55. Tatiye ud±na½ ud±nes²ti balavasomanassasamuµµh±na½ ud±na½ ud±hari. Ki½ niss±ya panesa bhagavato uppannoti. S±sanassa niyy±nikabh±va½. Katha½? Eva½ kirassa ahosi, “tayome upanissay±– d±n³panissayo s²l³panissayo bh±van³panissayo c±”ti. Tesu d±nas²l³panissay± dubbal±, bh±van³panissayo balav±. D±nas²l³panissay± hi tayo magge ca phal±ni ca p±penti, bh±van³panissayo arahatta½ p±peti. Iti dubbal³panissaye patiµµhito bhikkhu ghaµento v±yamanto pañcorambh±giy±ni bandhan±ni chetv± t²ºi maggaphal±ni nibbatteti, “aho s±sana½ niyy±nikan”ti ±vajjentassa aya½ udap±di.
Tattha “dubbal³panissaye µhatv± ghaµam±no t²ºi maggaphal±ni p±puº±t²”ti imassatthass±vibh±vanattha½ milakattherassa vatthu veditabba½– so kira gihik±le p±º±tip±takammena j²vika½ kappento araññe p±sasatañceva ad³halasatañca yojesi. Athekadivasa½ aªg±rapakkama½sa½ kh±ditv± p±saµµh±nesu vicaranto pip±s±bhibh³to ekassa araññav±sittherassa vih±ra½ gantv± therassa caªkamantassa avid³re µhita½ p±n²yaghaµa½ vivari, hatthatemanamattampi udaka½ n±ddasa. So kujjhitv± ±ha– “bhikkhu, bhikkhu tumhe gahapatikehi dinna½ bhuñjitv± bhuñjitv± supatha, p±n²yaghaµe añjalimattampi udaka½ na µhapetha, na yuttametan”ti. Thero “may± p±n²yaghaµo p³retv± µhapito, ki½ nu kho etan”ti? Gantv± olokento paripuººaghaµa½ disv± p±n²yasaªkha½ p³retv± ad±si. So dvattisaªkhap³ra½ pivitv± cintesi– “eva½ p³ritaghaµo n±ma mama kamma½ ±gamma tattakap±lo viya j±to. Ki½ nu kho an±gate attabh±ve bhavissat²”ti? Sa½viggacitto dhanu½ cha¹¹etv±, “pabb±jetha ma½, bhante”ti ±ha. Thero tacapañcakakammaµµh±na½ ±cikkhitv± ta½ pabb±jesi.
Tassa samaºadhamma½ karontassa bah³na½ migas³kar±na½ m±ritaµµh±na½ p±sa-ad³hal±nañca yojitaµµh±na½ upaµµh±ti. Ta½ anussarato sar²re d±ho uppajjati, k³µagoºo viya kammaµµh±nampi v²thi½ na paµipajjati. So “ki½ kariss±mi bhikkhubh±ven±”ti Anabhiratiy± p²¼ito therassa santika½ gantv± vanditv± ±ha– “na sakkomi, bhante, samaºadhamma½ k±tun”ti. Atha na½ thero “hatthakamma½ karoh²”ti ±ha. So “s±dhu, bhante”ti vatv± udumbar±dayo allarukkhe chinditv± mahanta½ r±si½ katv±, “id±ni ki½ karom²”ti pucchi? Jh±pehi nanti. So cat³su dis±su aggi½ datv± jh±petu½ asakkonto, “bhante, na sakkom²”ti ±ha. Thero “tena hi apeh²”ti pathavi½ dvidh± katv± av²cito khajjopanakamatta½ aggi½ n²haritv± tattha pakkhipi. So t±va mahanta½ r±si½ sukkhapaººa½ viya khaºena jh±pesi. Athassa thero av²ci½ dassetv±, “sace vibbhamissasi, ettha paccissas²”ti sa½vega½ janesi. So av²cidassanato paµµh±ya pavedham±no “niyy±nika½, bhante, buddhas±sanan”ti pucchi, ±m±vusoti. Bhante, buddhas±sanassa niyy±nikatte sati milako attamokkha½ karissati, m± cintayitth±ti. Tato paµµh±ya samaºadhamma½ karoti ghaµeti, tassa vattapaµivatta½ p³reti, nidd±ya b±dhayam±n±ya tinta½ pal±la½ s²se µhapetv± p±de soº¹iya½ ot±retv± nis²dati. So ekadivasa½ p±n²ya½ pariss±vetv± ghaµa½ ³rumhi µhapetv± udakamaºik±na½ paccheda½ ±gamayam±no aµµh±si. Atha kho thero s±maºerassa ima½ uddesa½ deti–
“Uµµh±navato sat²mato,
sucikammassa nisammak±rino;
saññatassa dhammaj²vino,
appamattassa yasobhiva¹¹hat²”ti. (Dha. pa. 24).
So catuppadikampi ta½ g±tha½ attaniyeva upanesi– “uµµh±navat± n±ma m±disena bhavitabba½. Satimat±pi m±diseneva…pe… appamattenapi m±diseneva bhavitabban”ti. Eva½ ta½ g±tha½ attani upanetv± tasmi½yeva padav±re µhito pañcorambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni chinditv± an±g±miphale patiµµh±ya haµµhatuµµho–
“Alla½ pal±lapuñj±ha½, s²sen±d±ya caªkami½;
pattosmi tatiya½ µh±na½, ettha me natthi sa½sayo”ti.–

Ima½ ud±nag±tha½ ±ha. Eva½ dubbal³panissaye µhito ghaµento v±yamanto pañcorambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni chinditv± t²ºi maggaphal±ni nibbatteti. Ten±ha bhagav±– “no cassa½, no ca me siy±, n±bhavissa, na me bhavissat²ti eva½ adhimuccam±no bhikkhu chindeyya orambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±n²”ti.

Tattha no cassa½, no ca me siy±ti sace aha½ na bhaveyya½, mama parikkh±ropi na bhaveyya. Sace v± pana me at²te kamm±bhisaªkh±ro n±bhavissa, ida½ me etarahi khandhapañcaka½ na bhaveyya. N±bhavissa, na me bhavissat²ti id±ni pana tath± parakkamiss±mi, yath± me ±yati½ khandh±bhinibbattako kammasaªkh±ro na bhavissati, tasmi½ asati ±yati½ paµisandhi n±ma na me bhavissati. Eva½ adhimuccam±noti eva½ adhimuccanto bhikkhu dubbal³panissaye µhito pañcorambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni chindeyya. Eva½ vutteti eva½ s±sanassa niyy±nikabh±va½ ±vajjentena bhagavat± imasmi½ ud±ne vutte. R³pa½ vibhavissat²ti r³pa½ bhijjissati. R³passa vibhav±ti vibhavadassanena sahavipassanena. Sahavipassanak± hi catt±ro magg± r³p±d²na½ vibhavadassana½ n±ma. Ta½ sandh±yeta½ vutta½. Eva½ adhimuccam±no, bhante, bhikkhu chindeyy±ti, bhante, eva½ adhimuccam±no bhikkhu chindeyyeva pañcorambh±giy±ni sa½yojan±ni. Kasm± na chindissat²ti?
Id±ni upari maggaphala½ pucchanto katha½ pana, bhanteti-±dim±ha. Tattha anantar±ti dve anantar±ni ±sann±nantarañca d³r±nantarañca. Vipassan± maggassa ±sann±nantara½ n±ma, phalassa d³r±nantara½ n±ma. Ta½ sandh±ya “katha½ pana, bhante, j±nato katha½ passato vipassan±nantar± ‘±sav±na½ khayo’ti saªkha½ gata½ arahattaphala½ hot²”ti pucchati. Atasit±yeti atasitabbe abh±yitabbe µh±namhi. T±sa½ ±pajjat²ti bhaya½ ±pajjati. T±so hesoti y± es± “no cassa½, no ca me siy±”ti eva½ pavatt± dubbalavipassan±, s± yasm± attasineha½ pariy±d±tu½ na sakkoti, tasm± assutavato puthujjanassa t±so n±ma hoti. So hi “id±n±ha½ ucchijjiss±mi, na d±ni kiñci bhaviss±m²”ti att±na½ pap±te patanta½ viya passati aññataro br±hmaºo viya. Lohap±s±dassa kira heµµh± tipiµakac³¼an±gatthero tilakkhaº±hata½ dhamma½ parivatteti. Atha aññatarassa br±hmaºassa ekamante µhatv± dhamma½ suºantassa saªkh±r± suññato upaµµhahi½su. So pap±te patanto viya hutv± vivaµadv±rena tato pal±yitv± geha½ pavisitv±, putta½ ure say±petv±, “t±ta, sakyasamaya½ ±vajjento manamhi naµµho”ti ±ha. Na heso bhikkhu t±soti es± eva½ pavatt± balavavipassan± sutavato ariyas±vakassa na t±so n±ma hoti. Na hi tassa eva½ hoti “aha½ ucchijjiss±m²”ti v± “vinassiss±m²”ti v±ti. Eva½ pana hoti “saªkh±r±va uppajjanti, saªkh±r±va nirujjhant²”ti. Tatiya½.
