2. N±landasutta½

378. Eka½ samaya½ bhagav± n±land±ya½ viharati p±v±rikambavane. Atha kho ±yasm± s±riputto yena bhagav± tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± bhagavanta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± s±riputto bhagavanta½ etadavoca– “eva½pasanno aha½, bhante, bhagavati! Na c±hu, na ca bhavissati, na cetarahi vijjati añño samaºo v± br±hmaºo v± bhagavat± bhiyyobhiññataro, yadida½– sambodhiyan”ti. “U¼±r± kho ty±ya½, s±riputta, ±sabh² v±c± bh±sit±, eka½so gahito, s²han±do nadito– ‘eva½pasanno aha½, bhante, bhagavati! Na c±hu, na ca bhavissati na cetarahi vijjati añño samaºo v± br±hmaºo v± bhagavat± bhiyyobhiññataro, yadida½– sambodhiya”n’ti.
“Ki½ nu te, s±riputta, ye te ahesu½ at²tamaddh±na½ arahanto samm±sambuddh±, sabbe te bhagavanto cetas± ceto paricca vidit±– ‘eva½s²l± te bhagavanto ahesu½’ iti v±, ‘eva½dhamm± te bhagavanto ahesu½’ iti v±, ‘eva½paññ± te bhagavanto ahesu½’ iti v±, ‘eva½vih±rino te bhagavanto ahesu½’ iti v±, ‘eva½vimutt± te bhagavanto ahesu½’ iti v±”ti? “No heta½, bhante”!
“Ki½ pana te, s±riputta, ye te bhavissanti an±gatamaddh±na½ arahanto samm±sambuddh±, sabbe te bhagavanto cetas± ceto paricca vidit±– ‘eva½s²l± te bhagavanto bhavissanti’ iti v±, ‘eva½dhamm± te bhagavanto bhavissanti’ iti v±, ‘eva½paññ± te bhagavanto bhavissanti’ iti v±, ‘eva½vih±rino te bhagavanto bhavissanti’ iti v±, ‘eva½vimutt± te bhagavanto bhavissanti’ iti v±”ti? “No heta½, bhante”.
“Ki½ pana ty±ha½ [ki½ pana te (s².)], s±riputta, etarahi, araha½ samm±sambuddho cetas± ceto paricca vidito– ‘eva½s²lo bhagav±’ iti v±, ‘eva½dhammo bhagav±’ iti v±, ‘eva½pañño bhagav±’ iti v±, ‘eva½vih±r² bhagav±’ iti v±, ‘eva½vimutto bhagav±’ iti v±”ti? “No heta½, bhante”.
“Ettha ca te, s±riputta, at²t±n±gatapaccuppannesu arahantesu samm±sambuddhesu cetopariyañ±ºa½ [cetopariy±yañ±ºa½ (bah³su)] natthi. Atha kiñcarahi ty±ya½, s±riputta, u¼±r± ±sabh² v±c± bh±sit±, eka½so gahito, s²han±do nadito– ‘eva½pasanno aha½, bhante, bhagavati! Na c±hu, na ca bhavissati, na cetarahi vijjati añño samaºo v± br±hmaºo v± bhagavat±’ bhiyyobhiññataro, yadida½– sambodhiyan”ti?
“Na kho me [na kho me ta½ (sy±. ka½. ka.)], bhante, at²t±n±gatapaccuppannesu arahantesu samm±sambuddhesu cetopariyañ±ºa½ atthi, api ca me dhammanvayo vidito. Seyyath±pi, bhante, rañño paccantima½ nagara½ da¼huddh±pa½ [da¼hudd±pa½ (s². p². ka.), da¼haddh±pa½ (sy±. ka½.)] da¼hap±k±ratoraºa½ ekadv±ra½. Tatrassa dov±riko paº¹ito byatto medh±v² aññ±t±na½ niv±ret± ñ±t±na½ paveset±. So tassa nagarassa samant± anupariy±yapatha½ anukkamam±no na passeyya p±k±rasandhi½ v± p±k±ravivara½ v±, antamaso bi¼±ranikkhamanamattampi. Tassa evamassa– ‘ye kho keci o¼±rik± p±º± ima½ nagara½ pavisanti v± nikkhamanti v±, sabbe te imin±va dv±rena pavisanti v± nikkhamanti v±’ti. Evameva kho me, bhante, dhammanvayo vidito– ‘yepi te, bhante, ahesu½ at²tamaddh±na½ arahanto samm±sambuddh±, sabbe te bhagavanto pañca n²varaºe pah±ya, cetaso upakkilese paññ±ya dubbal²karaºe, cat³su satipaµµh±nesu suppatiµµhitacitt±, satta bojjhaªge yath±bh³ta½ bh±vetv±, anuttara½ samm±sambodhi½ abhisambujjhi½su. Yepi te, bhante, bhavissanti an±gatamaddh±na½ arahanto samm±sambuddh±, sabbe te bhagavanto pañca n²varaºe pah±ya, cetaso upakkilese paññ±ya dubbal²karaºe, cat³su satipaµµh±nesu suppatiµµhitacitt±, satta bojjhaªge yath±bh³ta½ bh±vetv±, anuttara½ samm±sambodhi½ abhisambujjhissanti. Bhagav±pi, bhante, etarahi araha½ samm±sambuddho pañca n²varaºe pah±ya, cetaso upakkilese paññ±ya dubbal²karaºe, cat³su satipaµµh±nesu suppatiµµhitacitto, satta bojjhaªge yath±bh³ta½ bh±vetv±, anuttara½ samm±sambodhi½ abhisambuddho”’ti.
“S±dhu s±dhu, s±riputta! Tasm±tiha tva½, s±riputta, ima½ dhammapariy±ya½ abhikkhaºa½ bh±seyy±si bhikkh³na½ bhikkhun²na½ up±sak±na½ up±sik±na½. Yesampi hi, s±riputta, moghapuris±na½ bhavissati tath±gate kaªkh± v± vimati v±, tesampima½ dhammapariy±ya½ sutv± y± tath±gate kaªkh± v± vimati v± s± pah²yissat²”ti. Dutiya½.
