67. Eka½ samaya½ ±yasm± ca s±riputto ±yasm± ca mah±koµµhiko [mah±koµµhito (s². sy±. ka½. p².)] b±r±ºasiya½ viharanti isipatane migad±ye. Atha kho ±yasm± mah±koµµhiko s±yanhasamaya½ paµisall±n± vuµµhito yen±yasm± s±riputto tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± ±yasmat± s±riputtena saddhi½ sammodi. Sammodan²ya½ katha½ s±raº²ya½ v²tis±retv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinno kho ±yasm± mah±koµµhiko ±yasmanta½ s±riputta½ etadavoca– “ki½ nu kho, ±vuso s±riputta, saya½kata½ jar±maraºa½, para½kata½ jar±maraºa½, saya½katañca para½katañca jar±maraºa½, ud±hu asaya½k±ra½ apara½k±ra½ adhiccasamuppanna½ jar±maraºan”ti? “Na kho, ±vuso koµµhika, saya½kata½ jar±maraºa½, na para½kata½ jar±maraºa½, na saya½katañca para½katañca jar±maraºa½, n±pi asaya½k±ra½ apara½k±ra½ adhiccasamuppanna½ jar±maraºa½.
