22. S±vatthiya½ tatra kho “bh±rañca vo, bhikkhave, desess±mi bh±rah±rañca bh±r±d±nañca bh±ranikkhepanañca. Ta½ suº±tha. Katamo ca, bhikkhave, bh±ro? Pañcup±d±nakkhandh± tissa vacan²ya½. Katame pañca? R³pup±d±nakkhandho, vedanup±d±nakkhandho, saññup±d±nakkhandho, saªkh±rup±d±nakkhandho, viññ±ºup±d±nakkhandho; aya½ vuccati, bhikkhave, bh±ro”.
“Katamo ca, bhikkhave, bh±rah±ro Puggalo tissa vacan²ya½. Yv±ya½ ±yasm± eva½n±mo eva½gotto; aya½ vuccati, bhikkhave, bh±rah±ro.
“Katamañca bhikkhave, bh±r±d±na½? Y±ya½ taºh± ponobhavik± [ponobbhavik± (sy±. ka½. ka.)] nand²r±gasahagat± [nandir±gasahagat± (sabbattha)] tatratatr±bhinandin², seyyathida½– k±mataºh±, bhavataºh±, vibhavataºh±. Ida½ vuccati, bhikkhave, bh±r±d±na½.
“Katamañca, bhikkhave, bh±ranikkhepana½? Yo tass±yeva taºh±ya asesavir±ganirodho c±go paµinissaggo mutti an±layo. Ida½ vuccati, bhikkhave, bh±ranikkhepanan”ti.
Idamavoca bhagav±. Ida½ vatv±na [vatv± (s².) evam²disesu µh±nesu] sugato ath±para½ etadavoca satth±–
“Bh±r± have pañcakkhandh±, bh±rah±ro ca puggalo;
bh±r±d±na½ dukha½ loke, bh±ranikkhepana½ sukha½.
“Nikkhipitv± garu½ bh±ra½, añña½ bh±ra½ an±diya;
sam³la½ taºhamabbuyha [taºhamabbhuyha (p². ka.)], nicch±to parinibbuto”ti. Paµhama½.
