Eva½ vutte ±yasm± ±nando bhagavanta½ etadavoca– “seyyath±pi, bhante, puriso jighacch±dubbalyapareto madhupiº¹ika½ adhigaccheyya, so yato yato s±yeyya, labhetheva s±durasa½ asecanaka½. Evameva kho, bhante, cetaso bhikkhu dabbaj±tiko, yato yato imassa dhammapariy±yassa paññ±ya attha½ upaparikkheyya, labhetheva attamanata½, labhetheva cetaso pas±da½. Ko n±mo aya½ [ko n±m±ya½ (sy±.)], bhante, dhammapariy±yo”ti? “Tasm±tiha tva½, ±nanda, ima½ dhammapariy±ya½ madhupiº¹ikapariy±yo tveva na½ dh±reh²”ti.
