234. Eka½ samaya½ ±yasm± ca ±nando ±yasm± ca ud±y² kosambiya½ viharanti ghosit±r±me. Atha kho ±yasm± ud±y² s±yanhasamaya½ paµisall±n± vuµµhito yen±yasm± ±nando tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmat± ±nandena saddhi½ sammodi. Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± ud±y² ±yasmanta½ ±nanda½ etadavoca–
“Yatheva nu kho, ±vuso ±nanda, aya½ k±yo bhagavat± anekapariy±yena akkh±to vivaµo pak±sito– ‘itip±ya½ k±yo anatt±’ti, sakk± evameva viññ±ºa½ pida½ ±cikkhitu½ desetu½ paññapetu½ paµµhapetu½ vivaritu½ vibhajitu½ utt±n²k±tu½– ‘itipida½ viññ±ºa½ anatt±”’ti?
“Yatheva kho, ±vuso ud±y², aya½ k±yo bhagavat± anekapariy±yena akkh±to vivaµo pak±sito– ‘itip±ya½ k±yo anatt±’ti, sakk± evameva viññ±ºa½ pida½ ±cikkhitu½ desetu½ paññapetu½ paµµhapetu½ vivaritu½ vibhajitu½ utt±n²k±tu½– ‘itipida½ viññ±ºa½ anatt±”’ti.
“Cakkhuñca, ±vuso, paµicca r³pe ca uppajjati cakkhuviññ±ºan”ti? “Evam±vuso”ti “Yo c±vuso, hetu, yo ca paccayo cakkhuviññ±ºassa upp±d±ya, so ca hetu, so ca paccayo sabbena sabba½ sabbath± sabba½ aparisesa½ nirujjheyya. Api nu kho cakkhuviññ±ºa½ paññ±yeth±”ti? “No heta½, ±vuso”. “Imin±pi kho eta½, ±vuso, pariy±yena bhagavat± akkh±ta½ vivaµa½ pak±sita½– ‘itipida½ viññ±ºa½ anatt±”’ti…pe….
“Jivhañc±vuso, paµicca rase ca uppajjati jivh±viññ±ºan”ti? “Evam±vuso”ti. “Yo c±vuso, hetu yo ca paccayo jivh±viññ±ºassa upp±d±ya, so ca hetu, so ca paccayo sabbena sabba½ sabbath± sabba½ aparisesa½ nirujjheyya, api nu kho jivh±viññ±ºa½ paññ±yeth±”ti? “No heta½, ±vuso”. “Imin±pi kho eta½, ±vuso, pariy±yena bhagavat± akkh±ta½ vivaµa½ pak±sita½– ‘itipida½ viññ±ºa½ anatt±”’ti…pe….
“Manañc±vuso, paµicca dhamme ca uppajjati manoviññ±ºan”ti? “Evam±vuso”ti. “Yo c±vuso, hetu, yo ca paccayo manoviññ±ºassa upp±d±ya, so ca hetu, so ca paccayo sabbena sabba½ sabbath± sabba½ aparisesa½ nirujjheyya, api nu kho manoviññ±ºa½ paññ±yeth±”ti? “No heta½, ±vuso”. “Imin±pi kho eta½, ±vuso, pariy±yena bhagavat± akkh±ta½ vivaµa½ pak±sita½– ‘itipida½ viññ±ºa½ anatt±”’ti.
“Seyyath±pi, ±vuso, puriso s±ratthiko s±ragaves² s±rapariyesana½ caram±no tiºha½ kuµh±ri½ ±d±ya vana½ paviseyya. So tattha passeyya mahanta½ kadalikkhandha½ uju½ nava½ akukkukaj±ta½ [akukkuµakaj±ta½ (sy±. ka½.), akukkajaµaj±ta½ (ka.)]. Tamena½ m³le chindeyya m³le chetv± agge chindeyya; agge chetv± pattavaµµi½ vinibbhujeyya [vinibbhujjeyya (p².), vinibbhajjeyya (sy±. ka½.)]. So tattha pheggumpi n±dhigaccheyya, kuto s±ra½! Evameva kho, ±vuso, bhikkhu chasu phass±yatanesu nevatt±na½ na attaniya½ samanupassati. So eva½ asamanupassanto [eva½ samanupassanto (sy±. ka½. ka.)] na kiñci loke up±diyati. Anup±diya½ na paritassati. Aparitassa½ paccattaññeva parinibb±yati. ‘Kh²º± j±ti, vusita½ brahmacariya½, kata½ karaº²ya½, n±para½ itthatt±y±’ti paj±n±t²”ti. Sattama½.
