90. Eka½ samaya½ sambahul± ther± bhikkh³ b±r±ºasiya½ viharanti isipatane migad±ye. Atha kho ±yasm± channo s±yanhasamaya½ paµisall±n± vuµµhito av±puraºa½ [ap±puraºa½ (s². sy±. ka½.)] ±d±ya vih±rena vih±ra½ upasaªkamitv± there bhikkh³ etadavoca– “ovadantu ma½ ±yasmanto ther±, anus±santu ma½ ±yasmanto ther±, karontu me ±yasmanto ther± dhammi½ katha½, yath±ha½ dhamma½ passeyyan”ti.
Eva½ vutte, ther± bhikkh³ ±yasmanta½ channa½ etadavocu½– “r³pa½ kho, ±vuso channa, anicca½; vedan± anicc±; saññ± anicc±; saªkh±r± anicc±; viññ±ºa½ anicca½. R³pa½ anatt±; vedan±… saññ±… saªkh±r±… viññ±ºa½ anatt±. Sabbe saªkh±r± anicc±; sabbe dhamm± anatt±”ti.
Atha kho ±yasmato channassa etadahosi– “mayhampi kho eta½ eva½ [mayhampi kho eva½ (sy±. ka½.)] hoti– ‘r³pa½ anicca½, vedan±… saññ±… saªkh±r±… viññ±ºa½ anicca½; r³pa½ anatt±, vedan± saññ±… saªkh±r±… viññ±ºa½ anatt±. Sabbe saªkh±r± anicc±, sabbe dhamm± anatt±’ti. Atha ca pana me sabbasaªkh±rasamathe sabb³padhipaµinissagge taºh±kkhaye vir±ge nirodhe nibb±ne citta½ na pakkhandati nappas²dati na santiµµhati n±dhimuccati. Paritassan± up±d±na½ uppajjati; paccud±vattati m±nasa½– ‘atha ko carahi me att±’ti Na kho paneva½ dhamma½ passato hoti. Ko nu kho me tath± dhamma½ deseyya yath±ha½ dhamma½ passeyyan”ti.
Atha kho ±yasmato channassa etadahosi– “aya½ kho ±yasm± ±nando kosambiya½ viharati ghosit±r±me satthu ceva sa½vaººito sambh±vito ca viññ³na½ sabrahmac±r²na½, pahoti ca me ±yasm± ±nando tath± dhamma½ desetu½ yath±ha½ dhamma½ passeyya½; atthi ca me ±yasmante ±nande t±vatik± vissaµµhi [vissatthi (?)]. Ya½n³n±ha½ yen±yasm± ±nando tenupasaªkameyyan”ti. Atha kho ±yasm± channo sen±sana½ sa½s±metv± pattac²varam±d±ya yena kosamb² ghosit±r±mo yen±yasm± ±nando tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmat± ±nandena saddhi½ sammodi…pe… ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± channo ±yasmanta½ ±nanda½ etadavoca–
“Ekamid±ha½ ±vuso ±nanda, samaya½ b±r±ºasiya½ vihar±mi isipatane migad±ye. Sabbe saªkh±r± anicc±, sabbe dhamm± anatt±’ti. Atha ca pana me sabbasaªkh±rasamathe sabb³padhipaµinissagge taºh±kkhaye vir±ge nirodhe nibb±ne citta½ na pakkhandati nappas²dati na santiµµhati n±dhimuccati. Paritassan± up±d±na½ uppajjati; paccud±vattati m±nasa½– ‘atha ko carahi me att±’ti? Na kho paneva½ dhamma½ passato hoti. Ko nu kho me tath± dhamma½ deseyya yath±ha½ dhamma½ passeyyanti!

Atthi ca me ±yasmante ±nande t±vatik± vissaµµhi. Ya½n³n±ha½ yen±yasm± ±nando tenupasaªkameyyan’ti. Ovadatu ma½, ±yasm± ±nando; anus±satu ma½, ±yasm± ±nando; karotu me, ±yasm± ±nando dhammi½ katha½ yath±ha½ dhamma½ passeyyan”ti.
“Ettakenapi maya½ ±yasmato channassa attaman± api n±ma ta½ [attaman± abhiraddh±, ta½ (s². sy±. ka½.)] ±yasm± channo ±vi ak±si kh²la½ chindi [pabhindi (s². sy±. ka½. p².)]. Odah±vuso, channa sota½; bhabbosi [bhabbo tva½ (ka.)] dhamma½ viññ±tun”ti. Atha kho ±yasmato channassa t±vatakeneva [t±vadeva (s².)] u¼±ra½ p²tip±mojja½ uppajji– “bhabbo kirasmi dhamma½ viññ±tun”ti.
“Sammukh± meta½, ±vuso channa, bhagavato suta½, sammukh± ca paµiggahita½ kacc±nagotta½ bhikkhu½ ovadantassa– dvayanissito khv±ya½, kacc±na, loko yebhuyyena atthitañceva natthitañca. Lokasamudaya½ kho, kacc±na, yath±bh³ta½ sammappaññ±ya passato y± loke natthit±, s± na hoti. Lokanirodha½ kho, kacc±na, yath±bh³ta½ sammappaññ±ya passato y± loke atthit±, s± na hoti. Upayup±d±n±bhinivesavinibandho khv±ya½, kacc±na, loko yebhuyyena ta½ c±ya½ upayup±d±na½ cetaso adhiµµh±n±bhinives±nusaya½ na upeti na up±diyati n±dhiµµh±ti ‘att± me’ti. Dukkhameva uppajjam±na½ uppajjati, dukkha½ nirujjham±na½ nirujjhat²ti na kaªkhati na vicikicchati. Aparappaccay± ñ±ºamevassa ettha hoti. Ett±vat± kho, kacc±na, samm±diµµhi hoti. Sabbamatth²ti kho, kacc±na, ayameko anto. Sabba½ natth²ti aya½ dutiyo anto. Ete te, kacc±na, ubho ante anupagamma majjhena tath±gato dhamma½ deseti– avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±; saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºa½…pe… evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa samudayo hoti. Avijj±ya tveva asesavir±ganirodh± saªkh±ranirodho…pe… evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa nirodho hot²”ti.
“Evameta½, ±vuso ±nanda, hoti yesa½ ±yasmant±na½ t±dis± sabrahmac±rayo anukampak± atthak±m± ov±dak± anus±sak±. Idañca pana me ±yasmato ±nandassa dhammadesana½ sutv± dhammo abhisamito”ti. Aµµhama½.
