Atha kho sambahul± aññatitthiy± paribb±jak± yena ±yasm± anur±dho tenupasaªkami½su; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmat± anur±dhena saddhi½ sammodi½su. Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di½su. Ekamanta½ nisinn± kho te aññatitthiy± paribb±jak± ±yasmanta½ anur±dha½ etadavocu½– “yo so, ±vuso anur±dha, tath±gato uttamapuriso paramapuriso paramapattipatto, ta½ tath±gato imesu cat³su µh±nesu paññ±payam±no paññ±peti– ‘hoti tath±gato para½ maraº±’ti v±, ‘na hoti tath±gato para½ maraº±’ti v±, ‘hoti ca na ca hoti tath±gato para½ maraº±’ti v±, ‘neva hoti na na hoti tath±gato para½ maraº±’ti v±”ti?

Atha kho ±yasmato anur±dhassa acirapakkantesu tesu aññatitthiyesu paribb±jakesu etadahosi– “sace kho ma½ te aññatitthiy± paribb±jak± uttari½ pañha½ puccheyyu½. Katha½ by±karam±no nu khv±ha½ tesa½ aññatitthiy±na½ paribb±jak±na½ vuttav±d² ceva bhagavato assa½, na ca bhagavanta½ abh³tena abbh±cikkheyya½, dhammassa c±nudhamma½ by±kareyya½, na ca koci sahadhammiko v±d±nuv±do g±rayha½ µh±na½ ±gaccheyy±”ti?
