28. Eka½ samaya½ sambahul± ther± bhikkh³ b±r±ºasiya½ viharanti isipatane migad±ye. Atha kho tesa½ ther±na½ bhikkh³na½ pacch±bhatta½ piº¹ap±tapaµikkant±na½ maº¹alam±¼e sannisinn±na½ sannipatit±na½ ayamantar±kath± udap±di– “ko nu kho, ±vuso, samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitun”ti?
Eva½ vutte aññataro bhikkhu there bhikkh³ etadavoca– “yasmi½, ±vuso, samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu pacch±bhatta½ piº¹ap±tapaµikkanto p±de pakkh±letv± nisinno hoti pallaªka½ ±bhujitv± uju½ k±ya½ paºidh±ya parimukha½ sati½ upaµµhapetv±, so samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitun”ti.

Yasmi½, ±vuso, samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu pacch±bhatta½ piº¹ap±tapaµikkanto p±de pakkh±letv± nisinno hoti pallaªka½ ±bhujitv± uju½ k±ya½ paºidh±ya parimukha½ sati½ upaµµhapetv±, c±rittakilamathopissa tasmi½ samaye appaµippassaddho hoti, bhattakilamathopissa tasmi½ samaye appaµippassaddho hoti. Tasm± so asamayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitu½. Yasmi½, ±vuso, samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu s±yanhasamaya½ paµisall±n± vuµµhito vih±rapacch±y±ya½ nisinno hoti pallaªka½ ±bhujitv± uju½ k±ya½ paºidh±ya parimukha½ sati½ upaµµhapetv±, so samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitun”ti.

Yasmi½, ±vuso, samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu rattiy± pacc³sasamaya½ paccuµµh±ya nisinno hoti pallaªka½ ±bhujitv± uju½ k±ya½ paºidh±ya parimukha½ sati½ upaµµhapetv±, so samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitun”ti.

Tasm± so asamayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitun”ti.
Eva½ vutte ±yasm± mah±kacc±no there bhikkh³ etadavoca– “sammukh± meta½, ±vuso, bhagavato suta½ sammukh± paµiggahita½– ‘chayime, bhikkhu, samay± manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitu½”’.
“Katame cha? Idha, bhikkhu, yasmi½ samaye bhikkhu k±mar±gapariyuµµhitena cetas± viharati k±mar±gaparetena, uppannassa ca k±mar±gassa nissaraºa½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti, tasmi½ samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu upasaªkamitv± evamassa vacan²yo– ‘aha½ kho, ±vuso, k±mar±gapariyuµµhitena cetas± vihar±mi k±mar±gaparetena, uppannassa ca k±mar±gassa nissaraºa½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±mi. S±dhu vata me ±yasm± k±mar±gassa pah±n±ya dhamma½ deset³’ti. Tassa manobh±van²yo bhikkhu k±mar±gassa pah±n±ya dhamma½ deseti. Aya½, bhikkhu, paµhamo samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitu½.
“Puna capara½, bhikkhu, yasmi½ samaye bhikkhu by±p±dapariyuµµhitena cetas± viharati…pe… thinamiddhapariyuµµhitena cetas± viharati… uddhaccakukkuccapariyuµµhitena cetas± viharati… vicikicch±pariyuµµhitena cetas± viharati… ya½ nimitta½ ±gamma ya½ nimitta½ manasikaroto anantar± ±sav±na½ khayo hoti, ta½ nimitta½ na j±n±ti na passati, tasmi½ samaye manobh±van²yo bhikkhu upasaªkamitv± evamassa vacan²yo– ‘aha½ kho, ±vuso, ya½ nimitta½ ±gamma ya½ nimitta½ manasikaroto anantar± ±sav±na½ khayo hoti ta½ nimitta½ na j±n±mi na pass±mi. S±dhu vata me ±yasm± ±sav±na½ khay±ya dhamma½ deset³’ti. Tassa manobh±van²yo bhikkhu ±sav±na½ khay±ya dhamma½ deseti. Aya½, bhikkhu, chaµµho samayo manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitu½.
“Sammukh± meta½, ±vuso, bhagavato suta½ sammukh± paµiggahita½– ‘ime kho, bhikkhu, cha samay± manobh±van²yassa bhikkhuno dassan±ya upasaªkamitu”n’ti. Aµµhama½.
