171. [Kath±. 539] “k±ye v±, bhikkhave, sati k±yasañcetan±hetu uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½. V±c±ya v±, bhikkhave, sati vac²sañcetan±hetu uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½. Mane v±, bhikkhave, sati manosañcetan±hetu uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½ avijj±paccay±va.
“S±ma½ v± ta½, bhikkhave, k±yasaªkh±ra½ abhisaªkharoti, ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½. Pare v±ssa [pare v± tassa (ka.)] ta½, bhikkhave, k±yasaªkh±ra½ abhisaªkharonti, ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½. Sampaj±no v± ta½, bhikkhave, k±yasaªkh±ra½ abhisaªkharoti, ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½. “Imesu bhikkhave, dhammesu avijj± anupatit±, avijj±yatveva asesavir±ganirodh± so k±yo na hoti ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½, s± v±c± na hoti ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½, so mano na hoti ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkha½, khetta½ ta½ [vatthu½ ta½ (sabbattha)] na hoti…pe… vatthu½ ta½ na hoti…pe… ±yatana½ ta½ na hoti…pe… adhikaraºa½ ta½ na hoti ya½paccay±ssa ta½ uppajjati ajjhatta½ sukhadukkhan”ti.
“Catt±rome, bhikkhave, attabh±vapaµil±bh±. Katame catt±ro? Atthi, bhikkhave, attabh±vapaµil±bho, yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe attasañcetan± kamati, no parasañcetan±. Atthi, bhikkhave, attabh±vapaµil±bho, yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe parasañcetan± kamati, no attasañcetan±. Atthi, bhikkhave, attabh±vapaµil±bho, yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe attasañcetan± ca kamati parasañcetan± ca. Atthi, bhikkhave, attabh±vapaµil±bho, yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe nevattasañcetan± kamati, no parasañcetan±. Ime kho, bhikkhave, catt±ro attabh±vapaµil±bh±”ti.
Eva½ vutte ±yasm± s±riputto bhagavanta½ etadavoca– “imassa kho aha½, bhante, bhagavat± sa½khittena bh±sitassa eva½ vitth±rena attha½ ±j±n±mi– ‘tatra, bhante, y±ya½ attabh±vapaµil±bho yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe attasañcetan± kamati no parasañcetan±, attasañcetan±hetu tesa½ satt±na½ tamh± k±y± cuti hoti. Tatra, bhante, y±ya½ attabh±vapaµil±bho yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe parasañcetan± kamati no attasañcetan±, parasañcetan±hetu tesa½ satt±na½ tamh± k±y± cuti hoti. Tatra, bhante, y±ya½ attabh±vapaµil±bho yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe attasañcetan± ca kamati parasañcetan± ca, attasañcetan± ca parasañcetan± ca hetu tesa½ satt±na½ tamh± k±y± cuti hoti. Tatra, bhante, y±ya½ attabh±vapaµil±bho yasmi½ attabh±vapaµil±bhe neva attasañcetan± kamati no parasañcetan±, katame tena dev± daµµhabb±”’ti? “Nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatan³pag±, s±riputta, dev± tena daµµhabb±”ti.
“Ko nu kho, bhante, hetu ko paccayo, yena midhekacce satt± tamh± k±y± cut± ±g±mino honti ±gant±ro itthatta½? Ko pana, bhante, hetu ko paccayo, yena midhekacce satt± tamh± k±y± cut± an±g±mino honti an±gant±ro itthattan”ti? “Idha, s±riputta, ekaccassa puggalassa orambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni appah²n±ni honti, so diµµheva dhamme nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatana½ upasampajja viharati. So tadass±deti, ta½ nik±meti, tena ca vitti½ ±pajjati; tattha µhito tadadhimutto tabbahulavih±r² aparih²no k±la½ kurum±no nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatan³pag±na½ dev±na½ sahabyata½ upapajjati. So tato cuto ±g±m² hoti ±gant± itthatta½.
“Idha pana, s±riputta, ekaccassa puggalassa orambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni pah²n±ni honti, so diµµheva dhamme nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatana½ upasampajja viharati. So tadass±deti, ta½ nik±meti, tena ca vitti½ ±pajjati; tattha µhito tadadhimutto tabbahulavih±r² aparih²no k±la½ kurum±no nevasaññ±n±saññ±yatan³pag±na½ dev±na½ sahabyata½ upapajjati. So tato cuto an±g±m² hoti an±gant± itthatta½.
