Natthi r±gasamoti ima½ dhammadesana½ satth± jetavane viharanto ańńatara½ kulad±rika½ ±rabbha kathesi.
Tass± kira m±t±pitaro ±v±ha½ katv± maŖgaladivase satth±ra½ nimantayi½su. Satth± bhikkhusaŖghaparivuto tattha gantv± nis²di. S±pi kho vadhuk± bhikkhusaŖghassa udakapariss±van±d²ni karont² apar±para½ sańcarati. S±mikopiss± ta½ olokento aµµh±si. Tassa r±gavasena olokentassa anto kileso samud±cari. So ańń±ŗ±bhibh³to neva buddha½ upaµµhahi, na as²ti mah±there. Hattha½ pas±retv± “ta½ vadhuka½ gaŗhiss±m²”ti pana citta½ ak±si. Satth± tassajjh±saya½ oloketv± yath± ta½ itthi½ na passati, evamak±si. So adisv± satth±ra½ olokento aµµh±si. Satth± tassa oloketv± µhitak±le “kum±raka, na hi r±gaggin± sadiso aggi n±ma dosakalin± sadiso kali n±ma, khandhapariharaŗadukkhena sadisa½ dukkha½ n±ma atthi, nibb±nasukhasadisa½ sukhampi natthiyev±”ti vatv± ima½ g±tham±ha–
202. “Natthi r±gasamo aggi, natthi dosasamo kali;
natthi khandhasam± dukkh±, natthi santipara½ sukhan”ti.
Tattha natthi r±gasamoti dh³ma½ v± j±la½ v± aŖg±ra½ v± adassetv± antoyeva jh±petv± bhasmamuµµhi½ k±tu½ samattho r±gena samo ańńo aggi n±ma natthi. Kal²ti dosena samo apar±dhopi natthi. Khandhasam±ti khandhehi sam±. Yath± parihariyam±n± khandh± dukkh±, eva½ ańńa½ dukkha½ n±ma natthi. Santiparanti nibb±nato uttari½ ańńa½ sukhampi natthi. Ańńańhi sukha½ sukhameva, nibb±na½ paramasukhanti attho.
Desan±vas±ne kum±rik± ca kum±rako ca sot±pattiphale patiµµhahi½su. Tasmi½ samaye bhagav± tesa½ ańńamańńa½ dassan±k±ra½ ak±s²ti.
