13. Atha kho ±yasm± mah±koµµhiko [mah±koµµhito (s². sy±. p².)] yen±yasm± s±riputto tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmat± s±riputtena saddhi½ sammodi. Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± mah±koµµhiko ±yasmanta½ s±riputta½ etadavoca– “ki½ nu kho, ±vuso s±riputta, ‘ya½ kamma½ diµµhadhammavedan²ya½, ta½ me kamma½ sampar±yavedan²ya½ hot³’ti, etassa atth±ya bhagavati brahmacariya½ vussat²”ti? “No hida½, ±vuso”.
“Ki½ nu kho, ±vuso s±riputta, ‘ya½ kamma½ sukhavedan²ya½ [sukhavedaniya½ (ka.) ma. ni. 3.8 passitabba½], ta½ me kamma½ dukkhavedan²ya½ [dukkhavedaniya½ (ka.)] hot³’ti, etassa atth±ya bhagavati brahmacariya½ vussat²”ti? “No hida½, ±vuso”.
