Atha kho ±yasmato s±riputtassa etadahosi– “l±bh± ±yasmato puººassa mant±ºiputtassa, suladdhal±bh± ±yasmato puººassa mant±ºiputtassa, yassa viññ³ sabrahmac±r² satthu sammukh± anumassa anumassa vaººa½ bh±santi, tañca satth± abbhanumodati. Appeva n±ma mayampi kad±ci karahaci ±yasmat± puººena mant±ºiputtena saddhi½ sam±gaccheyy±ma [sam±gama½ gaccheyya (ka.)], appeva n±ma siy± kocideva kath±sall±po”ti.
254. Atha kho bhagav± r±jagahe yath±bhiranta½ viharitv± yena s±vatthi tena c±rika½ pakk±mi. Anupubbena c±rika½ caram±no yena s±vatthi tadavasari. Tatra suda½ bhagav± s±vatthiya½ viharati jetavane an±thapiº¹ikassa ±r±me. Assosi kho ±yasm± puººo mant±ºiputto– “bhagav± kira s±vatthi½ anuppatto; s±vatthiya½ viharati jetavane an±thapiº¹ikassa ±r±me”ti.
255. Atha kho ±yasm± puººo mant±ºiputto sen±sana½ sa½s±metv± pattac²varam±d±ya yena s±vatthi tena c±rika½ pakk±mi. Anupubbena c±rika½ caram±no yena s±vatthi jetavana½ an±thapiº¹ikassa ±r±mo yena bhagav± tenupasaªkami; upasaªkamitv± bhagavanta½ abhiv±detv± ekamanta½ nis²di. Ekamanta½ nisinna½ kho ±yasmanta½ puººa½ mant±ºiputta½ bhagav± dhammiy± kath±ya sandassesi sam±dapesi samuttejesi sampaha½sesi. Atha kho ±yasm± s±riputto taram±nar³po nis²dana½ ±d±ya ±yasmanta½ puººa½ mant±ºiputta½ piµµhito piµµhito anubandhi s²s±nulok². Atha kho ±yasm± puººo mant±ºiputto andhavana½ ajjhog±hetv± aññatarasmi½ rukkham³le div±vih±ra½ nis²di. ¾yasm±pi kho s±riputto andhavana½ ajjhog±hetv± aññatarasmi½ rukkham³le div±vih±ra½ nis²di.
