68. “Sattahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samann±gato bhikkhu ±huneyyo hoti …pe… anuttara½ puññakkhetta½ lokassa. Katamehi sattahi? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhammaññ³ ca hoti atthaññ³ ca attaññ³ ca mattaññ³ ca k±laññ³ ca parisaññ³ ca puggalaparoparaññ³ ca.
“Kathañca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhammaññ³ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhamma½ j±n±ti– sutta½ geyya½ veyy±karaºa½ g±tha½ ud±na½ itivuttaka½ j±taka½ abbhutadhamma½ vedalla½. No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhamma½ j±neyya– sutta½ geyya½…pe… abbhutadhamma½ vedalla½, nayidha ‘dhammaññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu dhamma½ j±n±ti– sutta½ geyya½…pe… abbhutadhamma½ vedalla½, tasm± ‘dhammaññ³’ti vuccati. Iti dhammaññ³.
“Atthaññ³ ca katha½ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu tassa tasseva bh±sitassa attha½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho, aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho’ti. No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu tassa tasseva bh±sitassa attha½ j±neyya– ‘aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho, aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho’ti, nayidha ‘atthaññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu tassa tasseva bh±sitassa attha½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho, aya½ imassa bh±sitassa attho’ti, tasm± ‘atthaññ³’ti vuccati. Iti dhammaññ³, atthaññ³.

No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu att±na½ j±neyya– ‘ettakomhi saddh±ya s²lena sutena c±gena paññ±ya paµibh±nen±’ti, nayidha ‘attaññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca, bhikkhave bhikkhu att±na½ j±n±ti– ‘ettakomhi saddh±ya s²lena sutena c±gena paññ±ya paµibh±nen±’ti, tasm± ‘attaññ³’ti vuccati. Iti dhammaññ³, atthaññ³, attaññ³.
“Mattaññ³ ca katha½ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu matta½ j±n±ti c²varapiº¹ap±tasen±sanagil±nappaccayabhesajjaparikkh±r±na½ paµiggahaº±ya. No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu matta½ j±neyya c²varapiº¹ap±tasen±sanagil±nappaccayabhesajjaparikkh±r±na½ paµiggahaº±ya, nayidha ‘mattaññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu matta½ j±n±ti c²varapiº¹ap±tasen±sanagil±nappaccayabhesajjaparikkh±r±na½ paµiggahaº±ya, tasm± ‘mattaññ³’ti vuccati. Iti dhammaññ³, atthaññ³, attaññ³, mattaññ³.
“K±laññ³ ca katha½ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu, k±la½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ k±lo uddesassa, aya½ k±lo paripucch±ya, aya½ k±lo yogassa, aya½ k±lo paµisall±nass±’ti. No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu k±la½ j±neyya– ‘aya½ k±lo uddesassa, aya½ k±lo paripucch±ya, aya½ k±lo yogassa, aya½ k±lo paµisall±nass±’ti, nayidha ‘k±laññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu k±la½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ k±lo uddesassa, aya½ k±lo paripucch±ya, aya½ k±lo yogassa, aya½ k±lo paµisall±nass±’ti, tasm± ‘k±laññ³’ti vuccati. “Parisaññ³ ca katha½ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu parisa½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ khattiyaparis±, aya½ br±hmaºaparis±, aya½ gahapatiparis±, aya½ samaºaparis±. Tattha eva½ upasaªkamitabba½, eva½ µh±tabba½ eva½ kattabba½, eva½ nis²ditabba½, eva½ bh±sitabba½, eva½ tuºh² bhavitabban’ti. No ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu parisa½ j±neyya– ‘aya½ khattiyaparis±…pe… eva½ tuºh² bhavitabban’ti, nayidha ‘parisaññ³’ti vucceyya. Yasm± ca kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu parisa½ j±n±ti– ‘aya½ khattiyaparis±, aya½ br±hmaºaparis±, aya½ gahapatiparis±, aya½ samaºaparis± Tattha eva½ upasaªkamitabba½, eva½ µh±tabba½, eva½ kattabba½, eva½ nis²ditabba½, eva½ bh±sitabba½, eva½ tuºh² bhavitabban’ti, tasm± ‘parisaññ³’ti vuccati. “Puggalaparoparaññ³ ca katha½ hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno [sabbatthapi idha ±rambhe “bhikkhuno” tveva dissati] dvayena puggal± vidit± honti. Dve puggal±– eko ariy±na½ dassanak±mo, eko ariy±na½ na dassanak±mo. Yv±ya½ puggalo ariy±na½ na dassanak±mo eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo ariy±na½ dassanak±mo, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± ariy±na½ dassanak±m±– eko saddhamma½ sotuk±mo, eko saddhamma½ na sotuk±mo. Yv±ya½ puggalo saddhamma½ na sotuk±mo, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo saddhamma½ sotuk±mo, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± saddhamma½ sotuk±m±– eko ohitasoto dhamma½ suº±ti, eko anohitasoto dhamma½ suº±ti. Yv±ya½ puggalo anohitasoto dhamma½ suº±ti, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo ohitasoto dhamma½ suº±ti, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± ohitasot± dhamma½ suºanti [suºant± (ka.)]– eko sutv± dhamma½ dh±reti, eko sutv± dhamma½ na dh±reti. Yv±ya½ puggalo sutv± na dhamma½ dh±reti, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo sutv± dhamma½ dh±reti, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± sutv± dhamma½ dh±renti [dh±rent± (ka.)]– eko dh±t±na½ [dhat±na½ (s². sy±. ka½. p².)] dhamm±na½ attha½ upaparikkhati, eko dh±t±na½ dhamm±na½ attha½ na upaparikkhati. Yv±ya½ puggalo dh±t±na½ dhamm±na½ attha½ na upaparikkhati, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo dh±t±na½ dhamm±na½ attha½ upaparikkhati, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± dh±t±na½ dhamm±na½ attha½ upaparikkhanti [upaparikkhant± (ka.)]– eko atthamaññ±ya dhammamaññ±ya dhamm±nudhammappaµipanno, eko atthamaññ±ya dhammamaññ±ya na dhamm±nudhammappaµipanno. Yv±ya½ puggalo atthamaññ±ya dhammamaññ±ya na dhamm±nudhammappaµipanno, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo atthamaññ±ya dhammamaññ±ya dhamm±nudhammappaµipanno, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so.
“Dve puggal± atthamaññ±ya dhammamaññ±ya dhamm±nudhammappaµipann±– eko attahit±ya paµipanno no parahit±ya, eko attahit±ya ca paµipanno parahit±ya ca. Yv±ya½ puggalo attahit±ya paµipanno no parahit±ya, eva½ so tenaªgena g±rayho. Yv±ya½ puggalo atthahit±ya ca paµipanno parahit±ya ca, eva½ so tenaªgena p±sa½so. Eva½ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno [bhikkhun± (s². sy±.)] dvayena puggal± vidit± honti.
