33. S±vatthiya½…pe… “catucatt±r²sa½ vo, bhikkhave, ñ±ºavatth³ni desess±mi, ta½ suº±tha, s±dhuka½ manasi karotha; bh±siss±m²”ti. “Eva½, bhante”ti kho te bhikkh³ bhagavato paccassosu½. Bhagav± etadavoca–
“Katam±ni [katam±ni ca (sy±. ka½. p². ka.)], bhikkhave, catucatt±r²sa½ ñ±ºavatth³ni? Jar±maraºe ñ±ºa½, jar±maraºasamudaye ñ±ºa½, jar±maraºanirodhe ñ±ºa½, jar±maraºanirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; j±tiy± ñ±ºa½, j±tisamudaye ñ±ºa½, j±tinirodhe ñ±ºa½, j±tinirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; bhave ñ±ºa½, bhavasamudaye ñ±ºa½, bhavanirodhe ñ±ºa½, bhavanirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; up±d±ne ñ±ºa½, up±d±nasamudaye ñ±ºa½, up±d±nanirodhe ñ±ºa½, up±d±nanirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; taºh±ya ñ±ºa½, taºh±samudaye ñ±ºa½, taºh±nirodhe ñ±ºa½, taºh±nirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; vedan±ya ñ±ºa½, vedan±samudaye ñ±ºa½, vedan±nirodhe ñ±ºa½, vedan±nirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½; phasse ñ±ºa½…pe… sa¼±yatane ñ±ºa½… n±mar³pe ñ±ºa½… viññ±ºe ñ±ºa½… saªkh±resu ñ±ºa½, saªkh±rasamudaye ñ±ºa½, saªkh±ranirodhe ñ±ºa½, saªkh±ranirodhag±miniy± paµipad±ya ñ±ºa½. Im±ni vuccanti, bhikkhave, catucatt±r²sa½ ñ±ºavatth³ni.
“Katamañca, bhikkhave, jar±maraºa½? Y± tesa½ tesa½ satt±na½ tamhi tamhi sattanik±ye jar± j²raºat± khaº¹icca½ p±licca½ valittacat± ±yuno sa½h±ni indriy±na½ parip±ko, aya½ vuccati jar±. Y± tesa½ tesa½ satt±na½ tamh± tamh± sattanik±y± cuti cavanat± bhedo antaradh±na½ maccu maraºa½ k±lakiriy± khandh±na½ bhedo ka¼evarassa nikkhepo. Ida½ vuccati maraºa½. Iti ayañca jar±, idañca maraºa½; ida½ vuccati, bhikkhave, jar±maraºa½.
“J±tisamuday± jar±maraºasamudayo; j±tinirodh± jar±maraºanirodho; ayameva ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo jar±maraºanirodhag±min² paµipad±, seyyathida½– samm±diµµhi…pe… samm±sam±dhi.
“Yato kho, bhikkhave, ariyas±vako eva½ jar±maraºa½ paj±n±ti, eva½ jar±maraºasamudaya½ paj±n±ti, eva½ jar±maraºanirodha½ paj±n±ti, eva½ jar±maraºanirodhag±mini½ paµipada½ paj±n±ti, idamassa dhamme ñ±ºa½ So imin± dhammena diµµhena viditena ak±likena pattena pariyog±¼hena at²t±n±gatena ya½ neti.
“Ye kho keci at²tamaddh±na½ samaº± v± br±hmaº± v± jar±maraºa½ abbhañña½su, jar±maraºasamudaya½ abbhañña½su, jar±maraºanirodha½ abbhañña½su, jar±maraºanirodhag±mini½ paµipada½ abbhañña½su, sabbe te evameva abbhañña½su, seyyath±p±ha½ etarahi.
“Yepi hi keci an±gatamaddh±na½ samaº± v± br±hmaº± v± jar±maraºa½ abhij±nissanti, jar±maraºasamudaya½ abhij±nissanti, jar±maraºanirodha½ abhij±nissanti, jar±maraºanirodhag±mini½ paµipada½ abhij±nissanti, sabbe te evameva abhij±nissanti, seyyath±p±ha½ etarah²ti. Idamassa anvaye ñ±ºa½.
“Yato kho, bhikkhave, ariyas±vakassa im±ni dve ñ±º±ni parisuddh±ni honti pariyod±t±ni– dhamme ñ±ºañca anvaye ñ±ºañca. Aya½ vuccati, bhikkhave, ariyas±vako diµµhisampanno itipi, dassanasampanno itipi, ±gato ima½ saddhamma½ itipi, passati ima½ saddhamma½ itipi, sekkhena ñ±ºena samann±gato itipi, sekkh±ya vijj±ya samann±gato itipi, dhammasota½ sam±panno itipi, ariyo nibbedhikapañño itipi, amatadv±ra½ ±hacca tiµµhati itip²ti.
“Katam± ca, bhikkhave, j±ti…pe… katamo ca, bhikkhave, bhavo… katamañca, bhikkhave, up±d±na½… katam± ca, bhikkhave taºh±… katam± ca, bhikkhave, vedan±… katamo ca, bhikkhave, phasso… katamañca, bhikkhave sa¼±yatana½… katamañca, bhikkhave, n±mar³pa½ katamañca, bhikkhave, viññ±ºa½… katame ca, bhikkhave, saªkh±r±? Tayome, bhikkhave saªkh±r±– k±yasaªkh±ro, vac²saªkh±ro, cittasaªkh±roti. Ime vuccanti, bhikkhave, saªkh±r±.
“Avijj±samuday± saªkh±rasamudayo; avijj±nirodh± saªkh±ranirodho; ayameva ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo saªkh±ranirodhag±min² paµipad±, seyyathida½– samm±diµµhi…pe… samm±sam±dhi.
“Yato kho, bhikkhave, ariyas±vako eva½ saªkh±re paj±n±ti, eva½ saªkh±rasamudaya½ paj±n±ti eva½ saªkh±ranirodha½ paj±n±ti, eva½ saªkh±ranirodhag±mini½ paµipada½ paj±n±ti, idamassa dhamme ñ±ºa½. So imin± dhammena diµµhena viditena ak±likena pattena pariyog±¼hena at²t±n±gatena ya½ neti.
