244. Yato kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sabbesa½yeva dukkhadhamm±na½ samudayañca atthaªgamañca yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti. Tath± kho panassa k±m± diµµh± honti, yath±ssa k±me passato, yo k±mesu k±macchando k±masneho k±mamucch± k±mapari¼±ho, so n±nuseti. Tath± kho panassa c±ro ca vih±ro ca anubuddho hoti, yath± caranta½ viharanta½ abhijjh±domanass± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± n±nusenti.
“Kathañca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sabbesa½yeva dukkhadhamm±na½ samudayañca atthaªgamañca yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti? ‘Iti r³pa½, iti r³passa samudayo, iti r³passa atthaªgamo; iti vedan±… iti saññ±… iti saªkh±r±… iti viññ±ºa½, iti viññ±ºassa samudayo, iti viññ±ºassa atthaªgamo’ti– eva½ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sabbesa½yeva dukkhadhamm±na½ samudayañca atthaªgamañca yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti.
“Kathañca, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno k±m± diµµh± honti? Yath±ssa k±me passato, yo k±mesu k±macchando k±masneho k±mamucch± k±mapari¼±ho, so n±nuseti. Seyyath±pi, bhikkhave, aªg±rak±su s±dhikaporis± puºº± aªg±r±na½ v²taccik±na½ v²tadh³m±na½. Atha puriso ±gaccheyya j²vituk±mo amarituk±mo sukhak±mo dukkhapaµik³lo. Tamena½ dve balavanto puris± n±n±b±h±su gahetv±, ta½ aªg±rak±su½ upaka¹¹heyyu½. So itic²ticeva k±ya½ sann±meyya. Ta½ kissa hetu? ѱta [ñ±ºa½ (ka.)] ñhi, bhikkhave, tassa purisassa [purisassa hoti (s². sy±. ka½. p².), purisassa hetu hoti (ka.) ma. ni. 2.45] ima½ c±ha½ aªg±rak±su½ papatiss±mi, tatonid±na½ maraºa½ v± nigacchiss±mi maraºamatta½ v± dukkhanti. Evameva kho bhikkhave bhikkhuno aªg±rak±s³pam± k±m± diµµh± honti, yath±ssa k±me passato, yo k±mesu k±macchando k±masneho k±mamucch± k±mapari¼±ho, so n±nuseti.
“Kathañca, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno c±ro ca vih±ro ca anubuddho hoti, yath± caranta½ viharanta½ abhijjh±domanass± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± n±nussavanti [n±nusenti (ka.)]? Seyyath±pi, bhikkhave, puriso bahukaºµaka½ d±ya½ paviseyya. Tassa puratopi kaºµako, pacchatopi kaºµako, uttaratopi kaºµako, dakkhiºatopi kaºµako, heµµhatopi kaºµako, uparitopi kaºµako. So satova abhikkameyya, satova paµikkameyya– ‘m± ma½ kaºµako’ti. Evameva kho, bhikkhave, ya½ loke piyar³pa½ s±tar³pa½, aya½ vuccati ariyassa vinaye kaºµako”ti. Iti viditv± [kaº¹ako. “Kathañca, bhikkhave, asa½varo hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu cakkhun± r³pa½ disv± piyar³pe r³pe adhimuccati, appiyar³pe r³pe by±pajjati, anupaµµhitak±yassati ca viharati parittacetaso, tañca cetovimutti½ paññ±vimutti½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti, yatthassa te uppann± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± aparises± nirujjhanti…pe… jivh±ya rasa½ s±yitv±…pe… manas± dhamma½ viññ±ya piyar³pe dhamme adhimuccati, appiyar³pe dhamme by±pajjati, anupaµµhitak±yassati ca viharati parittacetaso, tañca cetovimutti½ paññ±vimutti½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti yatthassa te uppann± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± aparises± nirujjhanti. Eva½ kho, bhikkhave, asa½varo hoti.
“Kathañca, bhikkhave, sa½varo hoti? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu cakkhun± r³pa½ disv± piyar³pe r³pe n±dhimuccati, appiyar³pe r³pe na by±pajjati, upaµµhitak±yassati ca viharati appam±ºacetaso, tañca cetovimutti½ paññ±vimutti½ yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti, yatthassa te uppann± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± aparises± nirujjhanti…pe… jivh± rasa½ s±yitv±…pe… manas± dhamma½ viññ±ya piyar³pe dhamme n±dhimuccati, appiyar³pe dhamme na by±pajjati, upaµµhitak±yassati ca viharati appam±ºacetaso, tañca cetovimutti½ paññ±vimutti½ yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±ti, yatthassa te uppann± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± aparises± nirujjhanti. “Tassa ce, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno eva½ carato eva½ viharato kad±ci karahaci satisammos± uppajjanti, p±pak± akusal± sarasaªkapp± sa½yojaniy±, dandho, bhikkhave, satupp±do. Atha kho na½ khippameva pajahati vinodeti byant²karoti anabh±va½ gameti.
“Seyyath±pi, bhikkhave, puriso divasa½santatte [divasasantatte (s².)] ayokaµ±he dve v± t²ºi v± udakaphusit±ni nip±teyya. Dandho, bhikkhave, udakaphusit±na½ nip±to, atha kho na½ khippameva parikkhaya½ pariy±d±na½ gaccheyya. Evameva kho, bhikkhave, tassa ce bhikkhuno eva½ carato, eva½ viharato kad±ci karahaci satisammos± uppajjanti p±pak± akusal± sarasaªkapp± sa½yojaniy±, dandho, bhikkhave, satupp±do. Atha kho na½ khippameva pajahati vinodeti byant²karoti anabh±va½ gameti. Eva½ kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno c±ro ca vih±ro ca anubuddho hoti; yath± caranta½ viharanta½ abhijjh±domanass± p±pak± akusal± dhamm± n±nussavanti. Tañce, bhikkhave, bhikkhu½ eva½ caranta½ eva½ viharanta½ r±j±no v± r±jamah±matt± v± mitt± v± amacc± v± ñ±t² v± s±lohit± v±, bhogehi abhihaµµhu½ pav±reyyu½– ‘ehi [eva½ (s².)], bho purisa, ki½ te ime k±s±v± anudahanti, ki½ muº¹o kap±lamanucarasi, ehi h²n±y±vattitv± bhoge ca bhuñjassu, puññ±ni ca karoh²’ti. So vata, bhikkhave, bhikkhu eva½ caranto eva½ viharanto sikkha½ paccakkh±ya h²n±y±vattissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjati.
“Seyyath±pi bhikkhave, gaªg± nad² p±c²naninn± p±c²napoº± p±c²napabbh±r±. Atha mah±janak±yo ±gaccheyya kudd±la-piµaka½ ±d±ya– ‘maya½ ima½ gaªga½ nadi½ pacch±ninna½ kariss±ma pacch±poºa½ pacch±pabbh±ran’ti. Ta½ ki½ maññatha, bhikkhave, api nu kho so mah±janak±yo gaªga½ nadi½ pacch±ninna½ kareyya pacch±poºa½ pacch±pabbh±ran”ti? “No heta½, bhante”. “Ta½ kissa hetu”? “Gaªg±, bhante, nad² p±c²naninn± p±c²napoº± p±c²napabbh±r±; s± na sukar± pacch±ninn± k±tu½ pacch±poº± pacch±pabbh±r±. Y±vadeva ca pana so mah±janak±yo kilamathassa vigh±tassa bh±g² ass±”ti. “Evameva kho, bhikkhave, tañce bhikkhu½ eva½ caranta½ eva½ viharanta½ r±j±no v± r±jamah±matt± v± mitt± v± amacc± v± ñ±t² v± s±lohit± v± bhogehi abhihaµµhu½ pav±reyyu½– ‘ehi, bho purisa, ki½ te ime k±s±v± anudahanti, ki½ muº¹o kap±lamanucarasi, ehi h²n±y±vattitv± bhoge ca bhuñjassu, puññ±ni ca karoh²’ti. So vata, bhikkhave, bhikkhu eva½ caranto eva½ viharanto sikkha½ paccakkh±ya h²n±y±vattissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjati. Ta½ kissa hetu? Yañhi ta½, bhikkhave, citta½ d²gharatta½ vivekaninna½ vivekapoºa½ vivekapabbh±ra½, tath± [kañca (sy±. ka½. ka.)] h²n±y±vattissat²ti neta½ µh±na½ vijjat²”ti. Sattama½.
