60. “Sattahi bhikkhave, dhammehi samann±gato bhikkhu nacirasseva ±sav±na½ khay±…pe… sacchikatv± upasampajja vihareyya. Katamehi sattahi Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu saddho hoti, s²lav± hoti, bahussuto hoti, paµisall²no hoti, ±raddhav²riyo hoti, satim± hoti, paññav± hoti. 61. Eva½ me suta½– eka½ samaya½ bhagav± bhaggesu viharati susum±ragire bhesaka¼±vane migad±ye. Tena kho pana samayena ±yasm± mah±moggall±no magadhesu kallav±¼aputtag±me [kallav±lamuttag±me (sy±.)] pacal±yam±no nisinno hoti. Addas± kho bhagav± dibbena cakkhun± visuddhena atikkantam±nusakena ±yasmanta½ mah±moggall±na½ magadhesu kallav±¼aputtag±me pacal±yam±na½ nisinna½. Disv±– seyyath±pi n±ma balav± puriso samiñjita½ v± b±ha½ pas±reyya, pas±rita½ v± b±ha½ samiñjeyya, evameva½– bhaggesu susum±ragire bhesaka¼±vane migad±ye antarahito magadhesu kallav±¼aputtag±me ±yasmato mah±moggall±nassa sammukhe p±turahosi. Paµibuddhena ca [paµibuddheneva (sy±.)] te, moggall±na, khippaññeva paccuµµh±tabba½– ‘na seyyasukha½ na passasukha½ na middhasukha½ anuyutto vihariss±m²’ti. Evañhi te, moggall±na, sikkhitabba½.
“Tasm±tiha, moggall±na, eva½ sikkhitabba½– ‘na ucc±soº¹a½ paggahetv± kul±ni upasaªkamiss±m²’ti. Evañhi te, moggall±na, sikkhitabba½. Sace, moggall±na, bhikkhu ucc±soº¹a½ paggahetv± kul±ni upasaªkamati, santi hi, moggall±na, kulesu kiccakaraº²y±ni. Yehi manuss± ±gata½ bhikkhu½ na manasi karonti, tatra bhikkhussa eva½ hoti– ‘kosu n±ma id±ni ma½ imasmi½ kule paribhindi, virattar³p± d±nime mayi manuss±’ti. Itissa al±bhena maªkubh±vo, maªkubh³tassa uddhacca½, uddhatassa asa½varo, asa½vutassa ±r± citta½ sam±dhimh±.
“Tasm±tiha, moggall±na, eva½ sikkhitabba½– ‘na vigg±hikakatha½ kathess±m²’ti. Evañhi te, moggall±na, sikkhitabba½. Vigg±hik±ya, moggall±na, kath±ya sati kath±b±hulla½ p±µikaªkha½, kath±b±hulle sati uddhacca½, uddhatassa asa½varo, asa½vutassa ±r± citta½ sam±dhimh± [n±ha½ moggal±na sabbeheva samagga½ vaººay±mi gahaµµhehi. Pabbajitehi kho aha½ moggall±na samagga½ vaººay±mi (ka.)]. N±ha½, moggall±na, sabbeheva sa½sagga½ vaººay±mi. Na pan±ha½ moggall±na, sabbeheva sa½sagga½ na vaººay±mi. Sagahaµµhapabbajitehi kho aha½, moggall±na, sa½sagga½ na vaººay±mi [n±ha½ moggall±na sabbeheva samagga½ vaººay±mi gahaµµhehi, pabbajitehi kho aha½ moggall±na samagga½ vaººay±mi (ka.)]. Y±ni ca kho t±ni sen±san±ni appasadd±ni appanigghos±ni vijanav±t±ni manussar±hasseyyak±ni [manussar±haseyyak±ni (s². sy±.)] paµisall±nas±rupp±ni tath±r³pehi sen±sanehi sa½sagga½ [samagga½ (ka.)] vaººay±m²”ti.
Eva½ vutte ±yasm± mah±moggall±no bhagavanta½ etadavoca– “kitt±vat± nu kho, bhante, bhikkhu sa½khittena taºh±saªkhayavimutto hoti accantaniµµho accantayogakkhem² accantabrahmac±r² accantapariyos±no seµµho devamanuss±nan”ti?
“Idha, moggall±na, bhikkhuno suta½ hoti– ‘sabbe dhamm± n±la½ abhinives±y±’ti; evañceta½, moggall±na, bhikkhuno suta½ hoti– ‘sabbe dhamm± n±la½ abhinives±y±’ti. So sabba½ dhamma½ abhij±n±ti, sabba½ dhamma½ abhiññ±ya sabba½ dhamma½ parij±n±ti. Sabba½ dhamma½ pariññ±ya ya½kiñci vedana½ vediyati sukha½ v± dukkha½ v± adukkhamasukha½ v±. So t±su vedan±su anicc±nupass² viharati, vir±g±nupass² viharati, nirodh±nupass² viharati, paµinissagg±nupass² viharati. So t±su vedan±su anicc±nupass² viharanto vir±g±nupass² viharanto nirodh±nupass² viharanto paµinissagg±nupass² viharanto na kiñci [na ca kiñci (s². sy±. ka.) ma. ni. 1.390 passitabba½] loke up±diyati, anup±diya½ na paritassati, aparitassa½ paccatta½yeva parinibb±yati. ‘Kh²º± j±ti, vusita½ brahmacariya½, kata½ karaº²ya½, n±para½ itthatt±y±’ti paj±n±ti.
