-±d²hi (d². ni. 3.143) sattakoµµh±sikesu sattati½s±ya bodhipakkhiyadhammesu ekasmi½ koµµh±se bh±van±p±rip³ri½ gacchante itare agacchant± n±ma natth²ti.
