Tattha “y± c±vuso vis±kha, samm±v±c±, yo ca samm±kammanto, yo ca samm±-±j²vo ime dhamm± s²lakkhandhe saªgahit±”ti (ma. ni. 1.462) aya½ j±tisaªgaho. “Yo c±vuso vis±kha, samm±v±y±mo. Y± ca samm±sati, yo ca samm±sam±dhi, ime dhamm± sam±dhikkhandhe saªgahit±”ti aya½ sañj±tisaªgaho. “Y± c±vuso vis±kha, samm±diµµhi, yo ca samm±saªkappo, ime dhamm± paññ±kkhandhe saªgahit±”ti aya½ kiriy±saªgaho. “Hañci cakkh±yatana½ r³pakkhandhagaºana½ gacchati, tena vata re vattabbe cakkh±yatana½ r³pakkhandhena saªgahitan”ti (kath±. 471) aya½ gaºanasaªgaho. Pannarasavaggasam±yog±ti pannarasavaggasa½yog±ti attho. Keci pana sam±yogasadda½ samud±yattha½ vadanti. Padatoti ettha aµµhakkharo g±th±p±do “padan”ti adhippeto, tasm± “akkharato cha akkharasatasahass±ni catur±s²tuttarasat±dhik±ni catucatt±l²sa sahass±ni ca akkhar±n²”ti p±µhena bhavitabbanti vadanti. Yasm± pana navakkharo y±va dv±dasakkharo ca g±th±p±do sa½vijjati, tasm± t±dis±nampi g±th±na½ vasena a¹¹hateyyag±th±sata½ bh±ºav±ro hot²ti katv± “akkharato satta akkharasatasahass±ni catt±l²sañca sahass±ni tepaññ±sañca akkhar±n²”ti vutta½. Evañhi padabh±ºav±ragaºan±hi akkharagaºan± sa½sandati, netarath±. Bh±ºav±roti ca dvatti½sakkhar±na½ g±th±na½ vasena a¹¹hateyyag±th±sata½, ayañca akkharagaºan± bh±ºav±ragaºan± ca padagaºan±nus±rena laddh±ti veditabb±. Imameva hi attha½ ñ±petu½ suttagaºan±nantara½ bh±ºav±re agaºetv± pad±ni gaºit±ni. Tatrida½ vuccati–
“Bh±ºav±r± yath±pi hi, majjhimassa pak±sit±;
upa¹¹habh±ºav±ro ca, tev²satipad±dhiko.
Satta satasahass±ni, akkhar±na½ vibh±vaye;
catt±l²sa sahass±ni, tepaññ±sañca akkharan”ti.
Anusandhitoti desan±nusandhito. Ekasmi½ eva hi sutte purimapacchim±na½ desan±bh±g±na½ sambandho anusandh±nato anusandhi. Ettha ca attajjh±say±nusandhi parajjh±say±nusandh²ti duvidho ajjh±say±nusandhi. So pana katthaci desan±ya vippakat±ya dhamma½ suºant±na½ pucch±vasena, katthaci desentassa satthu s±vakassa dhammapaµigg±hak±nañca ajjh±sayavasena, katthaci desetabbassa dhammassa vasena hot²ti sam±sato tippak±ro. Tena vutta½ “pucch±nusandhi-ajjh±say±nusandhiyath±nusandhivasena saªkhepato tividho anusandh²”ti. Saªkhepeneva ca catubbidho anusandhi veditabbo. Tattha “eva½ vutte aññataro bhikkhu bhagavanta½ etadavoca ‘ki½ nu kho, bhante, orima½ t²ra½, ki½ p±rima½ t²ra½, ko majjhe sa½s²do, ko thale uss±do, ko manussagg±ho, ko amanussagg±ho, ko ±vattagg±ho, ko antop³tibh±vo’ti” (sa½. ni. 4.241)? Eva½ pucchant±na½ vissajjentena bhagavat± pavattitadesan±vasena pucch±nusandh² veditabbo. “Atha kho aññatarassa bhikkhuno eva½ cetaso parivitakko udap±di ‘iti kira bho r³pa½ anatt±… vedan±… saññ±… saªkh±r±… viññ±ºa½ anatt±, anattakat±ni kamm±ni kamatt±na½ phusissant²’ti. Atha kho bhagav± tassa bhikkhuno cetas± cetoparivitakkamaññ±ya bhikkh³ ±mantesi µh±na½ kho paneta½, bhikkhave, vijjati, ya½ idhekacco moghapuriso avidv± avijj±gato taºh±dhipateyyena cetas± satthus±sana½ atidh±vitabba½ maññeyya ‘iti kira bho r³pa½ anatt±…pe… phusissant²’ti. Ta½ ki½ maññatha bhikkhave, r³pa½ nicca½ v± anicca½ v±”ti (ma. ni. 3.90) eva½ paresa½ ajjh±saya½ viditv± bhagavat± pavattitadesan±vasena parajjh±say±nusandhi veditabbo.
“Tassa mayha½ br±hmaºa etadahosi ‘ya½n³n±ha½ y± t± rattiyo abhiññ±t± abhilakkhit± c±tuddas² pañcadas² aµµham² ca pakkhassa, tath±r³p±su ratt²su y±ni t±ni ±r±macetiy±ni vanacetiy±ni rukkhacetiy±ni bhi½sanak±ni salomaha½s±ni, tath±r³pesu sen±sanesu vihareyya½ appeva n±m±ha½ bhayabherava½ passeyyan’ti” (ma. ni. 1.49) eva½ bhagavat±, “tatr±vuso lobho ca p±pako doso ca p±pako lobhassa ca pah±n±ya dosassa ca pah±n±ya atthi majjhim± paµipad±, cakkhukaraº² ñ±ºakaraº² upasam±ya abhiññ±ya sambodh±ya nibb±n±ya sa½vattat²”ti (ma. ni. 1.33) eva½ dhammasen±patin± ca attano ajjh±sayeneva pavattitadesan±vasena attajjh±say±nusandhi veditabbo. Seyyathida½ ±kaªkheyyasutte (ma. ni. 1.65) heµµh± s²lena desan± uµµhit±, upari abhiññ± ±gat±. Vatthusutte (ma. ni. 1.70) heµµh± kilesena desan± uµµhit±, upari brahmavih±r± ±gat±. Kosambakasutte (ma. ni. 1.491) heµµh± bhaº¹anena desan± uµµhit±, upari s±raº²yadhamm± ±gat±. Kakac³pame (ma. ni. 1.222) heµµh± akkhantiy± vasena desan± uµµhit±, upari kakac³pam± ±gat±ti.
Vitth±rato panetth±ti eva½ saªkhepato tividho catubbidho ca anusandhi ettha etasmi½ majjhimanik±ye tasmi½ tasmi½ sutte yath±raha½ vitth±rato vibhajitv± viññ±yam±n± navasat±dhik±ni t²ºi anusandhisahass±ni honti. Yath± ceta½ paºº±s±divibh±gavacana½ majjhimasaªg²tiy± sar³padassanattha½ hoti, eva½ pakkhepadosapariharaºatthañca hoti. Evañhi paºº±s±d²su vavatthitesu tabbinimutta½ kiñci sutta½ y±va eka½ padampi ±netv± ima½ majjhimasaªg²tiy±ti kassaci vattu½ ok±so na siy±ti.
Eva½ paºº±savaggasuttabh±ºav±r±nusandhibyañjanato majjhimasaªg²ti½ vavatthapetv± id±ni na½ ±dito paµµh±ya sa½vaººetuk±mo attano sa½vaººan±ya tass± paµhamamah±saªg²tiya½ nikkhitt±nukkameneva pavattabh±va½ dassetu½ “tattha paºº±s±su m³lapaºº±s± ±d²”ti-±dim±ha. Tattha yath±paccaya½ tattha tattha desitatt± paññattatt± ca vippakiºº±na½ dhammavinay±na½ saªgahetv± g±yana½ kathana½ saªg²ti, mah±visayatt± p³jan²yatt± ca mahat² saªg²t²ti mah±saªg²ti, paµham± mah±saªg²ti paµhamamah±saªg²ti, tass± pavattitak±lo paµhamamah±saªg²tik±lo, tasmi½ paµhamamah±saªg²tik±le. Nidad±ti desana½ desak±l±divasena avidita½ vidita½ katv± nidasset²ti nid±na½, yo lokiyehi “upoggh±to”ti vuccati, sv±yamettha “eva½ me sutan”ti-±diko gantho veditabbo, na pana “sanid±n±ha½, bhikkhave, dhamma½ desem²”ti-±d²su (a. ni. 3.126) viya ajjh±say±didesanuppattihetu. Tenev±ha “eva½ me sutanti-±dika½ ±yasmat± ±nandena paµhamamah±saªg²tik±le vutta½ nid±nam±d²”ti. K±mañcettha yassa½ paµhamamah±saªg²tiya½ nikkhitt±nukkamena sa½vaººana½ kattuk±mo, s± vitth±rato vattabb±. Sumaªgalavil±siniya½ (d². ni. µ². 1.nid±nakath±vaººan±) pana attan± vitth±ritatt± tattheva gahetabb±ti imiss± sa½vaººan±ya mahantata½ pariharanto “s± panes±”ti-±dim±ha.
