7. Poµµhilattheravatthu

Yog± veti ima½ dhammadesana½ satth± jetavane viharanto poµµhila½ n±ma thera½ ±rabbha kathesi.
So kira sattannampi buddh±na½ s±sane tepiµako pańcanna½ bhikkhusat±na½ dhamma½ v±cesi. Satth± cintesi “imassa bhikkhuno ‘attano dukkhanissaraŗa½ kariss±m²’ti cittampi natthi sa½vejess±mi nan”ti. Tato paµµh±ya ta½ thera½ attano upaµµh±na½ ±gatak±le “ehi, tucchapoµµhila, vanda, tucchapoµµhila, nis²da, tucchapoµµhila, y±hi, tucchapoµµhil±”ti vadati. Uµµh±ya gatak±lepi “tucchapoµµhilo gato”ti vadati. So cintesi– “aha½ s±µµhakath±ni t²ŗi piµak±ni dh±remi, pańcanna½ bhikkhusat±na½ aµµh±rasa mah±gaŗe dhamma½ v±cemi, atha pana ma½ satth± abhikkhaŗa½, ‘tucchapoµµhil±’ti vadeti, addh± ma½ satth± jh±n±d²na½ abh±vena eva½ vadet²”ti. So uppannasa½vego “d±ni arańńa½ pavisitv± samaŗadhamma½ kariss±m²”ti sayameva pattac²vara½ sa½vidahitv± pacc³sak±le sabbapacch± dhamma½ uggaŗhitv± nikkhamantena bhikkhun± saddhi½ nikkhami. Pariveŗe nis²ditv± sajjh±yant± na½ “±cariyo”ti na sallakkhesu½. So v²sayojanasatamagga½ gantv± ekasmi½ arańń±v±se ti½sa bhikkh³ vasanti, te upasaŖkamitv± saŖghatthera½ vanditv±, “bhante, avassayo me hoth±”ti ±ha. ¾vuso, tva½ dhammakathiko, amhehi n±ma ta½ niss±ya kińci j±nitabba½ bhaveyya, kasm± eva½ vades²ti? M±, bhante, eva½ karotha, avassayo me hoth±ti. Te pana sabbe kh²ŗ±sav±va. Atha na½ mah±thero “imassa uggaha½ niss±ya m±no atthiyev±”ti anutherassa santika½ pahiŗi. Sopi na½ tathev±ha. Imin± n²h±rena sabbepi ta½ pesent± div±µµh±ne nis²ditv± s³cikamma½ karontassa sabbanavakassa sattavassikas±maŗerassa santika½ pahiŗi½su. Evamassa m±na½ n²hari½su.
So nihatam±no s±maŗerassa santike ańjali½ paggahetv± “avassayo me hohi sappuris±”ti ±ha. Aho, ±cariya, ki½ n±meta½ kathetha, tumhe mahallak± bahussut±, tumh±ka½ santike may± kińci k±raŗa½ j±nitabba½ bhaveyy±ti. M± eva½ kari, sappurisa, hohiyeva me avassayoti. Bhante, sacepi ov±dakkham± bhavissatha, bhaviss±mi vo avassayoti. Homi, sappurisa, aha½ “aggi½ pavis±”ti vutte aggi½ pavis±miyev±ti. Atha na½ so avid³re eka½ sara½ dassetv±, “bhante, yath±nivatthap±rutova ima½ sara½ pavisath±”ti ±ha. So hissa mahaggh±na½ dupaµµac²var±na½ nivatthap±rutabh±va½ ńatv±pi “ov±dakkhamo nu kho”ti v²ma½santo evam±ha. Theropi ekavacaneneva udaka½ otari. Atha na½ c²varakaŗŗ±na½ temitak±le “etha, bhante”ti vatv± ekavacaneneva ±gantv± µhita½ ±ha– “bhante, ekasmi½ vammike cha chidd±ni, tattha ekena chiddena godh± anto paviµµh±, ta½ gaŗhituk±mo itar±ni pańca chidd±ni thaketv± chaµµha½ bhinditv± paviµµhachiddeneva gaŗh±ti, eva½ tumhepi chadv±rikesu ±rammaŗesu ses±ni pańcadv±r±ni pidh±ya manodv±re kamma½ paµµhapeth±”ti. Bahussutassa bhikkhuno ettakeneva pad²pujjalana½ viya ahosi. So “ettakameva hotu sappuris±”ti karajak±ye ń±ŗa½ ot±retv± samaŗadhamma½ ±rabhi.
Satth± v²sayojanasatamatthake nisinnova ta½ bhikkhu½ oloketv± “yathev±ya½ bhikkhu bh³ripańńo evameva½ anena att±na½ patiµµh±petu½ vaµµat²”ti cintetv± tena saddhi½ kathento viya obh±sa½ pharitv± ima½ g±tham±ha–
282. “Yog± ve j±yat² bh³ri, ayog± bh³risaŖkhayo;
eta½ dvedh±patha½ ńatv±, bhav±ya vibhav±ya ca;
tath±tt±na½ niveseyya, yath± bh³ri pava¹¹hat²”ti.
Tattha yog±ti aµµhati½s±ya ±rammaŗesu yoniso manasik±r±. Bh³r²ti pathav²sam±ya vitthat±ya pańń±yeta½ n±ma½. SaŖkhayoti vin±so. Eta½ dvedh±pathanti eta½ yogańca ayogańca. Bhav±ya vibhav±ya c±ti vuddhiy± ca avuddhiy± ca. Tath±ti yath± aya½ bh³risaŖkh±t± pańń± pava¹¹hati, eva½ att±na½ niveseyy±ti attho.
