264. Atha kho ±yasm± ±nando yena bhagav± tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± bhagavanta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinna½ kho ±yasmanta½ ±nanda½ bhagav± etadavoca– “katam± nu kho, ±nanda, vedan±, katamo vedan±samudayo, katamo vedan±nirodho katam± vedan±nirodhag±min² paµipad±? Ko vedan±ya ass±do, ko ±d²navo, ki½ nissaraºan”ti? “Bhagava½m³lak± no, bhante, dhamm± bhagavannettik± bhagavampaµisaraº±. S±dhu, bhante, bhagavantaññeva paµibh±tu etassa bh±sitassa attho. Bhagavato sutv± bhikkh³ dh±ressant²”ti. “Tena hi, ±nanda, suºohi, s±dhuka½ manasi karohi; bh±siss±m²”ti. “Eva½, bhante”ti kho ±yasm± ±nando bhagavato paccassosi. Bhagav± etadavoca– “tisso im±, ±nanda, vedan±– sukh± vedan±, dukkh± vedan±, adukkhamasukh± vedan±– im± vuccanti, ±nanda, vedan±…pe… phassasamuday±…pe… kh²º±savassa bhikkhuno r±go paµippassaddho hoti, doso paµippassaddho hoti, moho paµippassaddho hot²”ti.
