Atha paccekabuddho ±ha– “na puttamiccheyy±”ti sabba½. Tatr±dhipp±yo– aha½ id±ni atraj±d²su ya½ kiñci puttampi na iccheyya½, kuto pana tumh±disa½ sah±ya½? Tasm± tumhesupi yo may± saddhi½ gantu½ m±diso v± hotu½ icchati, so eko care khaggavis±ºakappo. Atha v± tehi “amhe d±ni, bhante, pajahatha na icchath±”ti vutte so paccekabuddho “na puttamiccheyya kuto sah±yan”ti vatv± attano yath±vuttenatthena ekacariy±ya guºa½ disv± pamudito p²tisomanassaj±to ima½ ud±na½ ud±nesi– “eko care khaggavis±ºakappo”ti. Gandham±dano n±ma himavati c³¼ak±¼apabbata½, mah±k±¼apabbata½, n±gapaliveµhana½, candagabbha½, s³riyagabbha½, suvaººapassa½, himavantapabbatanti satta pabbate atikkamma hoti. Tattha nandam³laka½ n±ma pabbh±ra½ paccekabuddh±na½ vasanok±so. Tisso ca guh±yo– suvaººaguh±, maºiguh±, rajataguh±ti. Tattha maºiguh±dv±re mañj³sako n±ma rukkho yojana½ ubbedhena, yojana½ vitth±rena. So yattak±ni udake v± thale v± pupph±ni, sabb±ni t±ni pupphayati visesena paccekabuddh±gamanadivase. Tass³parito sabbaratanam±¼o hoti. Tattha sammajjanakav±to kacavara½ cha¹¹eti, samakaraºav±to sabbaratanamaya½ v±lika½ sama½ karoti, siñcanakav±to anotattadahato ±netv± udaka½ siñcati, sugandhakaraºav±to himavantato sabbesa½ gandharukkh±na½ gandhe ±neti, ocinakav±to pupph±ni ocinitv± p±teti, santharakav±to sabbattha santharati. Sad± paññatt±neva cettha ±san±ni honti, yesu paccekabuddhupp±dadivase uposathadivase ca sabbapaccekabuddh± sannipatitv± nis²danti. Aya½ tattha pakati. Abhisambuddha-paccekabuddho tattha gantv± paññatt±sane nis²dati. Tato sace tasmi½ k±le aññepi paccekabuddh± sa½vijjanti, tepi taªkhaºa½ sannipatitv± paññatt±sanesu nis²danti. Nis²ditv± ca kiñcideva sam±patti½ sam±pajjitv± vuµµhahanti, tato saªghatthero adhun±gatapaccekabuddha½ sabbesa½ anumodanatth±ya “kathamadhigatan”ti kammaµµh±na½ pucchati. Tad±pi so tameva attano ud±naby±karaºag±tha½ bh±sati. Puna bhagav±pi ±yasmat± ±nandena puµµho tameva g±tha½ bh±sati, ±nando ca saªg²tiyanti evamekek± g±th± paccekasambodhi-abhisambuddhaµµh±ne, mañj³sakam±¼e ±nandena pucchitak±le, saªg²tiyanti catukkhattu½ bh±sit± hot²ti.

36. Sa½saggaj±tass±ti k± uppatti? Ayampi paccekabodhisatto kassapassa bhagavato s±sane v²sati vassasahass±ni purimanayeneva samaºadhamma½ karonto kasiºaparikamma½ katv±, paµhamajjh±na½ nibbattetv±, n±mar³pa½ vavatthapetv±, lakkhaºasammasana½ katv±, ariyamagga½ anadhigamma brahmaloke nibbatti. So tato cuto b±r±ºasirañño aggamahesiy± kucchimhi uppajjitv± purimanayeneva va¹¹ham±no yato pabhuti “aya½ itth² aya½ puriso”ti visesa½ aññ±si, tatup±d±ya itth²na½ hatthe na ramati, ucch±dananh±panamaº¹an±dimattampi na sahati. M±t±pitaro “amh±ka½ putto mah±puñño, avassa½ tena saha katapuññ± k±ci d±rik± loke uppann± bhavissat²”ti ta½ suvaººar³pa½ ratha½ ±ropetv± amacc±na½ appesu½ “gacchatha, ²disi½ d±rika½ gavesath±”ti. Ta½ maggaphalasukhena sukhita½ santindriya½ santam±nasa½ nisinna½ disv±, paºip±ta½ katv±, amacc± ±ha½su– “m± soci, deva, mahanto jambud²po, añña½ tato sundaratara½ ±ness±m±”ti. So ±ha– “n±ha½ socako, nissoko paccekabuddho ahan”ti. Ito para½ sabba½ purimag±th±sadisameva µhapetv± g±th±vaººana½.
G±th±vaººan±ya½ pana sa½saggaj±tass±ti j±tasa½saggassa. Tattha dassana, savana, k±ya, samullapana, sambhogasa½saggavasena pañcavidho sa½saggo. Tattha aññamañña½ disv± cakkhuviññ±ºav²thivasena uppannar±go dassanasa½saggo n±ma. Tattha s²ha¼ad²pe k±¼ad²ghav±p²g±me piº¹±ya caranta½ kaly±ºavih±rav±s²d²ghabh±ºakadaharabhikkhu½ disv± paµibaddhacitt± kenaci up±yena ta½ alabhitv±, k±lakat± kuµumbiyadh²t±, tass± niv±sanaco¼akhaº¹a½ disv± “evar³pavatthadh±riniy± n±ma saddhi½ sa½v±sa½ n±latthan”ti hadaya½ ph±letv± k±lakato. So eva ca daharo nidassana½.
Parehi pana kathiyam±na½ r³p±disampatti½ attan± v± hasitalapitag²tasadda½ sutv± sotaviññ±ºav²thivasena uppanno r±go savanasa½saggo n±ma. Tatr±pi girig±mav±s²kamm±radh²t±ya pañcahi kum±r²hi saddhi½ padumassara½ gantv±, nhatv± m±la½ ±ropetv±, ucc±saddena g±yantiy± ±k±sena gacchanto sadda½ sutv± k±mar±gena vises± parih±yitv± anayabyasana½ patto pañcagga¼aleºav±s² tissadaharo nidassana½.
Aññamañña½ aªgapar±masanena uppannar±go k±yasa½saggo n±ma. Dhammag±yanadaharabhikkhu cettha nidassana½. Mah±vih±re kira daharabhikkhu dhamma½ bh±sati Tattha mah±jane ±gate r±j±pi agam±si saddhi½ antepurena. Tato r±jadh²t±ya tassa r³pañca saddañca ±gamma balavar±go uppanno, tassa ca daharass±pi. Ta½ disv± r±j± sallakkhetv± s±ºip±k±rena parikkhip±pesi. Te aññamañña½ par±masitv± ±liªgi½su. Puna s±ºip±k±ra½ apanetv± passant± dvepi k±lakateyeva addasa½s³ti.
Aññamañña½ ±lapanasamullapane uppanno r±go pana samullapanasa½saggo n±ma. Bhikkhubhikkhun²hi saddhi½ paribhogakaraºe uppannar±go sambhogasa½saggo n±ma. Dv²supi cetesu p±r±jikappatto bhikkhu ca bhikkhun² ca nidassana½. Maricivaµµin±mamah±vih±ramahe kira duµµhag±maºi abhayamah±r±j± mah±d±na½ paµiy±detv± ubhatosaªgha½ parivisati. Tattha uºhay±guy± dinn±ya saªghanavakas±maºer² an±dh±rakassa saªghanavakas±maºerassa dantavalaya½ datv± samull±pa½ ak±si. Te ubhopi upasampajjitv± saµµhivass± hutv± parat²ra½ gat± aññamañña½ samull±pena pubbasañña½ paµilabhitv± t±vadeva j±tasineh± sikkh±pada½ v²tikkamitv± p±r±jik± ahesunti.
Eva½ pañcavidhe sa½sagge yena kenaci sa½saggena j±tasa½saggassa bhavati sneho, purimar±gapaccay± balavar±go uppajjati. Tato snehanvaya½ dukkhamida½ pahoti tameva sneha½ anugacchanta½ sandiµµhikasampar±yikasokaparidev±din±nappak±raka½ dukkhamida½ pahoti, nibbattati, bhavati, j±yati. Apare pana “±rammaºe cittassa vossaggo sa½saggo”ti bhaºanti. Tato sneho, sneh± dukkhamidanti.
