Tath± hissa somanassakum±rak±le, hatthip±lakum±rak±le, ayogharapaŗ¹itak±le, m³gapakkhapaŗ¹itak±le, c³¼asutasomak±leti evam±d²su nekkhammap±ramip³raŗavasena devarajjasadis±ya rajjasiriy± pariccattattabh±v±na½ parim±ŗa½ natthi. Carimattabh±vepi hatthagata½ cakkavattisiri½ devalok±dhipaccasadisa½ catudd²pissariya½ cakkavattisampattisannissaya½ sattaratanasamujjala½ yasańca tiŗ±yapi amańńam±no nirapekkho pah±ya abhinikkhamitv± samm±sambodhi½ abhisambuddho. Tasm± ime siri-±dike bhage vam²ti bhagav±. Atha v± bh±ni n±ma nakkhatt±ni, tehi sama½ gacchanti pavattant²ti bhag± sineruyugandhara-uttarakuruhimavant±dibh±janalokavisesasannissay± sobh± kappaµµhitiyabh±vato. Tepi bhagav± vami ta½niv±sisatt±v±sasamatikkamanatotappaµibaddhachandar±gappah±nena pajah²ti. Evampi bhage vam²ti bhagav±.
“Cakkavattisiri½ yasm±, yasa½ issariya½ sukha½;
pah±si lokacittańca, sugato bhagav± tato”.

Tattha pańń±yassa dhammarajjapatti, karuŗ±ya dhammasa½vibh±go; pańń±ya sa½s±radukkhanibbid±, karuŗ±ya sa½s±radukkhasahana½; pańń±ya paradukkhaparij±nana½, karuŗ±ya paradukkhappaµik±r±rambho. Pańń±ya parinibb±n±bhimukhabh±vo karuŗ±ya tadadhigamo; pańń±ya saya½ taraŗa½, karuŗ±ya paresa½ t±raŗa½; pańń±ya buddhabh±vasiddhi, karuŗ±ya buddhakiccasiddhi.
