Atha kho bhagav± ±yasmanta½ ud±yi½ ±mantesi– “ka½ pana tva½, ud±yi, manomaya½ k±ya½ pacces²”ti? “Ye te, bhante, dev± ar³pino sańń±may±”ti. “Ki½ nu kho tuyha½, ud±yi, b±lassa abyattassa bhaŗitena! Tvampi n±ma bhaŗitabba½ mańńas²”ti! Atha kho bhagav± ±yasmanta½ ±nanda½ ±mantesi– “atthi n±ma, ±nanda, thera½ bhikkhu½ vihesiyam±na½ ajjhupekkhissatha Na hi n±ma, ±nanda, k±ruńńampi bhavissati theramhi [byattamhi (sy±. ka½. ka.)] bhikkhumhi vihesiyam±namh²”ti.

Anacchariya½ kho, paneta½ ±vuso upav±ŗa, ya½ bhagav± s±yanhasamaya½ paµisall±n± vuµµhito etadeva ±rabbha ud±hareyya yath± ±yasmanta½yevettha upav±ŗa½ paµibh±seyya. “Kat²hi nu kho, upav±ŗa, dhammehi samann±gato thero bhikkhu sabrahmac±r²na½ piyo ca hoti man±po ca garu ca bh±van²yo c±”ti? “Pańcahi, bhante, dhammehi samann±gato thero bhikkhu sabrahmac±r²na½ piyo ca hoti man±po ca garu ca bh±van²yo ca. Katamehi pańcahi?
