Sabbesańhi samm±sambuddh±na½ k±yapaŗidh±na½ imin±va n²h±rena samijjhat²ti.

Eva½ mah±bhin²h±ravasena “tath±gato”ti padassa attha½ vatv± id±ni p±ram²p³raŗavasena dassetu½ “atha v± yath± vipass² bhagav±…pe… yath± kassapo bhagav± d±nap±rami½ p³retv±”ti-±di vutta½. Imasmi½ pana µh±ne suttantik±na½ mah±bodhiy±napaµipad±ya kosallajananattha½ p±ram²kath± vattabb±, s± pana sabb±k±rasampann± cariy±piµakavaŗŗan±ya (cariy±. pakiŗŗakakath±) vitth±rato niddiµµh±, tasm± atthikehi tattha vuttanayeneva veditabb±. Yath± pana pubbe vipass²-±dayo samm±sambuddh± abhin²h±rasampattiya½ patiµµh±ya suvisuddh±ya paµipad±ya anavasesato sammadeva sabb± p±ramiyo parip³resu½, eva½ amh±kampi bhagav± parip³res²ti imamattha½ sandh±y±ha “samatti½ sap±ramiyo p³retv±”ti. Vipassan±sahagat± eva v± satipaµµh±n±dayo daµµhabb±. Ettha ca “yena abhin²h±ren±”ti-±din± ±gamanapaµipad±ya ±di½ dasseti, “d±nap±ram²”ti-±din± majjha½, “catt±ro satipaµµh±ne”ti-±din± pariyos±nanti veditabba½.
Sampatij±toti muhuttaj±to manuss±na½ hatthato muttamatto, na m±tukucchito nikkhantamatto. Nikkhantamattańhi mah±satta½ paµhama½ brahm±no suvaŗŗaj±lena paµiggaŗhi½su, tesa½ hatthato catt±ro mah±r±j±no ajinappaveŗiy±, tesa½ hatthato manuss± duk³lacumbaµakena paµiggaŗhi½su, manuss±na½ hatthato muccitv± pathaviya½ patiµµhitoti. Sańń±s²sena diµµhicitt±nampi gahaŗa½ daµµhabba½. Esa nayo ito paresupi. Nibbid±nupassan±y±ti saŖkh±resu nibbijjan±k±rena pavatt±ya anupassan±ya. Nandinti sapp²tikataŗha½. Aniccadukkh±divasena sabbadhammat²raŗa½ adhipańń±dhammavipassan±. S±r±d±n±bhinivesanti as±resu s±raggahaŗavipall±sa½. Issarakutt±divasena loko samuppannoti abhiniveso sammoh±bhiniveso. Keci pana “ahosi½ nu kho aha½ at²tamaddh±nanti-±din± (ma. ni. 1.18; sa½. ni. 2.20) pavattasa½say±patti sammoh±bhiniveso”ti vadanti.
