7. Atha kho ±yasm± ±nando yena bhagav± tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± bhagavanta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± ±nando bhagavanta½ etadavoca–
“Siy± nu kho, bhante, bhikkhuno tath±r³po sam±dhipaµil±bho yath± neva pathaviya½ pathavisaññ² assa, na ±pasmi½ ±posaññ² assa, na tejasmi½ tejosaññ² assa, na v±yasmi½ v±yosaññ² assa, na ±k±s±nañc±yatane ±k±s±nañc±yatanasaññ² assa, na viññ±ºañc±yatane viññ±ºañc±yatanasaññ² assa, na ±kiñcaññ±yatane ±kiñcaññ±yatanasaññ² assa, na nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatane nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatanasaññ² assa, na idhaloke idhalokasaññ² assa, na paraloke paralokasaññ² assa, yampida½ diµµha½ suta½ muta½ viññ±ta½ patta½ pariyesita½ anuvicarita½ manas±, tatr±pi na saññ² assa; saññ² ca pana ass±ti?

Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± ±nando ±yasmanta½ s±riputta½ etadavoca–

Id±n±ha½, ±vuso, bhagavanta½ upasaªkamitv± etamattha½ apucchi½. Bhagav±pi me etehi akkharehi etehi padehi etehi byañjanehi etamattha½ by±k±si, seyyath±pi ±yasm± s±riputto. Acchariya½, ±vuso, abbhuta½, ±vuso, yatra hi n±ma satthu ceva s±vakassa ca atthena attho byañjanena byañjana½ sa½sandissati samessati na viggayhissati, yadida½ aggapadasmin”ti! Sattama½.
