298. Eva½ me sutanti mah±kammavibhaŖgasutta½. Tattha moghanti tuccha½ aphala½. Saccanti tatha½ bh³ta½. Idańca etena na sammukh± suta½, up±lisutte (ma. ni. 2.56) pana– “manokamma½ mah±s±vajjatara½ pańńapemi p±passa kammassa kiriy±ya p±passa kammassa pavattiy±, no tath± k±yakamma½ no tath± vac²kamman”ti bhagavat± vutta½ atthi, s± kath± titthiy±na½ antare p±kaµ± j±t±, ta½ gahetv± esa vadati. Atthi ca s± sam±patt²ti ida½– “katha½ nu kho, bho, abhisańń±nirodho hot²”ti poµµhap±dasutte (d². ni. 1.406 ±dayo) uppanna½ abhisańń±nirodhakatha½ sandh±ya vadati. Na kińci vediyat²ti ekavedanampi na vediyati. Atthi ca khoti thero nirodhasam±patti½ sandh±ya anuj±n±ti. Parirakkhitabbanti garahato mocanena rakkhitabba½. Sańcetan± assa atth²ti sańcetanika½, s±bhisandhika½ sańcetanikakamma½ katv±ti attho. Dukkha½ soti thero “akusalameva sandh±ya paribb±jako pucchat²”ti sańń±ya eva½ vadati.
Dassanampi kho ahanti bhagav± caturaŖgepi andhak±re samant± yojanaµµh±ne tilamattampi saŖkh±ra½ ma½sacakkhun±va passati, ayańca paribb±jako na d³re g±vutamattabbhantare vasati, kasm± bhagav± evam±h±ti? Sam±gamadassana½ sandh±yevam±ha.
299. Ud±y²ti l±lud±y². Ta½ dukkhasminti sabba½ ta½ dukkhameva. Iti ima½ vaµµadukkha½ kilesadukkha½ saŖkh±radukkha½ sandh±ya “sace bh±sita½ bhaveyya bhagav±”ti pucchati.
300. UmmaŖganti pańh±-ummaŖga½. Ummujjam±noti s²sa½ n²haram±no. Ayoniso ummujjissat²ti anup±yena s²sa½ n²harissati. Idańca pana bhagav± j±nanto neva dibbacakkhun± na cetopariyań±ŗena na sabbańńutań±ŗena j±ni, adhipp±yeneva pana ańń±si. Kathentassa hi adhipp±yo n±ma suvij±no hoti, kathetuk±mo g²va½ paggaŗh±ti, hanuka½ c±leti, mukhamassa phandati, sannis²ditu½ na sakkoti. Bhagav± tassa ta½ ±k±ra½ disv± “aya½ ud±y² sannis²ditu½ na sakkoti, ya½ abh³ta½, tadeva kathessat²”ti oloketv±va ańń±si. ¾di½ yev±ti-±dimhiyeva. Tisso vedan±ti “ki½ so vediyat²”ti? Pucchantena “tisso vedan± pucch±m²”ti eva½ vavatthapetv±va tisso vedan± pucchit±. Sukhavedaniyanti sukhavedan±ya paccayabh³ta½. Sesesupi eseva nayo.
Ettha ca k±m±vacarakusalato somanassasahagatacittasampayutt± catasso cetan±, heµµh± tikajjh±nacetan±ti eva½ paµisandhipavattesu sukhavedan±ya jananato sukhavedaniya½ kamma½ n±ma. K±m±vacarańcettha paµisandhiya½yeva ekantena sukha½ janeti, pavatte iµµhamajjhatt±rammaŗe adukkhamasukhampi.
Akusalacetan± paµisandhipavattesu dukkhasseva jananato dukkhavedaniya½ kamma½ n±ma. K±yadv±re pavatteyeva ceta½ ekantena dukkha½ janeti, ańńattha adukkhamasukhampi, s± pana vedan± aniµµh±niµµhamajjhattesuyeva ±rammaŗesu uppajjanato dukkh±tveva saŖkha½ gat±.
K±m±vacarakusalato pana upekkh±sahagatacittasampayutt± catasso cetan±, r³p±vacarakusalato catutthajjh±nacetan±ti eva½ paµisandhipavattesu tatiyavedan±ya jananato adukkhamasukhavedaniya½ kamma½ n±ma. Ettha ca k±m±vacara½ paµisandhiya½yeva ekantena adukkhamasukha½ janeti, pavatte iµµh±rammaŗe sukhampi. Apica sukhavedaniyakamma½ paµisandhipavattivasena vaµµati, tath± adukkhamasukhavedaniya½, dukkhavedaniya½ pavattivaseneva vaµµati. Etassa pana vasena sabba½ pavattivaseneva vaµµati.
Etassa bhagav±ti thero tath±gatena mah±kammavibhaŖgakathanattha½ ±layo dassito, tath±gata½ y±citv± mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗa½ bhikkhusaŖghassa p±kaµa½ kariss±m²ti cintetv± anusandhikusalat±ya evam±ha. Tattha mah±kammavibhaŖganti mah±kammavibhajana½. Katame catt±ro…pe… idh±nanda, ekacco puggalo…pe… niraya½ upapajjat²ti ida½ na mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗabh±jana½, mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗabh±janatth±ya pana m±tik±µµhapana½.
301. Idh±nanda ekacco samaŗo v±ti p±µiyekko anusandhi. Idańhi bhagav±– “dibbacakkhuk± samaŗabr±hmaŗ± ida½ ±rammaŗa½ katv± ima½ paccaya½ labhitv± ida½ dassana½ gaŗhant²”ti pak±sanattha½ ±rabhi. Tattha ±tappanti-±d²ni pańcapi v²riyasseva n±m±ni. Cetosam±dhinti dibbacakkhusam±dhi½. Passat²ti “so satto kuhi½ nibbatto”ti olokento passati. Ye ańńath±ti ye “dasanna½ kusal±na½ kammapath±na½ p³ritatt± niraya½ upapajjat²”ti j±nanti, micch± tesa½ ń±ŗanti vadati. Imin± nayena sabbav±resu attho veditabbo. Viditanti p±kaµa½. Th±mas±ti diµµhith±mena. Par±m±s±ti diµµhipar±m±sena. Abhinivissa voharat²ti adhiµµhahitv± ±diyitv± voharati.
302. Tatr±nand±ti idampi na mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗassa bh±jana½, atha khv±ssa m±tik±µµhapanameva. Ettha pana etesa½ dibbacakkhuk±na½ vacane ettak± anuńń±t±, ettak± ananuńń±t±ti ida½ dassita½. Tattha tatr±ti tesu cat³su samaŗabr±hmaŗesu. Idamass±ti ida½ vacana½ assa. Ańńath±ti ańńen±k±rena. Iti imesa½ samaŗabr±hmaŗ±na½ v±de dv²su µh±nesu anuńń±t±, t²su ananuńń±t±ti eva½ sabbattha anuńń± n±nuńń± veditabb±.
303. Eva½ dibbacakkhuk±na½ vacane anuńń± ca ananuńń± ca dassetv± id±ni mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗa½ vibhajanto tatr±nanda, yv±ya½ puggaloti-±dim±ha.
Pubbe v±ssa ta½ kata½ hot²ti ya½ imin± dibbacakkhukena kamma½ karonto diµµho, tato pubbe kata½. Pubbe katenapi hi niraye nibbattati, pacch± katenapi nibbattati, maraŗak±le v± pana– “khando seµµho sivo seµµho, pit±maho seµµho, issar±d²hi v± loko visaµµho”ti-±din± micch±dassanenapi nibbattateva. Diµµheva dhammeti ya½ tattha diµµhadhammavedan²ya½ hoti, tassa diµµheva dhamme, ya½ upapajjavedan²ya½, tassa upapajjitv±, ya½ apar±pariyavedan²ya½, tassa aparasmi½ pariy±ye vip±ka½ paµisa½vedeti.
Iti aya½ samaŗo v± br±hmaŗo v± eka½ kammar±si½ ekańca vip±kar±si½ addasa, samm±sambuddho imin± adiµµhe tayo kammar±s², dve ca vip±kar±s² addasa. Imin± pana diµµhe adiµµhe ca catt±ro kammar±s² tayo ca vip±kar±s² addasa. Im±ni satta µh±n±ni j±nanań±ŗa½ tath±gatassa mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗa½ n±ma. Dutiyav±re dibbacakkhukena kińci na diµµha½ tath±gatena pana tayo kammar±s², dve ca vip±kar±s² diµµh±ti. Im±nipi pańca paccattaµµh±n±ni j±nanań±ŗa½ tath±gatassa mah±kammavibhaŖgań±ŗa½ n±ma. Abhabbanti bh³tavirahita½ akusala½. Abhabb±bh±santi abhabba½ ±bh±sati abhibhavati paµib±hat²ti attho. Bahukasmińhi akusalakamme ±y³hite balavakamma½ dubbalakammassa vip±ka½ paµib±hitv± attano vip±kassa ok±sa½ karoti ida½ abhabbańceva abhabb±bh±sańca. Kusala½ pana ±y³hitv± ±sanne akusala½ kata½ hoti, ta½ kusalassa vip±ka½ paµib±hitv± attano vip±kassa ok±sa½ karoti, ida½ abhabba½ bhabb±bh±sa½. Bahumhi kusale ±y³hitepi balavakamma½ dubbalakammassa vip±ka½ paµib±hitv± attano vip±kassa ok±sa½ karoti, ida½ bhabbańceva bhabb±bh±sańca. Akusala½ pana ±y³hitv± ±sanne kusala½ kata½ hoti, ta½ akusalassa vip±ka½ paµib±hitv± attano vip±kassa ok±sa½ karoti, ida½ bhabba½ abhabb±bh±sa½.
Apica upaµµh±n±k±renapettha attho veditabbo. Idańhi vutta½ hoti, abhabbato ±bh±sati upaµµh±t²ti abhabb±bh±sa½.
